HTC Incredible :: Deleted My Favorite Contacts Screen
May 9, 2010I was trying to get rid of one of the contacts on the "favorite contacts" page (the page to the right of the home screen) and I inadvertently deleted the entire screen! Now I can't figure out how to get a favorite contacts screen back - it's just a blank page now. Can anyone help?

Sep 1, 2010When i type a email address it seems the phone copies it somewhere, not in my contacts list. ive typed in some bad email addresses and now they will show up on a list while typing in a address that starts with the same letter. i cannot find out where to delete the bad email adds.

Jun 20, 2010I know there are a few threads similar to this but I didnt see one that really answer my question. Basically when you press on PHONE and the dialer with the keypad and the contacts/call history shows up. Basically, that screen have my FACEBOOK contacts and my PEOPLE contacts. And because of that I have like 1200 contacts...some I dont even talk to like that and some dont even have phone numbers but its there. I dont know how to get rid some of it. Basically, I want to know how to get rid of some of the FACEBOOK contacts. Or if I cant do that, is there any way to have the PEOPLE contacts show only when you press on the PHONE button? I have tried LONG PRESS....EDITING the facebook contacts.

Oct 16, 2012My wife's phone - which is a ZTE Blade running 2.2 - is losing it's favorites in the contacts manager each time it syncs to Google Contacts.
I looked up her Google Contacts [URL] and there is no "Starred in Android" group, as it should be. I think it should be automatically created when she fovorites a contac in her phone. But instead, it deletes the starring of the contacts in the phone each time it syncs.

I was wondering if it is possible to delete all the contacts on the phone but not affect his google account contacts? Also, if i reformat the phone, will this delete all his google contacts?

Oct 11, 2010BEfore i updated to 2.2 i used to get a green number next to a contact on the fav contacts widget whenever one of them updated their status.
Ie if my GF posted something on her wall her name woudl get a green 1 next to her name on the widget.
Ever since i updated this doesnt happen anymore. Has this been removed from 2.2, I have checked all the settings and nothings changed.

May 20, 2010In 1.5, there was a htc widget that you can put on your home screen and add your favorite contacts to it, and it allows you to choose the action of calling or texting when you tap on their pictures.
I couldn't find this widget anywhere in 2.1. Also, is there any app/widget that is similar to the one im talking about from 1.5?

Oct 5, 2010I don't know if this is phone-specific. I have a Sprint HTC Hero. When I press the phone button, I get the call log, and then I can click over to Favorites to get my most-used contacts. It would be perfect if when I click on the phone button, it would default to my favorites instead of the call log. Is this possible?

Oct 8, 20101. The stock EVO theme has a verticle widget for your favorite contacts along with 4G toggle, Bluetooth toggle, WiFi toggle, and GPS toggle on screen 3. I have removed the favorties widget and can't seem to find it in the list of widgets. Is there an easy way to get it back without going back to the stock theme, and modifying it again?
2. My HTC Weather widget on the home screen doesn't seem to update well. As late as 8:50am today, I sync / refreshed the weather, and I am still showing the moon and not the sun. Same thing happened yesterday... except an 8:20 refresh brought in the sun. The Weather Channel app is much better about adjusting to morning/night...and they always seem to display different temps from the HTC weather. I thought errybody got their numbers from the same source.
HTC Droid Eris :: Change Default Action In Favorite Contacts?
Jan 2, 2010I'm using an Eris at the moment, and favorites that were populated by default shows a card and prompts me for the desired action. I realize that selecting the name below the icon allows me to choose different actions, but I have very poor accuracy in trying to tap on just the name, so for contacts that I've added that I'm forced to choose a default action, it's very difficult for me to choose an alternate action.
The instruction manual says to "press and hold" the contact to change the default action, but that selects the entire widget to move or discard.
Does anyone know how to change the default action to prompt me each time I open a specific favorite contact?
I've seen this question for the Hero too, but with no answers. Posted on the HTC forum, but that's looking rather un-promising.

Feb 24, 2010Whenever i enter a new contact they stay in my phone for about a minute and then i go back to my "people" page and they have disappeared (i see them for a second, then they disappear) They are contacts i have entered manually. all of the contacts show up on my gmail page. but they arent on my phone. Sep 22, 2010I have an issue where someone in my favorites group of contacts and is not showing up when I got to "People" and select "ALL".This is the second time this has happened to me and the only way I know how to fix it is to delete the contact and then add them back.
