Is it POSSIBLE to take mp3's downloaded on limewire (on a laptop) and put them on my Droid? If so, could you explain it to me like you would a slow 2nd grader ,cause I am not that tech savvy.

I don't have the skills for developing, but here's an interesting idea. How about a program that let's g1 users login and download(FREE) music from other g1 users phones, so in theory, everysong on anyones g1 is accesable in this program and can be downloaded for free straight onto ur sd card, it could have a connection chart IE, wifi,3g,g,edge. I think this would kick ass, and would be totally awesome. What do u think?

When i look at downloads on the browser it will show only the picture you clicked on as being in the gallery, but as soon as you open the regular gallery outside the browser download menu... it wont show up. I have spent a couple of hours trying to delete the theme from my Droid but cannot seem to find where it was downloaded to on my phone. It is not under the application manager. View 3 Replies View RelatedI went to Google Labs and looked around and found Places Directory. The page shows a barcode and said I could scan that and download the app so that's what I did. My browser opened up and showed that the file was downloaded.
So I went back to the home screen but couldn't find Places Directory. I decided to manually download and install it from the market and that worked fine.
My question is, do I now have a downloaded copy of this app that is just sitting somewhere taking up space? I can't figure out where files downloaded by the browser go to, please help.

Re signed into my google account.Went to market, went to my downloads, saw large list of my apps that should have been downloaded. Went to bed. Woke up this morning, and none of my apps are on my home button.Went back to market, has about 2/3 of my apps saying 'starting download', another 1/3 saying 'installing'.But this has been 8 hours and nothing is actually installed. If I go to an app that says starting download, I can cancel it, then hit install button, and it installs. But I don't want to do this for like 30 apps if I don't have to.Also have tried a reboot, but so far, nothing better.I am connected to home wifi, so good speed. Before I got replacement phone I wiped my bad phone to see if it would help, and apps came back within an hour.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI was running CM6, but I had heard some people saying they were getting even better performance from stock 2.2, so I thought I'd give it a try. I downloaded a 2.2 ROM using ROM Manager and it said I could get a rooted or non-rooted version. The only option I was given was to select Superuser Permissions, which seems to be an app but I don't know how to use it. I know for sure I don't have root anymore. How do I get root back? Is there an easy way to simply restore from the nandroid backup I did prior to this? I don't have clockworkmod recovery anymore. I tried to reflash it but I can't because I don't have root.

I've had SholesMod 2.05 on my phone and haven't loaded any other Roms, did I lose root somehow and if I did how come ROM Manager doesn't re-root? I can still get into recovery by power+x.

For me the problem would fix itself after opening and closing the hard keyboard a couple of times. But after I downloaded SweeterHome preview 2 they won't light up at all.
