Jelly Bean :: Samsung S3 USB Device Connected Not Recognized

My Samsung s3 phone says usb device connected not recognized when i connect to any PC even though other phones similar to mine does connect. i have tried many tricks from different sources but it still doesn't work. when i connect it in the custom mode by starting the phone with pressing Home/power and volume buttons it is recognized and says device ready to use but the moment i swict the phone in normal mode it goes back to not recognized.

I tried to load Cyanogenmod on my galaxy nexus. unfortunately I had copied one of the nightly update files instead of a stable version. so the install did'nt work and I did a factory reset from recovery mode. Now the computer doesn't even recognize my phone any more, when I connect it via USB. and my phone is stuck on the google screen when I try to turn it on.

I have a Coolpad 8720L with its own interface built upon 4.3 Jelly Bean. It's not very good, and I'd like to install stock Android instead. How do I do this?
I heard that I have to root the device, and then find a ROM for stock Jelly Bean to load onto the device?

I just flashed a custom ROM for my first time to my Samsung S4(SPH-L720). Unfortunately I have everything working except my PC will not see my phone anymore. The phone says connected as a MTP device but I cannot see it in my computer to transfer files back and forth.
ROM- Google play edition for sph-l720
*Reinstalled drivers and kies to no avail.

I have samsung galaxy nexus with android 4.2.1 .. I install Kies driver in windows 7 (on my laptop) , but my computer cannot recognize my phone. the phone is charged and when the phone plug in to my computer, sometimes the phone shows the message of USB Debugging connected and connected as a media device in top of screen and shows the pic of these but after a second again this message remove. My computer cannot shows my phone like a usb and i can't go to my sd card of my phone via my computer.
in some days later, my computer can recognize my phone but when i install Intellij , my computer can not recognize phone. I unistall kies and again i install this but when the install complete my computer shows a picture like this
My phone recognize in a mili second and afer unrecognized! my problem is for my cable phone?

I have a new Lenovo S750 with Android 4.2.1.
I always managed my contacts in outlook and stored with international prefixes (even "local" numbers).
The incoming calls don't get a contact because the number stored with the international prefix is not matched.If I edit the contacts and remove the prefix, then I get a match but this is no option for me.I already tried to update the prop file with ro.phone.min_match=9 but no result.

I have a Nexus 4 running stock Android 4.3, rooted. I like to use Google Now voice control in the car, but I can never get the command "navigate to work" to work.
I have my work address saved in Google Maps as "work," just like I have my home address saved under "home." The "navigate to home" voice action works perfectly: it always pulls up directions to my home. The "navigate to work" voice action NEVER works, it always pulls up Google search for the phrase "navigate to work."
I need the functionality because I require directions to work often.
PS I can search "work" in Google Maps and it does pull up my work address.

how come it loads slow accessing my phone/memory card items when connected to any PC, even using usb 3.0 cable or 2.0 cable, my SD card is a sandisk class 10 from my gopro so its not the sd card. and the way you view pictures is also different, example, in windows you can click on a picture in the folder and use the arrow keys on your keyboard to scroll through the pictures using left and right, but when trying to do that with the pictures connected through the phone i can't, and i cant edit pictures on the phone with right click like in windows as well.
my old g2x wasn't like this, access was just like viewing any other item on windows fast speed and able to edit picture files still on the phone,this is on a Galaxy Note 3 btw.

Google Now starts itself whenever I connect my headset to my note 3. Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Yesterday I upgraded by Galaxy S3 to Android 4.3 (ATT network) and now I keep getting the same 10 documents listed under Notifications as "Download Compete". I click clear and the notification keeps coming back (about an hour later). When I try to open the document I get a message saying the documents aren't on the device. Which makes sense because these are items I downloaded a year or so ago. how to stop it besides going back to the old version?

I'm getting this error when trying to update my system on my Samsung Galaxy Grand GT-I9082.
My current version is 4.1.2 and I want to update to 4.2.2, but I keep getting that error. I tried wiping the cache. My device has never been rooted. I bought my phone new and packaged and I did not root it. The status says that it's custom and I can't figure out how to solve this. I've read around that removing the SD card and updating works, but I don't have a SD card in my phone.I go to the Settings -> About Device -> Software Update -> Update.

I have customer, who has crashing app on his phone. Previously we use to use aLogcat application on the phone. So user was just instructed to extract log from this application and send logfile to us. But unfortunately aLogcat is not working since Jelly Bean update.
How can I get logcat info from his device without asking him to install entire Android SDK? Any simple software on the phone or on the Windows computer can do this trick?

Most of my Android contacts are listed as "device" under the "connection" heading. About 10% of my contacts are listed as either "google" or as "google" and "device". The contacts that are have Google under the Connection heading auto-sync to Google+, the remaining 90% of my contacts don't sync.
Is there a way to edit/change the Connection type to add Google to all my contacts?

I have rooted my device and I was downloading a app and it was taking long to complete so I force stopped some app in the app manager thing (I think it was about downloading) and now after that any google things don't work. Like google play or youtube. How do I get it to work again? Plus I have tried the clear data thing on the google fraimwork thing.

I have a European GNex (4.3) that is not tied to a carrier. I also have a Nexus 10 on 4.3. On both devices, I have activated "Allow remote lock and factory reset" in the Google Settings app.However, while I have all functionalities shown as activated on the ADM web interface for the Nexus 10, my GNex is "stuck" with only the "Ring" function active. I have unchecked and rechecked "Allow remote lock and factory reset" and refreshed the web page, deleted the data from the Google Play Services app and rebooted, tried combinations of all of these, all to no avail. The ADM web interface continues to show only the "Ring" function for my GNex, with "Lock" and "Erase" greyed out.

I want to root my Samsung Moment so that I can put Live Wallpapers on it and such, but every time I go to DL mode my computer says "USB Device Not Recognized" I have tried with and without USB Debugging on, install uninstall Drivers, going to REGEDIT to erase SAMSUNG drivers, formatting my phone, two different USB cables, three machines, and yet IT-STILL-WONT-WORK. The mounting and unmounting of the sd card, I read up and Ordered a class 6 verbatum card. But the big Issue is my windows will not recognize the behold 2. When I hook it up it tells me usb device not recognized then inside it says Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) Port_#0006.Hub_#0005. I have tried to install the usb drives I found on this site but it will not allow them to install. I have gone in and deleted My upper and lower system file in the registry.
I have bought a new cable < universal> I did not have the OEM cable and Samsung refused to send me one said it was tmobiles responsibility. I have hooked it up to a Vista 32 bit system and nothing. Also when I hook it too the usb it only shows charging no usb notification on the screen. I seem to remember reading it should have a usb symbol on the upper right corner? I have also already set the system setting to usb mass storage.

So I tried to update my phone from home a few days ago. It didn't work. I got to the Volume Down+Camera+End step and plugged in the USB and it said "USB device not recognized." Something like that. I tried for about an hour, restarting PC, toggling USB debugging, and turning off the phone. After that, I got fed up and deleted the update software from my desktop and told my mom to take me to Sprint next weekend.

So I have a Samsung Vibrant (just got it recently) and I'm having problems when i connect it to the computer. It gives me an USB device not recognized on my windows 8 computer. I have spent all morning searching and reinstalling drivers and trying my old pc and new cables and i found out that my old windows 7 computer with 4GB of ram and an overloaded hard drive will detect my device the problem there is it not my main computer and i don't want to have to connect all the vga cables boot it up connect mouse and ets to use this computer just to be able to copy files, and do other things from my computer to my phone I don't know why my main computer dell inspiron windows 8 will not work when it was a couple of days ago when i had a problem with connectivity and had to flash back to stock but now it wont connect.
