So this is particular to the Droid because my friend has the Droid Eris and doesn't have this problem at least not to the extent that I do. But I have been a fan of home++ for awhile but the FC's are getting pretty old. I mean it does it at least 5-10 times a day. Today I got sick of it and finally uninstalled.

On the car dock the "Car Home" was default to the home key on the Droid. If I backed out of Car Home to get to an app or something, I would just touch the Home key and it would get me back to car home.

In fact, I've removed all beautiful widgets from all my home screens and home screen replacement apps. Yet for some reason I get the weather thing in my status bar as if I had Beautiful Home running. Which means it's somehow being run without being told to. And it only does this with Sweeter Home.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI like switching between the stock home and Launcher Pro and ADW. Since the 2.2 update, when I use a home switcher to use one of the replacements, my phone defaults back to the stock home screen when I hit the hardware home button on the bottom of my Moto Droid. Is there a setting I am missing to change this. Even when I select the replacement as "default" using the Home Switcher, it still reverts back to the stock one when I hit that home button.

It usually happens when I'm texting or using the Messaging widget on the home screen and today it has been happening very often!! Starting to get annoying.
I have a non-rooted Droid 2 and the Desk/Home dock. When I first tried it out, it worked as expected-starting the home dock screen when placed in the dock. However, I now find that whenever I dock the droid, the notification bar shows that it is connected to the multimedia dock but it does not start the dock application. I used Astro to browse the /system/apps folder and found the Dock app- clicked on Open App manager and then Launch at which point I get a message saying "Activity not found com.motorola.dlauncher". I don't know if this is why nothing is happening when I dock the Droid but can anyone tell me why this suddenly stopped working and what I can do to get it working again?
View 15 Replies View RelatedThis is more of an annoyance, but whenever I reply to a message off the home screen widget, it automatically defaults to the home number for that contact, instead of replying to the same (cell) number that it was sent from. If I go into the messaging app, it works as it should (replies to the same number).

View 18 Replies View RelatedSo I have Launcher Pro, and I don't always want to use it but I want to every now and than, so I downloaded Home Switcher. I have Regular home set as default, and it shows it is. But when I hit home it always goes to Launcher Pro. I have checked under Applications to make sure it wasn't set as default or anything and it is not. So my question is anyone else having this problem? Or does anyone know how to fix this without just un installing Launcher Pro and reinstalling every time i want to use it?

When I am docked/car home mode and answer a call, shouldn't the call automatically use speaker phone (unless bluetooth connected)? Also, in car home, why not be able to answer a call with a button press instead of a slide? Finally, why isn't the phone screen rotated?
It seems to me, if I am car docked and I need to swipe and switch on speaker phone, the purpose of having a car home is defeated.
I cleared the defaults to gde for home because i thought it was causing one of my widgets to quit working turns out it wasnt so now i cant figure out how to open gde and set it back as default home i emailed the dev but havent heard back

View 4 Replies View RelatedI don't know if this is like a default option but i've found thet my X's entire OS goes into landscape mode, including app tray, browser, apps, everything. I haven't downloaded any apps that do this and while its in this mode it wont rotate back to portrait. The only way I could change it back is by rebooting. I haven't found a way to voluntarily recreate this, it just happens, maybe by a certain combination of keys,but I'd like to know how to recreate this. I'm sure its probably really obvious so forgive me for my obliviousness
View 5 Replies View RelatedI started rooting on SPRecovery with Nandroid and all was lovely, then I decided to start using ROM Manager. After the first time I got the repeating M start up. I then flashed it back to stock and got all of my stuff back. My only problem is that now the Android Home crashes anytime it starts, though Launcher Pro is fine and working awesomely. I also can't bring up recovery, it shows the phone with the gigantic "!" over it.
