When I go to some forums on the internet I can never figure out how to get back to my Home internet page. Instead of always pressing the back button to get there is there an easier way to do it? I do not mean my home screen on the phone but rather my internet home page.

When I go to the internet it doesn't always go to my set home page. It will open with the last page I was on. Am I closing the connection wrong and have the internet still running?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the tronsmart CX-919 mini pc running 4.2 and there is an issue with the browser reverting back to the home page or the previous page. When I try to display a webpage on our intranet it reverts back to the homepage or previous page after about 3 hours. I need it to display constantly. I read somewhere that it was a Download Manager issue and disabling it would work but I can't find where to disable it. Also it was stated that Flash was an issue but i tried uninstalling it and it just reinstalled itself and the problem kept occurring. I just want to display a page in a browser and for it to stay on the screen (full screen) until I manually navigate away from it. I plan to leave it on for weeks at a time.

View 9 Replies View RelatedNot sure how to properly describe this but bear w/me. I'm running OTA 2.2 on a no-rooted, stock phone. No problems w/ phone what-so-ever until this morning. This morning, when I go to, let's say People or Mail or X-Scope etc, if I either hit the Back or Home button to get back to my Home screen the 2nd HTC boot screen comes up briefly (the one w/ the green HTC letters, then a blank Home screen w/ the "Loading" message briefly appears after which the screen repopulates itself w/ my icons as normal. This is happening in all applications when I hit Back or Home to return to Home. So far I've pulled the battery twice but I still have the problem. Phone is fully charged. Is this what would be considered the Forced Closing problem?

Is there an option I can toggle to change this feature back, so the browser will simply pick up where it left off, and not opening a new window?

Well when I got home, I attempted to re-enable my 3g internet and it won't connect, even the 3g icon is not in the status bar.My Droid is with Page Plus if that helps.Can someone please help me out with this. It FCed in edit mode, while editing a custom tray, and now (for the past several hours), I can't get it to stop it's FC loop. I've pulled the battery, and when I try to boot into safe mode by holding the keypad menu button down while powering up the phone, after a point the phone vibrates, and restarts.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just got my first android phone, the droid x yesterday. Loving it so far but I've got a minor issue that drives me insane (even though it really is a non issue). I've got the volume keys on the right, and then the home and back keys at the bottom front. Whenever I click home or back, they do the home and back function, but also do volume up and volume down with every click. Its painfully annoying, because it vibrates and pops up the volume window over the top of everything, every time. And obviously, the home and back keys are two of the most clicked buttons on the phone, so its constantly going up n down. I think this also adds to battery drainage as its double functioning/working twice as much. Does anyone know of a way to disable the home lkey and back key from controlling my volume as well?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had my Moto Droid since it basically came out last Nov and I have never ever run into a problem with the phone until last night. I had a phone call and after I got off the phone, I noticed my droid reseted itself and it wasn't going back to the home screen. Meaning it would just display the word "Droid" then go right into the droid red eye screen, then right back to the word Droid and just kept repeating itself.
I took the battery out and put it back in, but it kept doing the same thing. I am really not sure what would cause my phone to do this, but the only new change I can think of was that I installed the "TMZ" application to my droid about 3 hours prior to this happening. But the application worked fine and I really hope it wasn't because of that. Is there anything I can do before going to Verizon? I would really hate giving up my phone with all my stuff in it, but I know theres probably not much I can do if I cant even get to the home screen.
Sometimes with the home or back button not responding at times? Kind of like a freeze where u have to press the buttons a couple of times then they will respond. Also, have you noticed that sometimes that pressing the power button will not wake the phone up? And when my phone call ends, it takes a while for the screen to come back from black so I can end the call. Should I get an exchange for my phone or are these issues supposed to be resolved with the update coming?

Whenever I back out of a screen mainly txt msg, I get something highlighted in orange, and when I back out into the home screen it does the same thing. Usually it highlights either the phone shortcut or the wifi icon in my power bar.

I have a .PDF I would like to put possibly on one of my home screens as a shortcut. I plugged my Cliq into my computer and put the document in the memory card, but can't navigate to it through the phone. The only way I can find this file is if I open up Beamreader.
