View 2 RepliesIs there a good program to backup your all your apps, files, shortcuts, bookmarks and personal settings. I know Astro has a "backup" function but I don't know what it actually backs up. I know you can back up your contacts Google.
I guess what I'm asking is if there's a way to "clone" your Droid, not just the SD card.
I can't get my bookmarks from Dolphin to load in the bookmarks shortcut. Yes I have the setting for it to do so checked. Is this a known issue or is it me?
View 6 Replies View RelatedAfter Constantly losing certain Links, I came up with what I thought was a "Bright Idea" to Save all my Bookmarks in a Folder on my Homescreen...
But anyways, Now I'm wondering how the Hell am I going to Back them up if I want to Switch Roms or something?
Could Titanium Backup, Back them up?
I need to do a factory reset on my Desire and I want to backup all of my bookmarks stored in the stock browser but I cannot remember how to do so, or if indeed I have done before!
View 5 Replies View RelatedIs there an app to backup and export a listing of all the apps, bookmarks, and widgets currently on your phone? I see many apps that will search though all the current installed apps, for sorting, or organizing, but then it would be good to export this list to e-mail or Google Docs, etc.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the root app Titanium Backup. When I root my friends' phones, I like giving them all my root apps with a quick transfer of my SD card app backups from AppControl.
BUT, I have never been able to find the backup file for Titanium Backup. I realize they can just download it from the Market, but where I work I get no service so I can't download it for hours for them.
Does AppControl or even Titanium Backup itself actually back up Titanium Backup? It seems almost like they skip over the APK because I can never find any backed up APK files that have the words "Titanium" or "Backup" in it. I've never been able to find the file!
I DLed Titanium Backup, but it wasn't obtaining root access. I read here that I probably need to update to a newer version of BB. After a bit of a fight, I finally managed to get BB 0.4 onto my Droid. I figured I was safe b/c I have Lookout, which also backs up data. Yeah, it backs up contacts and pix, that's it. So here I am w/ a nice, shiny new rom, and a completely wiped phone.
Now, I know my old info is still there. I know I could just recover into my last version. But then I wouldn't be on this rom. Is there any way for me to get that info on here, or do I have to do everything manual? Or could I restore the old version, and not need to do a wipe when flashing the new rom?
Man, no matter what I good I start to feel about myself w/ what I've already learned from you guys, I'm quickly reminded that I'm barely scratching the surface.
Is their a rom with livebookmarks or a app that that allows livebookmarks

View 1 Replies View RelatedSeems to be such a simple thing, but I can't figure it out. I switched between thumbnail and list mode, tried setup in each one and don't see any options. In list most, I can tap and hold over the link to bring up options, but there is no option to delete or to move.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'd like to set the homepage of the default browser on my Droid2 to a simple local HTML file. From what I've found this should be possible again, but I can't seem to get it to play nice with me. Is it possible now (without too much monkeying around)? While I'm thinking of it: are the brower's bookmarks saved as a webpage? That might make things more convenient.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have done this 1000 times, restoring data as well. I recently bookmarked a ton of sites on the last 2.2 with XScope. TiBu BU apps+data. No Bookmarks! I never had to notice before, but I did notice it wasn't carrying over some data to my apps previously.

So everyone LOVES dolphin hd...the verdict is out for me...it runs very slow and sluggish..doesn't always feel clicks, doesn't always open bookmarks, and doesn't always recognize text fields. Now by always i mean 95% of the time.
My phone itself is running slow lately period. Launcherpro is maggy, widget locker acts up, swype doesn't always give me the red search dot, and other fun problems.
I am rooted with 2.2. No themes.
I have a folder in Chrome which holds my mobile-friendly bookmarks. How can I move (or copy) this folder's contents into ICS browser's "local bookmarks"?

View 7 Replies View RelatedJust installed the latest update to LPP with the swipe gestures. Its brilliant, it really is. My question is simple really, and I'm sure Ive read a solution somewhere before, but here goes... On the bookmarks swipe gesture, which brings up your bookmarks, how do I make my Dolphin HD bookmarks show, instead of the generic browsers??? In other words, can I import bookmarks from Dolphin to the LPP bookmarks?
View 2 Replies View RelatedLooks like the bookmarks within the Bookmarks Widget are posted in the order that you surf and are NOT subject to any type of sorting. However the bookmarks within the Bookmarks Application launched from the browser's menu are sortable. Is there any way to make these two independent bookmarks list sync with one another. I know there's an application out there to manually sort the widget's bookmarks but I want them sync and match.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI finally got around to getting 2.2 (after having to watch my phone in a bootloop all day since i was in meetings all day). i kept root. all of my other root apps work (shoot me, root explorer, autokiller, etc...) except titanium backup. ti backup says it cant verify root. everything is running like a top, except the one app i REALLY wanna get up and running. anyone come across this or have any ideas? i'm sure its something really simple i'm not thinking of.
View 6 Replies View RelatedWell first of all I jumped in and deodexed and themed my phone before I did a backup, is there any way to undo it? How many backups can you have with titanium, as many as you want? why do people "freeze" the backups?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm looking at buying this. in the description it says the following PRO license key, needs Titanium Backup 3.5.3 or later. Does this mean I need to download something first?
