Is anyone having stability issues with Google goggles on their Droid 2? It seems to always freeze when I attempt to take a picture or just becomes unresponsive to commands. More often then not, when I take a picture, it simply gets stuck with the loading symbol (red spinning circle) displayed.

For those who haven't tried it download the app. This thing is addicting. As long as the image isnt glossy it seems to do pretty well.

So I go onto appbrain.com and find the app on there and download it so i can install it on my phone. When I click the install on my phone it takes me, back to the marketplace saying it can not find google goggles. Can anyone please help me with this?
View 6 Replies View RelatedGoogle has released a Search by Sight application using the camera to detect and search! Search By Sight With Google Goggles. Unfortunately the fine print reads "Available on phones that run Android 1.6+ (i.e. Donut or Eclair)" so we'll have to wait until the 2010 update that @HTC promised. Still pretty exciting technology here! Maybe by the time we get it, the bugs will be worked out. It's a labs product still after all.
View 12 Replies View Relatedi had problems trying to load/flash UD1. i could not wipe my factory data. my phone would reboot before i could wipe my data not sure what was going then eventually i was able to wipe my data and flash UD1.now i want to flash a different kernel. and now i'm having the same problem before i can install the ZIP from my SD card myphone reboots. and if i can get to the menu before my phone reboots.it says my sd card is not mounted.whats up with that?is there any way to flash a kernel without going through the recovery screen?

Does anyone know if there is a google goggles API for Android? If not, is there one coming any time soon? With an API for this thing the possibilities are endless... So far all I've been able to find on this subject is a discussion about not currently having a version for the iPhone due to it's "google labs" status (iPhone version coming once it's more "complete"). I'm hoping an API may be released then. Anybody have any info on this at all?

The application Goggles (process com.google.android.apps.unveil) has stopped unexpectantly. Please try again. and it asks me to Force close. I do. I have even rebooted my phone a couple times and looked for updates. no luck. Should I uninstall and reload? How do I uninstall?

The first sounds comes when the capture button is pressed, and the second sound comes as soon as the picture is taken. I don't hear these noises when taking pictures through the regular camera app. It sounds like it's coming from inside the phone.

These are my own shots taken with a DSLR, they are printed and hanging and I used my Captivate to photograph them off the wall. The first one I instantly re-tagged because I didn't realize the exact name of what I photographed. - Wifi unstable, wifi only connect 3-5 minutes is disconnected, after that, 10 seconds is back connect. @@.
- I occasionally play pes2012 thrown out.
I using Kernel: Night-eft RC2 , ROM K15.
I have had the phone since yesterday and notice that when the phone is charging (USB or wall) and I'm trying to do stuff(surf the internet or play with any of my programs), the phone does crazy stuff. It will just start executing the search and other buttons on my phone without me even touching them. The phone doesn't appear to do this when it's not charging. Another problem I've noticed is that the capacitive buttons on the bottom are unresponsive in general. I'll sometimes have to hit the back button a couple times for it to recognize that I hit it.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI updated my AT&T Galaxy S3 to Android 4.3 a few weeks ago.
Ever since then, I routinely get a notification that says "Your Internet Connection is Unstable".
It seems to happen each time I turn my bluetooth connection on.
Phone on > connected to my home wifi (2.4 gHz) > bluetooth is off > turn bluetooth on > get the "internet connection unstable" message.
If I keep my bluetooth off, then I never get this notification.
I have already wiped the cache partition as noted from thread [URL]...
It's been 9 days since i bought my galaxy wonder.Its battery is too weird for 3 days.Because 3 days ago 2.5 hours passed until %98.Now once i unplug its charger, it downs to %84 in 2.5 hours
Why is it too unstable? I didn't calibrate. (If that means charging it 12 hours after it discharged for the first time, i didn't do it.May it be the reason?)
BTW, important note : All settings are off (Wi-fi,bluetooth,gps,syncronization) and screen brightness is about %30 or %35 i guess.I don't even use live wallpaper and only widget i use is battery widget.(A simple widget 100 kb)
I've recently got a a Tattoo and it is mostly fine (apart from the ridiculously hard to remove battery cover!). But the thing that is driving me nuts is how unstable HTC Sync is. I have uninstalled, re-installed on the PC and phone and had to delete all contacts on the phone once to "cleanse" and still every time I go to sync my calendar and contacts something goes wrong. Duplicates contacts and calendar entries in the phone and and on my PC! My work phone is windows and active sync is a dream compared to this!
