Sep 1, 2010So im rooted running cyanogenmod 6.0 and espn sportcenter app keeps getting force close on the widget. On BB.04 I didnt have this problem.

Motorola Droid X :: ESPN Scorecenter Widget?
Oct 1, 2010I downloaded this and am using the widget but cant figure out how to use it for just the top events. It keeps saying on the Widget that there are no myTeams events found. I don't want my teams, I just want all scores. Does it work for that?
I have Scoremobile and it is very nice but the widget is too damn big. how do i get this ESPN widget to do the same thing, or is there some other sports widget that will that isn't as big as Scoremobile?

2. Download blue scorecenter and place on sdcard.
3. Install using astro or another file manager.

Jan 17, 2010We are working to get an espn app on android. I would actually like a widget and an app. To get this we are emailing espn and expressing the desire to get an app/widget on android. To do this you must have an account with espn. It is free to set up. Once you set it up go to the contact us section and send an email requesting an app/ widget. This was not originally my idea got it from a guy on droidforum.net. But I feel if we can get enough android users emailing they will see how large the android base really is. The amount of android users combined (g1, droid, nexus, hero, eris, click, and more) out numbers iphone users and I do not see why we will not be able to get one if they have an app.

Apr 16, 2010I had tried using Dolphin and an disguise myself as the iPhone browser. It would bring up the video option, but when I tried to play, it would say the media was not supported!
It seems just yesterday they've added native support for Android. Now I can watch the highlight of the day, top 10s, etc all from their website.

Apr 1, 2010On my news and weather app the weather does not show up therefore does not show up in the multimedia dock at night. I have tried zip code and geolocation. It keeps saying when i refresh weather info unavailable. IS anyone else having this problem? This just started happening yesterday morning prior to that i had no problems with it. The news portion is working fine.

I see some pretty good improvements over 1.5, but now I've installed the latest update of the 'official' face book app, and the Face book widget no longer works! I get 'problem loading gadget' where the widget should appear on my phone The app still works if I click on the icon, but the widget is now 'broken'. Anyone else have this problem?

Dec 25, 2009Just last night my mobile networking widet stopped working. If I remove it from my home screen it will start working again but only for a little while. I recently installed task panel and turned on the auto kill feature...I'm wondering if there is something I'm killing that is doing it but i dont see anything obvious.

Motorola Droid X :: Picture Widget And Picture Slideshow Widget
Jul 25, 2010I posted this question sort of embedded in the "show us your Droid X screen" but I think it got buried with all the "what is that widget?" questions.I see on some screens the picture widget picture is big. Mine is only about 1 inch by 1/2 inch.I can barely even get 1/2 a face in the picture.How do you get a bigger picture?I'm running LauncherPro, is that effecting it?Since I couldn't get a bigger picture, I decided to try and add the slide show widget. But when I try, it says Widget Conflict only one photo slideshow per home screen. I don't have any other slideshow widgets on my screen. Any ideas?

Jun 29, 2010I've done a search through the threads to see if I can find the same issue, so please forgive me if I'm duplicating anything here. I have an HTC Desire on Orange. Until earlier today, my weather widget was working fine, it knew where I was and it updated the weather accurately. This afternoon it recognizes my location correctly but now says 'no weather data available'. It still shows weather for the other locations - London, Paris, etc, but not for where I am now. The only thing I can think of that has changed is that I just installed an update on an app I have (White Noise Lite from TMSOFT). Might uninstalling this app help? I tried to manually add in my location, wondering if this would work, but it is not available on the list of locations. I've tried removing and then re-adding the weather widget to my home screens. I've tried turning my phone off and on again, in the spirit of all IT helpdesk encounters I've ever had.

Apr 29, 2010The wifi toggle widget that comes standard on the phone is not working for me. When wifi is off, I press the toggle widget and the small bar goes up showing that wifi is connected. But at the top bar, it still says 3G and doesn't show the wifi bars symbol. Only when I go into the settings menu does it connect to wifi. Anyone else having this problem? And keep in mind, this is the wifi widget that is already on the phone, not from the marketplace.

Jul 23, 2013I am having a HTC One X running ProBAM ROM and XM Kernel. It has FastCharge feature by which the phone can charge as if it is connected to AC mains even if it is plugged into Laptop. For this to be enabled, the value '1' has to be written to the following file
/sys/devices/platform/htc_battery/fast_charge
Wrote a small widget to do that job for me. And its working fine
My question is .... I haven't added any permissions in the Manifest file, and also the widget is not asking for any Root request when i use it.... Shoudn't the widget give error since no write permission is available in the manifest and shouldnt it ask for Root access since it is trying to write to a system partition?
I have attached the Eclipse project folder of that widget also.
