I have To set Wall Paper In application by writing the code programmatically. when i press the Grid view Image will get full screen ..... that image i should keep as a wall paper in the android mobile screen how can i do that in programatically. View 6 Replies View RelatedIs it me or is it impossible to make a picture from the gallery your wall paper in its full glory? they let you crop it but i cant figure out a way to make the full picture my wall paper. When you do crop it, it then zooms in on the section you cropped to make it fit the screen. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know.
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhat do you guys prefer? i have found some amazing home screen set ups, mine stinks i have the live aquarium which is cool but hten the standard clock/weather and a few widgets. i have beautiful widgets but i dont find it to be that great. anyways, what wallpaper do u guys generally prefer. i havent found many great live wps but i also havent found a site with good normal wps either, relative to the stuff people who have sick home screens have. also, for my normal wps that i download, they come out super expanded on my home screen. i got the joker/dark knight wp and it comes up expanded on my home screen, same with other wps i pick despite the 640x480 set up.

From browsing the threads it appears to me that most folk end up with static wallpaper. Of course screen prints of the screen layouts makes it hard to tell if they are animated or not.
Does live wall paper kill the battery? Does live wall paper slow the device down noticably?
I thought 2.1 came with that, but ime probably wrong. I looked up apps, only one thats free. What makes the nexus one and the evo different in the OS? I know the camera/ flash , 720 P , snap dragon, large brighter big screen, so what gives, what is the main attraction ?
people say thr evo will be so much better in OS department, but compared to the HERO isnt that all the same 2.1 OS ?

I was in the IRC room the other day, and was told by a couple of users that they had tried a few things and it wasn't possible.
Then today I was playing around the forums and Disabled SenseUI to check out the Android Home, for shits and giggles no attempt to keep it.
I set a background in Home, which spanned all 3 Home pages... when scrolling thru it actually looked like you were moving along a Image 3x the width of one screen.
When I went back to SenseUI.... that same background was there on all 6 pages no copies at all.....
Any1 kno how to make our on like this and install it on the phone? What would the resolution be on one page or multiple pages?
When i had my iphone i used to love this app! It is simple and fun, played it nonestop. now i see its in the app store (search : paper toss). So i quickly grabbed it. now it is fun but was saddened on how subpar it felt to its iphone cousin. i really hope they make this app comparable to its iphone/touch cousin. But the fun factor is there, just in a reduced form.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm very happy with my new smartphone, the Galaxy S from Samsung . I don't use any protection for the screen, so i wipe out the "fingerprints" with something to make it nice and shiny! However i did use, several times, paper tissues. Big mistake. If i hold down the phone in bright light, i see tiny scratches on the surface .
So only use cloth and nothing less if you don't use protection, but NEVER use paper tissues!
Is there anyway to enable unofficial video recording? I cannot find it anywhere... I have the Photon and I want to see if we can enable it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy 7 year old, 5year old & 3 & 1/2 year old are able to do terrible things to my phone & computers! I hope I am one of many frustrated & forlorn parents who have great kids that are obviously a rung or 3 up the evolutionary ladder! Perhaps we should start a support group! LMAO I am new to android & so far I love it, so much that you can do on this platform & as i am a lateral thinker it is so much fun being able to get apps that seem to allow my though processes & not miss a beat, what a delight. NOt too impressed with the pattern lock at the moment though but I am hopeful of finding a solution there or admiring my Very expensive paper weight that might have been so much fun!! I am currently very tentative about all the programming stuff but I guess in time & with help from all the learned folk out there I will be able to have the best & most productive tool completely customized for me that I could imagine. Do let me know if I am deluded as it would save me much heart ache, Hope to be educated well here so thanks in advance for your patience & assistance!

It showed up on the 2nd or 3rd day after getting the phone. It looks like a yellow sheet of paper with a dog-ear in the bottom-left corner. I had installed a couple of notepad apps and uninstalled all except for one called Note Me. I've checked Task Manager and it doesn't appear to be running. Deleted all notes in Note Me, checked its options, and the author's web page doesn't show this icon.Pocket your world - Home of software solutions for your iphone, gPhone and Blackberry Anyone recognize this icon? My contractor wants me to write another utility (service) to periodically check his website for newer versions of MyMainApp, and if there is one - download it and install.
I know this is handled by the Market app, but my contractor wants to do it in his own utility (he does not want the user to be bothered with the update process).
Of course - the user will be notified and agree to this feature. Can this be done?
At work everyone has an ipod/iphone so we commonly share the same Apple wall charger (I have an ipod.. it was a gift and is soon to be sold). Obviously Apple uses there proprietary charger as far as plugging into the device itself but the wall charger itself just uses a standard USB. My question is, can I connect the Incredible's USB cable to the Apple wall charger and successfully charge the phone without any repercussions? I'd like to avoid having to take my charger to work everyday (not allowed to connect devices to our highly monitored computers).

I click it and it looks like it tries to send me to the m.facebook.com mobile site... except every time I click a picture, I get the following error: "The page you requested cannot be displayed right now. It may be temporarily unavailable, the link you clicked on may be broken or expired, or you may not have permission to view this page." I have had my DInc for two days now, and have not yet been able to view photos that are published to my news feed! And it's not just my cousin's photos, it's any photos on the news feed... even ones I post!

Here's the problem: Sometimes different "strange" error message appear like "error with HelloIdahoFalls.com" or "HelloSiouxCity.com" or "HolyPlanets Connect" and so on. I really don't know why these sites appear on my error log. Seems like my Android KeyHash is in conflict with some of this sites. The strange thing is that sometimes my application works and posts correctly on my wall.
