Samsung : Image Compatibility In Iphone - Android
Feb 1, 2010I developed UI for iphone apps and now want to use the same UI in Android apps. I read that Android use dip for image resolution and i also read that 1 dip=1.5 pixel.I simply multiply the image size by 1.5px. Now the problem is that the image is blur and not as clear as in iphone apps.So will some body suggest me how should i make a design so that it could be used in iphone and android.

Apr 28, 2010I want to know, what accessories is everyone getting.or have gotten already?What are must have accessories in your opinion?I stopped by a vzw store yesterday to pick up a car charger.and she brought out all that they had in the back including hard cases, gel cases, and even a car mount (which I wasn't a huge fan of as it looked huge and super bulky).She even brought out a show phone, and let me play with it.I can't wait.

I think i've seen some mention of people using Nexus batteries and as long as it's the standard capacity it should fit right? Whilst I doubt the capacity is as good as the official HTC ones you can get a charger and two 1400mah batteries on eBay for the price of a single Desire battery here..

May 3, 2010I was experiencing the "freezes" that others have complained about. The phone itself would freeze up after taking a picture or I'd get a black screen right after activating the camera. After some experimenting, I found something interesting that might help others with this problem. I don't understand why this would work, but it does, at least for me.
If I activate the camera while the phone is vertical and wait until the picture comes on the screen and then turn it horizontal, I have no problems, it takes pictures from then on either vertically of horizontally. But if I am holding the phone horizontally. and then activate the camera, I get the black screen or if I do get a picture, the camera freezes after taking the shot. Maybe the part of the OS that detects orientation is having compatibility problems with the camera software?

May 24, 2010So i was out the other night with a few friends and we decided to race our phones going to various web sites. We laid all three phones down in a triangle next to each other. We would all type in the same web site and hit go at the same time. My incredible was killing them. Compared to the droid, the incredible would load the site about 5 seconds faster. The iphone was not even close. One site took about 15 to 20 seconds longer to load on the iPhone. They were shocked at how fast the incredible was. I am so glad I have this phone!

Aug 16, 2010I have a problem. Every time I try to send a photo to my girlfriend on her iPhone via chomp or stock messenger, she never receives them. But she can send me photos just fine.I've tried to lower the quality down and she still does not receive them. HTC Incredible : Crossing Fingers Wont Regret Leaving Iphone
May 25, 2010Well bought my phone 5/19 at a verizon store after playing with it awhile. Iphone been the only so called advanced phone ever used. The android system seems a bit overwhelming, but tired of ATT and apples heavy handed way of things. I dont mind the wait for the phone, using an old blackjack 2 pre paid till it comes i. Guess this will be around 6/13 or so.
Ill admit Im nervous leaving something I know to Android. Will I enjoy this if I dont root ( or jailbreak in iphone terms?). Never been a fan of doing anything to my phone that could hinder my warranty or getting help from the tech people of the phone. Im not the most tech savvy person. Ill keep reading these forums and ones like ti to try to learn. Any hints or tips be great. Also, how nice does android play with Mac-book Pro? My 2 laptops are both macs, but do have boot-camp on one if its needed for this phone.
