HTC Incredible :: Live Wall Paper Kills Battery Life
Jun 16, 2010I noticed that the live wall paper are slowing htc sense down along with eating up battery. Just wondering if anyone else here experience the same thing.

HTC EVO 4G :: Live Or Normal Wall Paper?
Jun 19, 2010What do you guys prefer? i have found some amazing home screen set ups, mine stinks i have the live aquarium which is cool but hten the standard clock/weather and a few widgets. i have beautiful widgets but i dont find it to be that great. anyways, what wallpaper do u guys generally prefer. i havent found many great live wps but i also havent found a site with good normal wps either, relative to the stuff people who have sick home screens have. also, for my normal wps that i download, they come out super expanded on my home screen. i got the joker/dark knight wp and it comes up expanded on my home screen, same with other wps i pick despite the 640x480 set up.

From browsing the threads it appears to me that most folk end up with static wallpaper. Of course screen prints of the screen layouts makes it hard to tell if they are animated or not.
Does live wall paper kill the battery? Does live wall paper slow the device down noticably?

people say thr evo will be so much better in OS department, but compared to the HERO isnt that all the same 2.1 OS ?

May 1, 2010Why is it When I take a picture with the phone camera it wont put the picture up as wall paper in its original size format. It blows it up really big or wants me to re size it what am I doing wrong. All I want is the picture to look like I took it on the home screen.

Jun 27, 2010I have not had one good experience with Flash so far. Its laggy. The rollover stuff really is a pain. It slows down the whole phone. Kills battery life and heats up my phone enough to fry an egg. Its deja vu. I hate Apple and I hate Steve Jobs, and I was a huge supporter of Flash coming to Android, but frankly, its terribly disappointing. The tap to interact thing is really annoying and doesn't work. I tried to watch the World Cup game and it was off center in full screen mode and very laggy. since we already have youtube and hulu won't let us watch their stuff, it seems that 95% percent of Flash really is ads. Also, I tried to watch a video in a flash player and i couldn't change the volume or pause it. And when scrolling, any flash content lags in movement and slows down the whole page. Am I the only one disappointed? I mean, I know its only a beta but they have a long way to go for me to consider keeping it installed on a regular basis.

HTC EVO 4G :: Can't Make Whole Picture Your Wall Paper
Jul 18, 2010Is it me or is it impossible to make a picture from the gallery your wall paper in its full glory? they let you crop it but i cant figure out a way to make the full picture my wall paper. When you do crop it, it then zooms in on the section you cropped to make it fit the screen. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.

I was in the IRC room the other day, and was told by a couple of users that they had tried a few things and it wasn't possible.
Then today I was playing around the forums and Disabled SenseUI to check out the Android Home, for shits and giggles no attempt to keep it.
I set a background in Home, which spanned all 3 Home pages... when scrolling thru it actually looked like you were moving along a Image 3x the width of one screen.
When I went back to SenseUI.... that same background was there on all 6 pages no copies at all.....
Any1 kno how to make our on like this and install it on the phone? What would the resolution be on one page or multiple pages?

Jun 23, 2010My battery life was bad, but it was OK, but in the past few days my battery life is 10% per 30minutes(Just over 5 hours on a charge).I used to get 8-10 hours on a charge.I noticed last week that while it was charging the status of the battery was "Overheat".I think I somehow cooked the battery?I use TaskKiller and kill 95% of apps automatically, I have bluetooth,wireless,GPS disabled and the screen dimmed.I have not changed or installed any new apps.I have not changed the way I use the phone at all.My battery was dead, 0%, and it charged to 95% in about 45 minutes.Is this even possible?In fact in the past two days I have not gotten the charge above 95% at all.

May 24, 2010Just tested my battery (stock) vs my new battery (1750). I got about 4.5 hours running my stock battery down to 25% or so and I'm now at about 6.5 hours running the 1750 down to 27%. When people talk about measuring battery life are they talking about 100%-0% or are they just talking about just 100%-20% or so. This is really the only usable battery range because the radio turns off somewhere under the 20% point. I'm also thinking that my Seidio battery isn't working properly. It was kind of bent out of shape when I got it and felt pretty filmsy. I decided to give it a try but now I'm kind of thinking about returning it in the hopes of getting better life out of a new one.So two questions here what range are you all measuring your battery life through? and any chance that Il' get more life out of a new battery?
