View 2 RepliesDoes anyone know what the brand is? I'm selling mine on craigslist and a potential buyer is asking me this question and i left it at work.
View 4 Replies View RelatedPicked my home dock and car mount along with screen protectors for $50.00 with my Corp discount.I played with the Droid and Eris.I know the Droid is the right decision for me.There may not be multitouch but the phone flies. The Eris is much better than the Sprint Hero however.I had that phone for almost 30 days so I should know.I pick up my phone at 10am from BB till then it's breakfast at ihop.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo after having the phone for about a month now, what accessories do you guys have?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI love my Droid but really wish I had an extra USB cord for it. Any good websites that have cheap accessories? I bought a cigarette adapter but it is annoying to carry the cord back and forth. Is there a generic cord that I can get, possibly a little longer as well?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just came from my local Best Buy where I tried to social-engineer myself a Droid. I brought the Best Buy sku 9553501 and Motorola number A855 with me. The VERY helpful employee looked up the sku and it came up "Not avail at location". He realized it was the Droid and verified his belief by pulling out some accessories (Droid protective cover) marked A855. He told me that this Best Buy wasn't scheduled to have the Droid yet, and proceeded to tell me all about his hacked and rooted phone, how he ran Hero on some WinMo device. He told me that "IF" that Best Buy was going to be able to sell the phone, it won't be until November 9th. He also mentioned that Best Buy is having a training with Verizon on November 2nd. Next attempt will be at the Verizon business store.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm just wondering what types of accessories Droid users have bought. I have the Multimedia docking and the car dock both from Motorola. I bought them on the VZW website and got both for around $22 bucks each. I've been happy with both even though I haven't been driving much. Has anyone seen a car dock that doesn't block the camera? Mine does. I wanted to launch Qik or Ustream Broadcaster while I drive around. Just thought it would make for some cool video.

Cases, screen protectors, car docks and the like. This thread might help me decide on what i want to buy too.
View 49 Replies View RelatedWhen I had my iPhone I always went to a site like ilounge.com, what is the most popular site for the Droid that reviews apps / accessories?
View 5 Replies View RelatedSince the Droid is a micro-USB connection, I am assuming that we do not have to purchase the over-priced Motorola/VZW accessories? All that is necessary is standard car/wall adapter that accepts USB input. Then, any micr-USB cable will suffice. A quick look at different sites has the chargers for ~$10 and a micro-USB cable is only ~$3.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI just sold my GW620 (LG Intouchmax) and have a little bit extra money to spare, and I was wondering, what's the best Android phone you can get for around 80 - 110 pounds?
I'm looking at the Galaxy Portal, I've already had the Dream G1 and HTC Hero G2.
I've also looked at the T-Mobile pulse.
Anyone have any suggestions for a great, fairly inexpensive, Bluetooth headset that comes with great sound quality and not much road noise? I've been looking around but want to make sure that I find a good one for my Eris.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI am currently travelling at Hongkong, here in Mongkok district of Hongkong, there are hundreds of shops selling mobile phones at 'quite cheap' prices. I just bought a HTC desire, it was sealed with plastic, and the storekeeper said that it was a HTC desire with warranty. For HKD 4100. I wanted to buy 2 units, one for my sister. But the store only has 1. So I went to a store next door, and the storekeeper said what I just bought must have been a 'refurbished' one. He said the normal price in HK should be around HKD4250 - HKD4300. Question is, Are there really any method to check whether this new phone I just bought isn't a refurbished one? or a second hand sold as a new unit ? seeing me as a foreigner, they would think I am easier to trick.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI appear to have gotten myself into a bit of a pickle. I recently bought a 3 Mobile HTC Hero and unlocked it successfully. After putting in my Vodafone sim card and starting up the phone, it doesn't seem to be letting me access Vodafone internet. I'm guessing this is because I have the 3 version of the ROM. Is there any way I can download the brand free rom or even just fix this internet problem? This is my first smart phone and I really didn't think this would be a problem. I assumed with android boasting it's open-source-ness that branding wouldn't be an issue.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am wondering what accessories you droid eris users are getting. when i go online to verizons site they only have a few cases but in my experience, if you go to a store there may be more items in stock for the device. so which is it. post picks if you can.
View 49 Replies View RelatedWhy are accessories so scarce.Eris has been out since 11/6.You would figure at least batteries and charging docks would be available. Also with the eris just being a re-branded hero, you would think there would be abundance of accessories.I can understand the droid, because its a completely new device.I know I could just do my research and find out what batteries and docks are compatible, but i don't think i should have to.When i bought the samsung omnia i had no problem finding batteries and docks. It seems like it was a rushed launch, but they been talking about this since the beginning of the year.
View 27 Replies View RelatedI will be traveling to Saint Maarten in September. I have a unlocked Samsung Vibrant and plan on purchasing a SIM card from Orange Wireless for local calls on the Island, unless they sell SIM cards with international credits already on them. I just want to know what would be the cheapest route for me to make calls back home. So far it looks like using the NIM BUZZ app and making the calls VOIP will be the cheapest way.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWe have just released a new app onto the Market which helps you find your nearest Cash Machine or ATM, its called Cash Machine. We have had to charge to this (99p!), but we believe its good value for money with the following features: - Lists nearest ATMs in list or map format - Find by current location GPS/Network - Find by postcode or place name
- Each result displays charges (if any) that are taken by the machine/bank. This version covers the entire , please give it a go and let us know of any feedback (We also have a German version out GeldAutoMat DE, available in German only in Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

I'm brand new to the Android world and, in fact, don't even have a phone yet. However, I'll be picking up the LG Optimus S w/Sprint in the next day or so. All my information (email, calendar, contacts, notes, etc) are all managed in Outlook (stand alone, not Exchange). I've been told that there's no way to sync directly from Outlook to an Android phone so I'm looking for the cheapest way to accomplish that and have good results.
My emails come through Gmail so that part is already done. I use Google's Calendar Sync program so my calendar is already in my Gmail account so that is also done. The contacts and notes are only in Outlook so that's where my main question lies..........
Im desperate here. My son discovered Angry Birds on my Droid X and is now as addicted as my wife and I and wont stop asking me for my phone LOL!! View 12 Replies View RelatedI'm developing a solution that would allow a company to remotely download apps on to the devices and allow app updates- remotely to their numerous Android tabs, without any user interaction. I'm thinking about developing a custom Android ROM to facilitate this. They initially want to manage around 10 tablets on one location and then scale to a couple of hundred devices in various locations- which all need to be managed remotely.
