Why does the phone say PAIRED BUT NOT CONNECTED? How do i connect it to the other phone. To be more specific the other phone is the ERIS. So is it even possible to send songs, pics, etc to other phones from the DROID? And can the ERIS even accept bluetooth file transfers?

My Droid shows my Mac computer under Bluetooth Settings > Bluetooth Devices >. I can see it listed and it says "Paired but not connected". I then, on my Mac under the BT control panels, see "Droid" listed and it is also "paired but not connected."
Well, when I tell my Droid to "connect" via Bluetooth Settings > Bluetooth Devices > press my computers name (or long press and select "Connect") it grays out and says "connecting" and then my computer shows it as "connected". But, in a few seconds, the Droid reverts back to "Paired but not connected" and the Mac then also goes back to showing the Droid as "Not Connected".
I want to try this app that allows me to use my speaker and mic on my Mac to take and place phone calls, via BT, on my Droid - but I can't get the 2 to stay "connected" via BT. They pair, but wont connect. It pairs perfect with my car instantly every time.
is it just me or does the droid not like my bluetooth headset? its paired and everything and the phone is connected but the headset is not being used. i tried accessing the voice dial on my headset and nothing happens i try calling someone on my droid and the sound comes out of the speakers not the headset.

I'd want to utilize this for PDAnet and file transfer if possible but hit a brick wall since it won't connect. I'm wondering whether this is something on the computer side of things, I've never done it before (because the hero would never be discovered on bluetooth) so I am curious as to how to proceed.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have paired the Moment with my car and have been able to make/receive calls. Sometimes it takes five or ten minutes to connect. Lately, it hasn't connected at all. I tried deleting the phone and re-pairing it, but that did not help. Yes, Bluetooth is ON. The car is listed on the Moment, stating "Paired but not Connected." Any ideas?

If your Bluetooth headset works great with the Moment (e.g. connects consistently, good sound quality, etc.) Please post the manufacturer and model in this thread. Likewise, if your headset stinks, that is probably good information also, so post that too.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've only had my droid for about three weeks now and would like to take everything off of my old SD card and utilize the 16gb card but I can't figure out how to do so. I have a MacBook, and when I had my Blackberry Curve and connected that to the Mac, it messed up pretty much anything media related and prevented me from accessing the sd card (if I remember correctly, it was a while ago and I certainly didn't try to do it again). From the looks of some of the forums, there have also been problems connecting the Droid to Mac's so I'm afraid to do that. Does anyone know if this is still the case? I'm at a loss at how to get the stuff onto my phone or the new sd card.

View 2 Replies View RelatedFound a few threads about people having problems transferring their phonebook to their hands free kit in their automobile. Had the same problem myself - was able to connect and pair with the car kit. I was able to make and receive calls, but didn't have the phonebook.
Then yesterday, while setting in the car, I was going to re-pair the connection between the phone and car I noticed that in the Notification Bar that the car was asking permission to receive the phonebook from the phone. Opened the Notification and granted permission and clicked on always grant access (or something similar). Phonebook was then transfered. Haven't had a problem with it since...
I had my Droid connected to my car's AUX via typical cable/jack. Various songs were skipping. They weren't skipping the day before, just since yesterday.
It only skips when it is connected via jack or Bluetooth to another player.
If i just listen to the Droid without connecting to anything else, it doesn't skip.
I'm Sure it can be done, but how...?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I had my Voyager, I could use my bluetooth earpiece to talk on the phone, and also get the audio from the Navigation to come through the earpiece. I was surprised tonight that when I was using my GPS on the Droid it didn't come through my earpiece which resulted in me turning my radio down significantly so I could hear the phone.
I also have a stereo bluetooth headphones that I already paired and see the icon on the screen, but when I play a video or some music, it doesn't come through the headphones. Its still coming out of the Droid's phone speakers. Its showing that it is connected in my notifications bar too.

When I turn the car on, I want to transfer from the phone to the bluetooth in the car/nav. unit.If I'm in my car, I can call/receive phone calls fine, but I can't figure out how to transfer a call to my car bluetooth, when I get in and I'm ready to drive off. If I click on the Finder Button and look at the left side, my S3 isn't recognized or it isn't there so I cannot Eject it. And I found out that It's connected just on the Android File Transfer .. so How do I eject it then? Android File Transfer doesn't have an eject button anywhere.

It says transferring but nothing ever happens, just seems to show the revolving circle on my BT showing it is working but that is all. Battery seems to drain pretty fast in the car now too like this. Is there something I am doing wrong here causing the phone book to not transfer?
