Media :: Moto Droid Video Not Play On Eris
May 4, 2010I took a video on my Moto Droid, and sent it to my friend on his Eris. He downloaded the file from Gmail and but when goes to play the file, it states that the video is not supported. We have tried converting it to a .mp4 and it will not play either, even with a couple of App's from the Marketplace same result. Yet I thought the droid/Eris both supported .3GP? Works fine on his PC with Quicktime, and the video plays fine on my Droid. Is it because I took it in Hi-Res mode, and the Eris does not support that screen resolution? Or did we screw something up?

Oct 31, 2010Nfl mobile plays fine on my phone Moto droid 1 (2.2). Then on my sons phone it says he has to pay. I never had to pay on my phone. He has the same exact phone as i do. And on the same plan.

When I go to change the notification ringtone in the settings, the ringtones that I have on the SD card don't show up, only the stock ringtones show up. I have tried the main settings, Handcent SMS settings, and the defualt Messages settings. Nothing works. I have uninstalled and re-installed Handcent but that didn't help either.

Sep 18, 2010I'm not a software developer, but I have done enough reading online to get the Android SDK, Eclipse, and the necessary downloads to get it all working.
I am able to capture device screenshots using the DDMS, but I need to capture full motion video of the system OS and apps for an Android TV commercial.
So far I've called the manufacturer and several software guys, but haven't had any luck. I've even tried the HDMI out, but it's not pixel accurate, which is very important.
There has to be a way to do this, since the apps are featured in other commercials and videos, and I don't believe that the only way to do it is to film the device's screen.
No matter how complex the answer and solution to this might be, I'd love to find out. Even if it means bringing on someone to execute it.
It needs to be at least a 20-30 fps capture.
HTC Droid Eris :: Full Volume On Media Player - Output Very Low
Nov 11, 2009I listen to Pandora on the Eris and podcasts on the HTC provided media player. At full volume with earphones, the volume is still quite low, much lower than what my blackberry puts out, and not very good. Any way to up the volume besides the side volume rocker? Would a different media player application give me a better volume output or is it a problem built into the phone?

Aug 4, 2010I was able to install Android 2.2 and Falsh Player 10.
I've got Froyo and Flash Player 10.1 but what can I do with them? None of the Flash sites that I use actually work.
Hulu doesn't work - yes I have my AUString set to desktop not mobile.
MLB Live pitch by pitch (the free one with the animated batter showing pitch location) doesn't work either! The mobile version works but it isn't nearly as good as the flash player version.
Anybody know how to make Hulu work or any other cool flash player web sites? I'm not into games at all. No reason to watch little bits of movies or tv shows either. I do have TV.com but that only shows one of the TV networks.
Motorola Droid X :: Stuck At Moto Symbol Screen After 2.2
Sep 22, 2010I updated this morning, but after the update it stuck at the 'Motorola' symbol after the reboot. I had to reboot the phone 5 times to get it work and it was fine; however, i just installed flash and have rebooted 5 times and the phone screen is still stuck at the Motorola symbol upon restart. I can hear emails coming in and i can turn the screen on and off but no go. Looks like I am going to Verizon.
