Motorola Droid X : Bluetooth Calls - Battery Went From 100% Down To 60% / Normal?
Aug 11, 2010Question for others who use a Bluetooth headset with their Droid X. I was on a call using my headset for about an hour. During that time, my battery went from 100% down to 60%. Is this normal? This was with a phone I pulled fresh off the charger. When I make calls just using the phone without Bluetooth, it barely drains at all. Anyone else experiencing this?
I went to the Verizon store and the guy there basically said that this phone only had 3 hours of talk time and that is why it drained so much and that with the Bluetooth on it would make it worse. I've used other phones with Bluetooth and not seen battery drain like this.
Motorola Droid X :: Screenshots Shows Google Voice Call?
Jul 23, 2010In some screenshots it shows me someone is calling me from my google voice number (not just my google number showing on the caller ID). Any one know if this needs to be set up a certain way?

Oct 27, 2010I can receive calls and call out but I cant hear anything. At first I thought it was because the network was down but that's not the case. I then check to see if mute was on and the volume was up. Everything seems fine but maybe someone can point me into the right direction.

When i try to call a number it doesnt even ring or anything. when someone tries to call me the phone doesnt ring either. What did i do wrong?. Everything else is working fine. I know i did the update yesterday and downloaded some apps. Should i return the phone for a new one.

Oct 16, 2010Is there any way to have the phone show me if it's a GV call as opposed to a call to my cell number? My hope was to put my GV number on my resume and be able to tell if it was an employer calling. But so far, in my tests, I can't tell if the inbound number called my GV or my cell.

I start to receive a sms about missed calls and peoples tell me what then they call me operator says that phone is out of reach. Now the battery runs only a day. about 12 hours.
I take a look into Battery use and there shows that Android system uses about 63% Is this normal?
General :: Screen Locked But Still Allows Incoming Calls And Shows Number
Nov 13, 2013I have the screen locked. I get a call and I can still answer it and see the number and contact without unlocking the screen. This might be the same for texts, not sure yet.
I did some Googling and there seems to be a setting that can change how much the screen lock blocks. I think I checked everywhere in the phone but don't see this option. It's a ZTE AWE phone with jelly bean.
There's aparently simple ways to bypass screen lock if a phone's lost, but I still want it fully locked.
HTC Desire :: Unable To End Call / Fix It - Is It Quite Normal?
Apr 9, 2010Just dialed my network operator to listen to how much credit i had on my phone, but when i tapped on 'end call' the phone did not end the call, eventually i had to switch the phone off. It happened a second time too but seems to be okay now.
Is it something i should be concerned about, or is it quite normal, or maybe it's happened to one of you as well.

Mar 15, 2009When you pick up the call and switch the screen to MediaPlayer to play an audio, it is able to be heard from handset (receiver). Thus, you can hear the far-end voice and your local music at the same time. Is it a normal behavior? Android seems not to have the mechanism to let Mediaplayer to remember its status (to keep music pause or mute?) in the phone call. Or this is a normal design for notification sounds, such as a call- waiting sound? Is it possible to have an secondary gain feature like windows mobile in the future?

Oct 29, 2010My battery seems to do alright but one thing that has really been bugging me is that every time my battery gets to 30/20% it dies almost instantly lasting no more than 15 minutes from normal usage (texting, checking email).
Is this normal or is mine a bad battery or a battery gone bad rather? Thing is the battery lasts a long except for the last quarter of the battery. I've never seen my battery hit any values below 20% except 5% which is when it turns off immediately after.Call for a replacement battery or is this normal? Do i have to reset my battery or something?

Apr 9, 2010I have an ongoing problem with my Droid that apps will crash if they are not used for a period of time. I've been dealing with it so far by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This morning Google Voice started crashing and I was unable to make a call, so I uninstalled Google Voice, made the call I needed to make, and then reinstalled Voice. While going through the setup, the app crashes and force closes when attempting to sign in. This is not the only app I have problems with. The Amazon MP3 service force closes at random times, and it seems every app I install eventually has to be reinstalled because it starts force closing after a period of time. I do all the normal troubleshooting like clearing the cache and restarting the phone, and it usually doesn't fix it. Is this normal for this phone or do I have a bad one? It's really becoming an annoyance...

May 21, 2010I've got a contact in my phone, with a picture. When i receive a message / call from her, it comes up with her Facebook picture, not the one on the phone. The contact is not linked to facebook and i have un-synced facebook. I had lived with it if it was just the picture change, but i also get problems returning messages. It is not picking up the correct number. I have her number as 07.In facebook it's +44. It is using the facebook one and not picking up the "+", so is an incorrect number. It's frustrating the hell outta me, especially as it's the person i text most.

As of now, I seem to be out of luck as to find a charger that will properly charge my phone when away from the normal means of charging. Has anyone used any portable batteries with their Droid? Right now, I have an APC Universal Battery 10WH and it doesn't charge my Droid at all. I am looking at the Just Mobile Gum Pro 4400mAh.
I have found that the Droids are very picky about where they get their charges from. I have a wall to usb and a car usb converter that doesn't work with mine or 3 other Moto Droids but will work with any other device that will charge via USB (iPod, GPS, other phones, etc.) Also, I have seen that the Minty Boost will charge the Droid, but their kits are backordered right now.
