I recently synced my Facebook contact to my phone so that I could have their Facebook pic as the pic on my phone. I do not want to have all my Facebook contacts in my Phone. I tried deleting them from my phone but it says that I have to delete them from Facebook in order to do so.

View 10 Replies View RelatedThis is hard to explain, but all the videos i show for the droid x shows that when you finger scroll through screen left to right and you get that little thing that pops up on the bottom where you can tap the dots to take you to certain home screens.in that same video i see that the phone arrow for apps and contacts icons move out of site while the dots pop up. until you let go then the navigation dots dissapear and the phone arrow for all apps and contacts icons slide back up.The same thing for deleting an app, when i see someone in the droid x video tap and hold and drag down to bottom to delete the phone, contacts and all apps moves out of the way.

View 4 Replies View Related When I set my phone up it loaded every singe contact from my GMAIL contacts onto my phone. I don't necessarily want all of these clogging up my phone, but when I go to delete them from my phone they also get deleted from my contact list in GMAIL. Also the same with emails. If I delete them on my phone, they get removed from GMAIL inbox.
My old blackberry would give the an option of "delete from phone" or "delete from phone AND gmail".
Having an issue where anytime I try to add a new contact manually for a new phone number or create it using the "create new contact" feature via an old text message by that phone number's owner, my phone automatically deletes it within seconds. This happens only when the sync settings under settings-->accounts & sync-->background information are enabled. The new contact gets deleted regardless whether I add the new contact BEFORE enabling sync or whether I add it WHILE sync is enabled.
Phone's flashed on Gingerbread.
I bought my moto droid about a week ago, but loved it until two days ago . The problem is it keeps deleting my pictures and ringtones, they just go away randomly over the pass two days. Does anyone know how to fix this?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI rooted last night and am using BB .3 My question is are there any good/useful apps that can only be used while rooted? I've already re-installed most of the apps I had before root.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy week old phone seems to randomly select contacts and deletes them from my phone. I have to then log onto the website and go into the synchronisation page and rummage around in the contacts trash to restore them and then re-sync..
I have the Google Sync selected within the Data Synchornisation settings but I have auto synchronisation turned off.
Do I need to change my sync settings or is there a problem?
from my "root" folder i create. the only app that stays on the folder is astro (which does not require root). even if not on a folder, my root apps disappear from any of my home screens. no problems w/ them in the app drawer. running bb v.0.3 but had this problem since bb 0.1.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I just installed Easy Root because I was so disappointed with the new OTA update I just had to do something...So a few questions that I have are what are some must have apps to have with having a rooted Droid 1. Not much seems to be different, I am still having lag time from loading up my icons when I go back to home which was originally my main problem with the update. I have so far just downloaded Rom Manager, Wireless Tether, and Set CPU which is set at 600 mhz Max and 125 Mhz, is that alright? My last question is how do I delete the pre installed apps? Custom Roms, and kernels whats that all about? Sorry for the new bs questions I'm just really lost and have no idea what I am doing.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my DroidX on 7/15 and on 7/16 linked all my phone contacts who have facebook to a facebook contact via social networking. I kike how the phone sets the picture, I like that in the contact entry it shows me thier status on facebook. What I don't like is that when I open up a contac that is both a phone contact and a facebook contact and I tap the facebook icon on the contact screen I get 3 options (view profile, write on wall, and poke). If I open up a contact that is only facebook and tap that same Icon I get 4 options (view profile, message, write on wall, and poke). Is there some reason linking the facebook contact to a phone contact needs to remove that option? I'd like to be able to send a facebook message from the phone to any contact as easy as I can send a text message.
View 3 Replies View RelatedJust wondering if there is an app or a procedure to get your facebook contacts to automatically sync with your phones contacts as well as your google contacts. For instance if you add someone as a friend on facebook and they have their email and phone number filled out in their profile, that information would automatically be added to your phone. Is there a way to do that?

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I have a 3 year old Droid Incredible. The older it gets, the worse it responds to basic tasks. Today, I turned on my phone, only to get several error messages from Google related apps saying they have failed to start.
So I tried clicking on some Google apps, like Google Maps. The icon was replaced by this:
In fact, all of the Google related apps were like this. I tried selecting Google maps, only to get an instant force stop message. Soon afterwards, all of the Google apps disappeared, including YouTube. Google Play and Google Search widget have both been replaced by Failure to Load Gadget messages. I tried looking for any signs of anything Google related, with no luck. I restarted my phone, I cleared caches, and I unmounted and remounted my SD card for some reason. No dice.
I have a stock HTC Incredible. I have done nothing like unrooting to it. What could be the cause of the apps disappearing?
