General :: Google Search Results Page Is Not Working?
Sep 7, 2012When I do a Google Search I am seeing a different screen than most friends. They have tabs for the different categories and the Search Tools on the left. I am seeing the different screen below plus when I click the wrench for search tools because I only want to see results for the last week. I get the screen below. I can't figure out how to change the time option. Clicking it is not working.

Jan 2, 2010Every time I open up my browser, it opens a new window with Google, over the one I had precious been viewing. I'm running Home++ with 2.0.1. Is there an option I can toggle to change this feature back, so the browser will simply pick up where it left off, and not opening a new window?

Jan 5, 2010Using the browser, I am trying to access my companies intranet homepage.When I try to access the link, it usually presents a pop up login box but using the Eris it dows not. I get a page "You are not authorized to view this page" web page..Anyone else have this issue? Is this a limitation of Android? I've tried messing with all the settings and still nothing. No way to Log Into the page.I've even tried using Dolphin Browser, same thing.I believe we use Microsoft Sharepoint and other microsoft back end products

How does it work with SMS/texts?
Will i have to go INSIDE the app in order to send and receive texts? or will it literally replace the built in text functionality on the android phone itself?
If i have to go inside of an app, then this is not for me, i mainly am a huge texter.. and i would like to resume using normal texting procedures not have to go inside of an app.

Aug 12, 2010I'm new to droids and I decided to root my x. Everything was fine until I started deleting bloatware. I deleted something and now my market and all google related programs don't work. Gmail, talk, market, etc. I downloaded all of the original apk's and reinstalled all of them and still nothing. Also after deleting all bloatware everything worked fine until I factory data reset.
When it rebooted that was where the problem started. I'm not an idiot when it comes to these phones and know what I'm doing usually I just deleted something that a list told me was safe to delete and apparently wasn't.hopefully someone can help me out. Oh and I am unrooted now due to bringing it in to verizon to get it warranty'd out. I wanna fix it that way I can sell it to a lucky someone for cheap and no 2 year contact rather than sending it back to motorola.
Motorola Droid :: Google Navigation Working In Area?
Jan 19, 2010I'm on the outskirts of Houston. I was using a Garmin that was quite reliable. I started using the Google Navigation on the Droid and was instantly hooked. I love hearing the actual street names and running it in "satellite" mode, so I can see the actual buildings and scenery. However, over time, I've seen that it gets me to about 6 out of 10 destinations perfectly. The ones it misses are usually at least pretty close, but sometimes I really have to search and sometimes find that it overshot the location by a mile or so, or that the big loop that took ten minutes to complete could have been eliminated by just turning right at "x" and left at "y"...

May 26, 2010The default Browser application on my HTC Hero v1.5 just keeps coming up with the standard "Web page not available" page when I try to connect to any website. This happens when I use GSM, 3G, HSDPA or Wifi to connect.
I generally use Opera Mini to access the web and this works perfectly, it was only when I used the Dolphin Browser (to access a site that doesn't display properly in Opera) that I realised it wasn't connecting and coming up with this message, so I tried the default Browser and realised this had the same issue. I then tried Skyfire and this also did the same!
All other applications are fine and can connect to the internet perfectly well. As I said above the Opera Mini browser works perfectly but this may be to do with it proxying the data so therefore works slightly differently to all the other browsers.
So it seems like something is amiss with my settings / files that the default Browser, Dolphin and Skyfire use.

Some hyperlink item on this page are un-clickable, such as "Upload Upgrade", "Replace this image", and "add language". However it's work correctly on Fire-Fox browser. Jan 18, 2010I was waiting for Passion for months after reading posts here, literally coming here every day for rumor confirmed, but you all know that's history now. In the stock browser I can turn page by flicking finger on the screen, but isn't using hardware rocker much more precise? Is there a way to do that? In dolphin the rocker sort of does that, but it makes an annoying beep as well. I can turn off sound beforehand to avoid that, but it's easy to forget to turn up sound afterwards. I migrated from HTC 6800 (WM6), the rocker smartly only changes volume when using the phone, while in other situations it smartly turns page instead. Can Droid be up to that?
