Oct 1, 2010I keep getting a message that installation was unsuccessful (BB.5). Never mind I think it is BB. It thinks I have 2.1 for some reason.

Motorola Droid X : Unable To Find New Google Car Home App
Oct 28, 2010I had recently read about an amazing new Car Dock app pushed out by Google, but when I searched for it on the Android Market, it was nowhere to be found. I then attempted to download it from the web, but all links took me back to the market, where I would receive a 'file not found' message.Did Google remove this app for some reason?

Oct 19, 2010I'm running Cyanogenmod 6. I just noticed that I can't find Google voice or Google maps in the market. I do have the apps installed, but can't see them int he market to get updates. I tried out LFY1.7 and Ultimate Droid 1.0.0, and see the same issue.

Jun 7, 2010Okay so i just flashed the ROM for 2.2 and as i was restoring my apps it fails to install Maps and Goggles. I do have the maps app on my system however, but in the market it says its not installed. As of now im fine with it not being installed but when there is an update there might be a problem. Any ideas?

Aug 6, 2010I'm having a problem downloading Easy Root..I bought it once, refunded it because I didn't have anough money in my account, then bought it again the same day...andnow it finally went through this morning and it says purchased because I got paid this morning...but when I try to click install it says "Download unsuccessful"...I've tried everything to get it to install but it won't work and I can't refund it again. If I could refund it again I would be able to successfully install it like I did with Rom manager and setCPU.

Mar 10, 2010After installing MotoConnect, I found myself unable to mount my device to access the SD card. Now when I plug into usb, absolutely nothing happens. I should clarify by saying, I was able to connect and mount when I first installed the 4.2.0 version of MotoConnect, but this problem started after the program self updated to the 4.5.0 version. Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?

Mar 27, 2010I'm sorry if this has been discussed... my search did not find anything. I installed Swype beta on my Droid during the recent beta invitation, and it suddenly got to the point where it just won't function at all beyond swyping one word. Then it locks up. Although this has happened since installing GDE Home, Swype still locks up when used with GDE closed and running the default home. In general, GDE seems to slow my Droid, but I can't find an explanation for Swype not working. The android keyboard works well in its own right with GDE, but of course it sucks when you're used to Swyping. I'm out of ideas!

Oct 3, 2010I've had this issue since the 2.2 leaks (2.2.9-2.3.15 and now with RubiX) and have finally gotten tired of it. When downloading apps or updates from the market, 1/2 the time it'll finish downloading but then won't install. It just hangs there at 100% and nothing happens no matter how long I leave it there. I have to cancel download and then re-download, sometimes multiple times, before it'll install it automatically. This happens with every app, and while I do eventually get everything install, it will still very annoying. Does anyone else have this issue?

Maps works fine, but when I open the app a pop up shows "unable to load the url", its pretty annoying. How can I get rid of this....clearing the cache and defaults did nothing.

I tried yesterday and got an error that I think said something about a problem w/ the service pack.I tried probably 5x last night to install it from the market but didn't have any luck. Problem #1: When I hit the home button it used to ask if I wanted to go to the home screen or the HTC sense now it doesn't ask, how do I get it to ask again? Problem #2: Which is better to use the home screen or HTC sense? Why? Problem #3: I see that there is a new upgrade but when I go to the system upgrade it tells me my system is up to date? It currently reads V 1.5. I just wish I had a manual that I can just sit down and read and a tutorial to show me all the advantages of this phone over my bb.

Dec 1, 2009I know wi-fi has been mentioned but no one seems to really know. Is there anyone out there who knows why I cannot connect to my wi-fi at home? I have a mac address filter on my router and I put in the correct mac address of my Eris more than once as well and the security settings. I was able to connect my Nintendo DSi with no problem. So when I set up my wi-fi connection, it says it's not in range but remembered. At my job I was able to connect to the wi-fi with no problem. Could it be something with my router? Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or clues.
