Android :: Removing Default Interpolator For Xml Based Animation Effects For Views
Apr 9, 2009When ever I try to animate a view using a simple xml based animation, it seems to have default interpolator set of some kind as the motion is not truly linear.
Is there a way to set the default animation interpolator to linear and remove the lag in the start/end of the animation.

Jul 2, 2010I am facing in Android display system(Video Rendering using Surface Flinger Native APIs).
As for my understanding, Android display system relies on Surfaceflinger library( a system wide screen composer). Surfaceflinger runs as a service along with Mediaserver service, Camera service, Audioflinger and these services interact with each other through Binder APIs at native level. If any user application wants to access SurfaceFlinger native APIs, it requires Surfaceflinger Access permissions.
My requirement is that I want to create a SurfaceView at the JAVA level (Android Application level) and render video data to that Surface, means, pass video data to the Surface flinger library by invoking native Surface Flinger APIs. But, because of Permission Problems, I am not able to invoke Native Surface Flinger APIs from Application Layer.
Is there any ways to invoke Surface Flinger Native APIs from Application Level ?
General :: Video Camera Effects On Alcatel OT 6030X?
Apr 11, 2014an Alcateo OT 6030X (which is known around here as Orange San Remo - I'm from Romania). I just bought the phone a few days ago from someone, and while everything seemed fine at first, I came across a problem with its video camera.
When I switch to video, I get an icon on the top of the screen that allows me to select some video effect [big moth, big eyes, stretched face], but when I activate one of them, the camera just freezes, and sometimes the whole phone too. I tried a full factory reset the other days and everything worked correctly until last night. I even checked that specific feature yesteday morning and it was working perfectly, but last night it just froze again. I did install some apps I commonly use yesterday, so my suspicion is that one of the apps is to blame. I have attached the details of my phone, as well as all the apps I currently have.

Mar 4, 2010I have encoded several videos to mp4. All of these videos played fine on on my phone until yesterday. Now none of them will play correctly. The default video player says "The video could not be played" and Act 1 says "Video is falling behind audio. It may be too much data for your phone to process, or may not be supported by Android" What gives? They play correctly on my wife's droid. I haven't downloaded any new apps since they played correctly. I have killed all apps to make sure I have enough memory. What could have changed? I have followed the instructions given on the forums to encode video to a T.

First of all, is there any way to play DIVX and XVID on an android phone WITHOUT converting? Do you need some particular paid application from the market or you can do it with the default player? Another question: lot of my movies are quite big in resolution (you know the normal size that you use for pc's). Is there any need of resizing the movie to let it play on an android phone? I used to have a samsung omnia (rip); winmo sucked badly but it can play any video at almost any resolution very smoothly with free players also.
Media :: Since 2.2 Phone Won't Play Video's
Oct 19, 2010Since the 2.2 update for most phones, I've noticed that my 2.1 (Samsung Moment) won't stream video's now. Before video's would stream over my connection, however 2.2 comes out and know I keep getting error's or programs just shut down. Is this just a case of host programs switching to the new android format?

Sep 9, 2010I am running a version of pl3x on my Moto Droid. I am not able to play any video (even youtube via the app). I have tried both the main player and kmplayer. I actually first noticed this earlier today when trying to play a video on youtube (it worked yesterday). I have run into this in the past and wrote it off as the rom (I do not remember which one I was running at the time) but restoring from an old backup followed by install of pl3x fixed it. I am really looking for an option other than flashing my phone again since it seems to happen multiple times on multiple roms.

Somebody sent me a video (from new samsung fascinate) and when I tried to watch it I only got audio. I have the arcmedia app, which allows me to watch the video, but I think the audio is messed up.
