I happen to be in the market and checking out my downloads and I saw that WBE had an update. Dont know if this is new, but you can skin the widget in different colors. Makes for a much better looking home screen.

I have been using trhe free verison of weatherf since I got my droid and was wondering does WB Elite really add anything worth paying for? in the market it gives a very limited descripion...something about 7 layers.
View 21 Replies View RelatedI've been using Weatherbug Elite since soon after getting the Droid X. I'm running Launcher Pro Plus. I have always been able to resize the map widget of weatherbug to 3x3. Now (since last update I think) the widget sizes to about 2.5x2.5 from the standard 2x2 size. The other .5x.5 is grey screen. Has anyone else been having this problem or know if it can be fixed? I really like weatherbug but would like to fix this.

View 17 Replies View RelatedI have been running WeatherBug Elite for six months without any problem, but the latest update has caused it to fail completely. On Startup of the App it just says "Sorry! The application WeatherBug Elite (process com.aws. android. elite) has stopped unexpectedly, please try again [Force Close]" This is on a LG GW620 (AKA LG Eve in the US I think) which is Android 1.5 Anyone else seeing this error? Any suggestions?

It keeps saying when i refresh weather info unavailable. IS anyone else having this problem? This just started happening yesterday morning prior to that i had no problems with it. The news portion is working fine.

HTC Weather Widget broken?
Mine worked for a day and now I get the location but no weather update.
All other locations display all info fine.
Im in Australia on Vodafone - although from the previous mentioned thread seems to be software related rather than carrier location
The setting will not stay checked and I get alot of no weather data available. Anyone got a fix?

The weather never updates (will show a sunny day at night) and the mail has also stopped updating. Is there a connection? the GPS is on. Sometimes i will get a message on screen saying com.htc.provider has stopped force close? I dont know what that means.
any ideas?

The android widgets only show an analog clock and I can't find any widgets under HTC widgets. Nothing. At all. No widgets whatsoever... Anybody had this issue, can help me out here? I'm waiting for my OTA update and would love to have this fixed before I get my phone updated.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI did a factory reset because i thought it would fix a number of problems i had before and after the 2.1 OTA.
1. HTC's weather app wouldn't update on it's own or manually (sometimes) (not a force close issue)
2. Mobile network issue. Places where i would get 3-4 bars got 1-2 (sometimes 3) and the "D" under 3G mostly changes to the up down arrow. This was on 1.5 and might have to wait maybe another day to see if this continue on 2.1.
3. apps is my main issue. I know all the apps are in the download section on the market and i saved my apps in the SD card but when I reinstalled, scores and profiles from different apps and not there. Is there a way to restore the apps to where there they where before the factory reset instead of the apps acting like it's been just downloaded.
HTC Weather Widget always worked fine. Not sure when it quit but now it is stuck on New York (where I have never had the phone ...), wont display the current location, and wont update the temps.

My first problem is that my swype is not working right anymore. It will let me type, but it will not let me swype. It says that this was configured for a previous version or something. View 2 Replies View RelatedSo since the 2.1 OTA my weather widget will display the city, but no weather icon. if i sync it manually, it will show up. with 1.5 it would update every 3 hours, regardless if i had Background data on or off (i normally keep it off).
so now with 2.1 it wont sync unless i have BG data on, or do it manually. any way around this?
