All of a sudden my notify light displays a constant blue light when the phone is put to sleep. I've uninstalled Chomp and I do not have any social networking apps installed nor do I have accounts synced to the phone. All messages on my phone have been read.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had no clue what it was until I checked the nav bar, and saw it was a facebook update. Wow, I thought, maybe they fixed the facebook app in the background without forcing me to update. Haven't seen the blue light since, and it has been 2 days and 7-9 notifications later.
Any idea when they will fix the facebook app? Or better yet, any idea how I got it to light up once randomly? It was somebody posting a comment on my wall post fyi (and the notifications still don't refresh in the app itself). Also, why can't I view linked youtube videos from other peoples comments? Obviously the droid can use youtube, so it seems odd that they wouldn't let you watch posted videos.
After upgrading to 2.1, I had the Google navigate widget on my homescreen. It worked nicely and I used it a lot. I did a factory re-set to cure my Internet sharing problem (it worked) but now I cannot find the little blue triangle Google navigate icon anywhere. I can still get to Google navigate via Google maps, but would like my blue triangle widget back.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy sister has a Samsung Galaxy y phone running Gingerbread 2.3.3 (not rooted). She plugged the phone after it ran out of charge and saw this screen (pic attached) with the battery icon empty and a blue triangle with a crossed out battery symbol inside it. The phone would not power up.
We tried everything : checked charger, plug points, usb charging, taking out battery and cleaning contacts but everything is fine.
OK, I used Soup or Root to root the phone. I see that i have root access. I installed Rom Manager. But no matter what rom I try to install, I get the little triangle with an exclamation point with the phone below it. I am sure I am missing something. Help a newbie out? So far I have tried to install bugless beast and cyanogenMod.

When i applied it i can not recieve calls, just keep gettign a forced close error message. I assume it is not compatable. Anyway, been looking but have not found anything yet. The blue theme i had included a "battery" icon that changed color and a blue signal meter. Also it had a acutal satilete icon in the notification panel.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI made this for myself. It is not an approved theme. It is put together different then the others I have put out (for 2.2.2).Please check the Change log at the bottom of pics. I just booted it on 2.2.2 and am up and running fine so far.It is still in the testing faze. Do not apply this and then cry to the guys at Fission about problems.Do read the change log before applying. Its the same theme I always like with a little lighter application. It does not have a base in black out any longer. The base was taken from one of the direct 2.2.2 download themes.

Long story short: on my way to vegas my girlfriend was browsing the web on my droid x and the led turned a solid blue. The only app I have that turns the led blue is blink but I have it set to flash blue for incoming and missed calls, however, I didn't have any missed calls and there were no notifications in the tray.

To install:
1. Unistall ESPN scorecenter if already on your phone.
2. Download blue scorecenter and place on sdcard.
3. Install using astro or another file manager.
Note: The market will recognize this app and should promote you if there is an update available in the future. Updating the app will probably revert it back to stock red.

I made a custom blue Droid battery icon(based on Manigma77's "3Dbattery" icon). I just changed the color. It is part of my setup shown in this thread: http://androidforums.com/all-things-root-droid/47148-learning-experience-care-share-yours.html
There has been enough interest in it that I figured I would post it up for those of you who would like to have it It is a Metamorph file and easy to apply. Here is what it looks like:
Of course the icon changes with battery status as it should Here is the file:
Any idea if this could cause battery issues? I usually drive my car every day but I've never had anything like this stupid charger with a light that is PERMANENTLY on. My cigarette lighter port is powered 100% of the time, even when the car is turned off, locked, etc.
This also seems like a theft issue to me... it's just a stupid charger but that won't stop them from thinking "OMG SHINY BLUE LIGHT, MUST BE FANCY STUFF INSIDE!!!"
Any way to turn it off other than breaking it?
Ok, I tried looking around for an answer but can't seem to find one. Anyone know what it means when there's a blue status bubble on the google talk application? Does this mean that the person is chatting? I'm confused and you people is smart

View 9 Replies View RelatedSometimes when I reboot my phone, I first see the 3 androids on skateboards and then it goes to a pic of phone with the red exclamation point in a triangle (same as the failed recovery error). I can pull my battery but that does not help. My phone is useless for at least 30-45 minutes. I have pulled my battery up to 20 consecutive times to fix with no avail.
The variables: This is a refurb phone with 2.1 pre-installed. I have tried to root my phone with the whole timing trick, pull card, insert card. This was done a week or two ago. I do not have that file on my card, nor was my rooting successful. I am thinking that my problem is due to the refurb. My dialer lag is way worse than my previous phone. I can make one phone call every hour or so and I can forget calling someone right back if I missed their call. Does the red triangle/exclamation point show an attempt at rooting?
I am very upset that I can not initiate a phone call THROUGH my blue tooth headset. I was told by HTC Customer support that the 2.1 OS doesn't support it. I was then told that they have no idea when 2.2 will be rolled out.
That the agents were told THE MORNING that 2.1 came out, that "2.1 is now out there. Get ready." Then told that 2.2 is being developed, but that the customer service agent's have NO idea when it will be released. They are being told to say, "In the near future."
I was also told that the "Incredible" has the same software as the Eros, and therefore, the blue tooth is NOT any more fully compatible. Which is interesting, since the Verizon agent said, "Oh yeah, just upgrade to the Incredible, it works fully, with blue tooth devices." Mind you, that would be an additional $99.95. Inmagine how pissed I'd be if I did THAT!
Recently verizon upgraded my software to 2.3 and everything changed including the status bar its blue wat the heck was verizon thinking they cud have left it white or black not every wallpaper goes with a blue status bar, how to change the status bar color without rooting?
