Motorola Droid X :: Cannot Get Gmail Calendar To Sync With Android Calendar
Nov 8, 2010I have a droid x and cannot get the gmail calendar to sync with my android calendar. Can use the mobile web version but not the phone calendar so thus i am not getting reminders, etc. Already installed the google outlook calendar sync app but that is still not linking my gmail calendar to my phone.

Nov 18, 2009Ideally I would lie my work meetings to pop-up in the calendar on my droid.I cannot install google calendar at work thanks to a picky IT department.So, what I have done, is forward my emails/appointments to a secondary gmail i created for work use, that i can then sync on my personal laptop.my problem is that, my phone was setup using my primary(personal)gmail and the calendar program will not let you add a different email other than the one they setup for me when i created the phone.how can I change the primary email on my phone to the one i set up for work so I can sync that one with the calendar.

I don't have Outlook so I'm looking for another way to do this. Making your events on your phone can be tedious so it's just easier for me to put them in Gmail calendar.

Aug 10, 2010I have two gmail accounts. My primary works find on my DX. I have shared my second calendar with my primary and my appointments for both show up fine online, and in my DX calendar list, it says my second calendar is on there, but nothing is showing up. I've tried adding new appointments both on device and computer, but they don't sync for that calendar.
Am I missing something? Or does anyone know of a calendar app that will sync with a second gmail calendar?

Jan 27, 2010I deleted my gmail calendar as I was trying to use outlookt sync. Initially this worked fine, but after a few weeks I can no longer sync my calndar - I've tried everything and I"m done. It seems using my google account is easier. So, having said that, since I deleted the gmail calendar, I went into "manage apps" and cleared everything associated with gmail, including my calendar. I then asked me to set up gmail again, and I did. I hoped this would bring the calndar back, but it didn't. So now I'm left without a gmail calendar to sync with.

With Android, that seems to have changed; - Corporate Exchange - no problem, invites come in, i can accept - Personal domain (.com) w.email, i cannot accept invites/requests to be registered to the phone calendar - Gmail email - also, no go. not even to the gmail calendar. Nov 25, 2009I am on my third exchanged phone for a variety of reasons I have a 41/09 device that is repeatedly crashing whenever I try to compose an email with the native gmail app.I have duplicated it over and over again. There is a lot of debate as to whether these crashing phones are experiencing a hardware or a software problem.This seems like a software problem, and could be related to how the new 2.0 OS deals with memory, etc.I would like to think that an software update would fix it.There is no doubt that Verizon and Google are aware of the high number of phones that crash software.I bought my phone at Walmart, and they are about done with my replacement requests. My store and the next closest store who sells Verizon is out of the Droid.
