I have done this 1000 times, restoring data as well. I recently bookmarked a ton of sites on the last 2.2 with XScope. TiBu BU apps+data. No Bookmarks! I never had to notice before, but I did notice it wasn't carrying over some data to my apps previously.

So I just flashed a new rom and I'm trying to get my xscope bookmarks back. I saved them to my sd card on my last rom but can't figure out how to pull them back off the sd.

View 6 Replies View RelatedAfter using every browser imaginable for the Droid X, I think I've finally settled on one that works the best. Stock, Dolphin HD, Opera and Skyfire all look a little sluggish compared xScope. Throughout most of the other threads suggesting apps and browsers I rarely saw this one get more than a cursory mention, so I thought it would be nice to point everyone towards another option. I'm currently using the lite version, but I'm more than likely going to pony up for the paid to help out the developer and unlock some features.

Dolphin has been a little spotty lately, so I did a quick search to see what, if any, others are out there. That brings me to xScope 2.5. Right now, it doesn't have many features. You can't open something in a new tab or window, for instance. There's no long-press functionality for links and pages yet. But it's lightweight, fast, and has a flawless pinch-to-zoom. For now, I'll be foregoing features for the sake of having this browser work smoothly and quickly. Anyone else tried it? I ponied up the $3 for the full version.

I restored my Nexus 7 and re-synced it with my Google account. But somehow all the bookmarks in the desktop Chrome have disappeared. But the weird thing is the folders still remain. And on my tablet all the bookmarks that are now missing are in the mobile bookmarks section (not in any folder though, all just plopped in there).
How can I revert them all back to there folders?
I Installed Smoked Glass V5.0 from V4.5. I ended up doing it twice, and to make a long story short I lost my files in AK Notebook.
Here's my question:
1. Should I backup my current configuration
2. Then "Restore" my backup prior to upgrade
3. Grab my files (hoping they will be there) toss them on my mac
4. Then just "Restore" back to where I am now?
Need those files by tomorrow, any assistance is much appreciated. It's not that it's an emergency without them, but I will have to do some legwork to gather that info again.
I used Titanium Backup to backup my apps with data and system files. How do I restore those bookmarks and saved pages?

So everyone LOVES dolphin hd...the verdict is out for me...it runs very slow and sluggish..doesn't always feel clicks, doesn't always open bookmarks, and doesn't always recognize text fields. Now by always i mean 95% of the time.
My phone itself is running slow lately period. Launcherpro is maggy, widget locker acts up, swype doesn't always give me the red search dot, and other fun problems.
I am rooted with 2.2. No themes.
I have a folder in Chrome which holds my mobile-friendly bookmarks. How can I move (or copy) this folder's contents into ICS browser's "local bookmarks"?

I was switching roms last night and something didn't go through correctly.I restored my nandroid backup and everything is somewhat back to normal.Ti backup force closes on startup although I still have root. I don't really mind having to sbf, but my question deals with game progress. One game i have in mind is angry birds. Is there a way to save my game progress without using Ti backup.and saved the contents of this folder to a folder on the root of my sdcard. Can I simply overwrite these files after an sbf and clean rom install and maintain my progress? Will this general procedure work for anything? If not, what is the difference between this and "restoring" from ti backup?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo here's a little tip that's part of Froyo (2.2). Backup and Restore. Apparently, if you need to do a factory reset and wipe the phone, by selecting this in your Privacy settings before the reset, your apps and settings will be restored from Google's servers to their previous state without having to do it all manually f. There's more info on the Moto Forum site here. I hope this actually does what it says it does and helps a few folks out.
View 25 Replies View RelatedI installed the 2.2 rom by jrummy, while I was trying to play a flash game (it wasn't optimized) my droid like force closed the game and when I brought it all back up, 3g was gone. I am at home, wifi still works.
