View 8 Replies View RelatedI would like to move my Family Guy episodes and perhaps Caddyshack or any other great movie to my DInc but alas iTunes has shut me down with AAC protection. Some of the other posts I saw suggested using Doubletwist which I downloaded on my Mac and seems like it would work, yet the files are still protected so that doesn't help. Another said to use FairGame to take the DRM protection off of the file so I can transfer them, but that didn't work either. Is there ANY easy answer that won't cost me anything or be difficult to do? Anybody out there already do this on their DInc?

View 10 Replies View RelatedI wanted so show a friend the new Lady Gaga video on my evo. However I noticed it wasn't available for mobile playback as well as a number of other videos. Here is a very simple solution.
Step 1 - You need firefox (if your still on ie, you should switch to firefox anyway)
Step 2 - Install Easy YouTube Video Downloader HERE
Step 3 - Once installed, load up your favorite music on youtube such as Alejandro!
Step 4 - You will now see a new set of links below the video as shown below
Step 5 - Click MP4 and it will instantly start downloading without doing anything else. I have tried the other formats and have found mp4 to be the best for the evo.
Step 6 - Once the video is down downloading, locate the file, connect your evo with data cable, make sure to select disk drive on the screen, open up the removable drive from my computer, make a folder called Videos, drag the file you downloaded to the folder, close the window and disconnect the cable.
Step 7 - Open up your Videos folder under All Aps, you will now see the video there with a thumbnail and you can now play it offline.
Conclusion - The only reason I did this was because some of the videos I couldn't play back via the YouTube app, but it is nice to have them saved so your not using data not that it really matters but will save on battery and loads instantly. I also tried 720P and couldn't get it to play on the evo but I think the MP4 format looks just fine on the evo (depending on the source of course) and it also doesn't take up very much room. Best part it it's VERY FAST to do this, no re-encoding or doing all this other crap to get it to play. It's plug and play.
There's another warez site ripping off the paid versions of my apps from the Google Market(as well as other developers paid apps) - all the usual ignoring stuff when contacting to remove apps. I have to accept that some of my apps get pirated(that haven't used the licensing service & proguard), but What particularly gets my goat about this site, is that the owner is apparently *charging* for full access to the ripped off apps! What i'm wondering is if that's the best way to move movies over? It looks great but the sound seems to be a second behind the video which I wasn't sure is because of the way I transferred it.
I saw people recommend dvdfab, which i've heard of. Does Vcast media manager work as well or does it not matter as long as you use a good converting program?
Also, just bought Blue Ray versions of SWAT, Death Race, Shooter which were newer so there is no digital version. Is there a legal program to copy them to my pc so I can put them on my phone?
