I have downloaded apps, but they won't show up in my list of apps. My wife did it the exact same way and hers show up in her list of apps. Why won't my apps show up in my app list?

Re signed into my google account.Went to market, went to my downloads, saw large list of my apps that should have been downloaded. Went to bed. Woke up this morning, and none of my apps are on my home button.Went back to market, has about 2/3 of my apps saying 'starting download', another 1/3 saying 'installing'.But this has been 8 hours and nothing is actually installed. If I go to an app that says starting download, I can cancel it, then hit install button, and it installs. But I don't want to do this for like 30 apps if I don't have to.Also have tried a reboot, but so far, nothing better.I am connected to home wifi, so good speed. Before I got replacement phone I wiped my bad phone to see if it would help, and apps came back within an hour.

I can also add an application widget to the home page and select Google Sky in its settings as the app to launch. Why doesn't it show up in the list of applications (The icon-based list you get when pressing the triangle-in-a-circle icon from the home page)?

View 1 Replies View RelatedOn a few apps I have downloaded I am unable to actually open the app. The app does not show up in my apps list and when I open it in the marketplace it says it's installed but the "open" button is grayed out. Anyone know if I'm doing something wrong or if it's an app error? This has only happened on about 4 apps I've downloaded. The most recent one is BatterLife.

On my HTC Legend, when I download podcasts using Listen, BeyondPod, or Dpod, the downloaded .mp3 files are not visible on the android music player widget. Nor are they visible on btunes, even if I enable the audio books/podcasts features on btunes and hard-set the sdfolder path to where the .mp3 files are stored. On the music widget, I do see an empty "podcasts" playlist, but if I tell it to update, I get a "force close" error. Any ideas?

When i look at downloads on the browser it will show only the picture you clicked on as being in the gallery, but as soon as you open the regular gallery outside the browser download menu... it wont show up. I have spent a couple of hours trying to delete the theme from my Droid but cannot seem to find where it was downloaded to on my phone. It is not under the application manager. View 3 Replies View RelatedI went to Google Labs and looked around and found Places Directory. The page shows a barcode and said I could scan that and download the app so that's what I did. My browser opened up and showed that the file was downloaded.
So I went back to the home screen but couldn't find Places Directory. I decided to manually download and install it from the market and that worked fine.
My question is, do I now have a downloaded copy of this app that is just sitting somewhere taking up space? I can't figure out where files downloaded by the browser go to, please help.
