HTC Incredible :: Inverted Color Internet Browsing

This is my first smartphone. After looking through apps and settings everywhere, I gave up and figured you guys would know.I want to invert the color scheme for the internet. Make internet pages display white text on a black background and so on. Many people do this on their computer browsers as it is easier on the eyes. On computers, people just use stylesheets to accomplish this.How can I do this on my Droid incredible internet? Or must the phone be rooted for this sort of customization? Is their another internet app that has this function?

Has anyone noticed extremely fast battery drain while browsing the internet? I can use Facebook, play games, look at wikidroid, etc. and battery life seems "normal" but while using the browser it will use 10 percent in 10 minutes. I have timed it, I was at 60 percent, browsed the forums here for 10 minutes and was at 51 percent afterwards. Is this normal?
I am rooted and have 2.2, I have tried the stock browser and Dolphin HD and both do the same thing.

I get an error 504 when attempting to browse the internet on t-Mobile. I can use WiFi no trouble and I know that the apps can access the internet as I installed one from the Android Market no trouble. I have a H indicating HSDPA on the phone and have restarted the phone.Is anyone getting the same trouble on their Desire HD on T-Mobile, or any network come to that matter.

I am thinking of switching over to the DroidX from the iphone 3gs (ATT).I was wondering if I will be able to browse the web via 3G while I am on a call. I read that due to CDMA tech, I will not be able to do this on Verizon.

I was so happy when I was able to pull myself away from the iphone and really was hoping for great things with my new hero.I must say the hero is great! BUT Im tempted everytime I go online with my Hero to either stamp on it or throw it out the window.I used to surf a lot at home over wifi with my iphone, It was quick always a great connection absolutly no problems.Now i have no iphone and surf with my Hero, must say the worst and most annoying situation from a surfing point of view.I have full bars on wifi connection, yet it is sooo slow. But not only slow I also need to refresh the page i want to view at least 3 or 4 times till the network error dissapears and the webpage is shown, same goes when accessing the market app.Like I said the hero itself is really great, but at the moment for me it is a much more pleasent experience surfing over wifi on the iphone.I thought I was over the iphone groupie phase but it looks like their going to get me back unless maybe theres someone who knows about this wifi problem.

I'm having an issue with using my Eris while connected to my home wifi network. The problem is that after I successfully connect to my network, I am unable to browse the internet, access the Market, or use any music apps which require internet access. I have verified that my phone is capable of doing all of this while connected to an unsecured wifi network, however, my network is secured. I'm not sure if that's what the issue is.A little bit of info about my home network - I have a Motorola SBG900 cable modem w/built-in wireless access. I have it setup for b/g network, WPA/PSK, etc. The strange thing about this is that I have two laptops, & my iPad setup on the same wireless network and all of them are able to access the network with no issues.

for some reason my phone keeps shutting off. the only times it shut off on me is when i've been using either: google maps, browse the internet, sprint family locator, yellow pages, i think that's it.i've also had problems with my phone not staying asleep. i've posted about it before, but never found a resolution.i have wiped, reflashed, PLENTY of times.

i am not sure if this has already been addressed but i know one of the main advertisements AT&T has done is the iphones ability to surf the web while on a call and verizon's inability to do so, well i was playing around on the call settings and what not while on a call and i pressed home expecting it to take me back to the call screen and instead it took me to my home screen and i thought, why not, so i tried to open the browser and it worked. i was kinda surprised. so i tried to open some apps as well and it also worked. i am just wondering why AT&T is boasting about this when we have the ability to and sprint likely has this ability also bc of the similarities between the hero and the eris.

With all the ads in games these days taking you out to the internet to browse and buy things, is there any way to disable internet borwsing from an actual browser while still leaving it open for things like Youtube? I can't uninstall the browser itself I don't think but if there's a way to disable it, or even just to disable downloading files from the internet, I'd be interested in that.

I noticed that my Desire is heating up when Im internet browsing and the battery drains very quickly (100% to 10% in 1.5hour). Strange, because when Im not browsing the battery lasts for 2 days long. It happens only when I use it for a heavy Internet browsing or Market browsing (when it uses heavy data transfer). I use an unlimited data plan in Brazil. It occurs when I use the Wifi too. I looks like when Im tethering, but Im not.
Can it be something about processor clock control? Ive upgraded to 2.2 recently.

I am tempted to take my moment back despite liking it so much. Recently, when I was using the browser or anything that uses the 3g connection, it would just stop communicating and nothing would get loaded. If I waited a while (an hour) it would sometimes come back or I would have to do a reboot in order to get back the connection. Anyone else running into this problem? What should I do?

I used my Hero this morning/afternoon with music, wi-fi, internet browsing, and I used up the first half of the battery. And after that, I have been mostly studying and not using my phone... but the second half of the batter drains, it seems like, FASTER than the first half did! No music playing, no wi-fi, no internet browsing? Is this normal? Is it just the nature of these batteries?

Bought a shiny new Android phone (HTC Desire) today, everything going ticketyboo up to now and only a few small questions:
1) How do you know when your not using the internet? It's not a problem at home connected to wi-fi, but going to take phone to work tomorrow and not sure if normal internet will continue running in the background?
2) Is it correct that BBC iPlayer etc are not yet compatible with Android phones? Tried to get tvcatchup, but appears it's only available for iPhones?

So i was out the other night with a few friends and we decided to race our phones going to various web sites. We laid all three phones down in a triangle next to each other. We would all type in the same web site and hit go at the same time. My incredible was killing them. Compared to the droid, the incredible would load the site about 5 seconds faster. The iphone was not even close. One site took about 15 to 20 seconds longer to load on the iPhone. They were shocked at how fast the incredible was. I am so glad I have this phone!

The dropdown in the browser navigation bar shows every site that I've been to . How do I clear it? Menu>more>History>Clear History says my history is cleared but when I go back to my browser and tap the navigation field it's all still there - every site I've visited for days! Ditto if I go to Menu>More>Settings and clear the forms, history, cache, and cookies. So how do I clear the browser navigation history?

1. Web browsing. Especially if I go to the Facebook website, when I click on some buttons, lilke "Search", nothing happens. It is as if it is a dead link. My only solution is that I reboot my phone, and then clicking on links work again. Anyone have this or no a solution?
2. I am going overseas to South Africa - what is my best option for using my phone? I wanted to just use it for Wifi capabalities, but do not want to incur any data/roaming charges. How do you exactly disable these features so that I just have Wifi?
3. When I go to "People" I see all my contacts, and there pictures are their Facebook pictures. However, if someone updates their profile picture on Facebook, it does not show their new picture. How does this get refreshed? I went to synch and made sure Facebook was synched, still have this problem.

I have a Galaxy S Vibrant i9000m from Bell in Canada and I flashed the bionix-final-stock rom on it and following problems happened:
1) When phone is connected to usb, it reboots and reboots and reboots and reboots (you get the point).
2) I have no audio now (except when i receive a call)
3) Vol. up and down are inverted
4) When headphones are connected, phone acts like there's no headphones connected and when there is no headphones connected, it acts like there is headphones connected. This is basically the no-audio problem.
I restored my old (stock) rom using clockworkmod and the problem still persists. Also flashed another different rom and again the same thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My sister owns HTC One V and she cracked the screen badly. So we purchased a new full LCD + Touch panel and I replaced it. We chose the cheapest one that we could find, but where the word "ORIGINAL" was mentioned in the description. Unfortunately the screen was not original, it seems that seller cheated us. It is not as dark when turned off as original screen is. But as soon as the price was really low we ignored that. The biggest problem is that screen axes are inverted and the touch screen is not inverted. So the screen is upside down, but touch works as if it was normal. And it is pretty unusable. I managed to install "Ultimate rotation control" and got my screen working in normal position but of course touch flipped too. I cannot give the screen to the seller back, so the only solution is the "software" one. I believe there is a program or firmware, or maybe i just need to edit any config file to flip the screen independently from touch or flip the touch independently from screen to make them work together synchronously.
