Android : Get A Reply To A Text Sent/replied To Popup For Handcent Shows The First Message In The String Of Texts
Nov 27, 2009When I get a reply to a text I sent / replied to, the popup for Handcent shows the first message in the string of texts. I would prefer that it showed the most recent text (the incoming text). Is there any way to change this?

I have 2.2 and am using the standard email app that came with my Droid. It's on my work email account which has it's own server, not a gmail/hotmail etc.

Sep 28, 2010I have a Droid 2 that is almost three weeks old.Where are received texts? I got one while in a meeting, glanced at it and then put my phone to sleep. Later I realized that I have no texts except for those that I sent or responded to. Is there a way to get my texts back? Dec 18, 2009I just got the droid about a week ago and I am not getting all of my texts.I get score updates from ESPN, and they aren't getting through to my Droid.It seems like any message from a non-10-digit number don't come in (like 75743 or something like that).I called Verizon and they were clueless.I also don't know how many other texts I am not getting.I sure don't get as many as I did with the iPhone, so I am sure the problem extends beyond non-10-digit numbers.I was also told by a friend that they are getting the same text twice from me.Any suggestions?

Aug 5, 2010When at the home screen and then moving two screens to the right I get to what looks to be some type of image player in the middle and it has the Media Share, Blockbuster, Camcorder, and Gallery at the bottom.
While playing around with the camera I just took some random photos of junk and have since deleted them. But now in the middle of the screen I still see what seems to be the last image I took. Yet the file isn't actually on the phone or card. The round button in the middle (with the square around the 'play' icon) is selected but red (when I touch it it turns green and used to scroll through the photos before I deleted them).
How do I get this ugly blurry test image out of this screen and back to the way it was before?
Motorola Droid X :: Getting Two Pop Up / When Receiving Texts?
Jul 23, 2010Is that normal? I installed Handcent which is what I'd like to use. I checked hand cent delivery report under the hand cent settings and unchecked delivery report from carrier. I searched all the other menus and can't figure it out. I get one pop up that has a done/later/eply window and then another underneath that is bigger that has little icons(paper,mike,person,trash and volume) Is this normal behavior? Or is there a setting that I just cannot find.

Nov 16, 2009This is the only phone that it's ever happened to. Since I got the Droid, I've been missing calls. Not like I have missed calls. The only calls that are okay are the ones that I make. Everyone is telling me that when they call me it rings about 3 times and then just hangs up. Like I ignored it but didn't go to vmail. However, none of these calls are going through at ALL so I'm not ignoring the calls.
Also, everyone is texting me saying that I never texted them back when I know I did.

Jan 21, 2010I was wondering what is up with this feature... when I first bought my droid I didn't have it, then after a few days I could text during a call like normal, now I can't anymore.
Anyone else have this issue? It is very annoying when during a call I get no texts then after a call ill get a bunch of important ones. Every other phone I've ever had does this (motorola Q, Q9m, samsung omnia) is this a glitch on my phone or a common issue?

Aug 2, 2010First off, I read these forums like every day for 2 months (nearly drove my wife insane!) leading up to the release of the X. Stood in line and bought one in the store on the 15th. Had nothing but iPhones until now - loving my DroidX!
BUT
As of right now my battery is down to 60% after having been unplugged (when I unplugged I was at 100%) for 1hr 46m 9s!
It shows display at 93% and cell standby at 7%.
I'm running smart battery mode, auto screen brightness, not that many widgets, and I rooted it and have autokiller running on Aggressive.
Do I just have a bad battery? And if so will Verizon (or Moto) give me a new one?

Apr 12, 2010I went to try and open a message but the app kept bringing up an error and I'd have to force close it. The screen would then switch to my home screen but with no shortcuts just a background then after a second go black until I hit the home button. I restarted the phone and when I opened messaging ALL my conversations were gone. Is this a known glitch? is there a way to get all my texts back?

You have been reported to Verizon and if not returned we will find you...because there's an app for that."captain"."This phone is owned by "random name" call "number" to return immediately.(I have called a couple of these and they are legit with the name and number)Currently it is displaying "This phone belongs to Inah Me (phone number) if lost please call (phone number) called tech support and they said that in 30 years of support they've never seen anything like it. We reset the phone back to stock default uninstalling everything on the phone.
