YouTube widget has not been working it just says connection problem touch to try again any fix for this it has been like this for a few days.

My youtube widget has said "connection problem, touch to try again" for over a week and does not work. Anyone know the deal? It gives me this error on full bars 3g, full bars wifi and currently 2 bars 4g.
View 17 Replies View RelatedThe upload and the search buttons don't seem to be doing anything on the YouTube widget when it's on the home screen. When I actually open the program list and open the YouTube app, the buttons work from there, just not from the home screen widget.
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe wifi toggle widget that comes standard on the phone is not working for me. When wifi is off, I press the toggle widget and the small bar goes up showing that wifi is connected. But at the top bar, it still says 3G and doesn't show the wifi bars symbol. Only when I go into the settings menu does it connect to wifi. Anyone else having this problem? And keep in mind, this is the wifi widget that is already on the phone, not from the marketplace.

To reproduce this you can add the small one to a screen, then delete it, then try to add the face book widget again and it won't ask you which style this time.

There is allways this problem... with youtube.. while having working internet wifi/3G.
It says "no connection"
-sync time
-remove adblock
-permissions... working on.
However, still the same problem.
Isn't there any developer, who know's how to track an apps interconnections with other apps. what the youtube app depends on, to run flawlessly.Also it would be really interesting to know, how to track that? What app needs what to work properly
I thing is, that my time in recovery mode is different... is there a possibillity to change the time in recovery? But is this really important ?It worked before without a specific recovery time.
I have had my HTC desire for about a week now and can't access any youtube videos. I can select a video to view and it looks like it's loading but after serveral minutes the error message 'Sorry no network connection right now, please try again later' or 'Sorry, this video cannot be played. this video is not available'
My internet seems to be working although it seems very slow (thought it should be alot faster). Is there something I need to set up to be able to view the videos? I've tried using the youtube widget and also using Dolphin HD but with no luck.
I am using HTC wildfire and using Rom galaxy nexus by Gmerv . the work good but the YouTube is not working prsoperly it shows errors mostly like "connection to the server is lost . please try again later " or " there was problem in playing in video please try again". also I am using WiFi have no data plan.

I even unsuccessfully tried launching app by website or link. I went to Settings>App>YouTube. I cleared the cache and file storage but it did not make the difference. Then it eventually just says "Sorry! Activity YouTube (in application YouTube) is not responding. Any ideas?

Since I updated, my youtube widget constantly says "Connection problem. Touch to try again"
When I touch it, either on 3g or wifi, it tries to refresh and comes back with the same message. All of my other data-related things work. It is just this widget. I have tried removing it from the desktop and then placing it there again, and this does nothing to help either. I have rebooted the phone numerous times as well. Again, this didn't help.
I just have a small doubt, it seems the youtube widget access the 3g/2g when it is not used, is this true?
View 1 Replies View Relatedis anybody else having a problem with their youtube app widget after the "gps fix" update? after the update i noticed it only had the search option (little magnifying glass) and no longer the upload video (little camcorder) button on the widget. after i add the widget and use with the phone for a little bit (sometimes for less than 5 minutes) the widget will change itself back to having the upload button option but at that point the search and upload buttons just highlight orange when i press them and then it does nothing. sometimes im able to click on the video being promoted on the widget and it will open and play but for the most part the widget is un-clickable. im not sure if it has anything to do with me downloading launcher pro but i had that on my last captivate before i exchanged it and currently my phone is all stock haven't rooted it or anything yet.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI updated to froyo 2.2 yesterday and ever since the camera, camcorder and YouTube apps flash open for a second and immediately close. I called Sprint's tech support and the lady said that Sprint did not work the bugs out of it for their phones yet, and that I have to go to the store and have them completely wipe it. This is unacceptable because I literally have put thousands of things on my evo. Is there anything else that can be done?

I can't use any of the soft keys at the bottom, I have to make the phone go to sleep then open it again. I was wondering if it just takes long to load or if the app is broken, I am only in a 3g area but I wouldn't think that that would affect it. It shows my notification bar but doest let me access it

I already power cycled my Evo too. Spoke to a co-worked who has the Captivate and HQ is working for him fine.

I'm guessing because of an incompatibility with the old Froyo version. When I try to view any YouTube, from the app. or even from the web, I get a simple announcement which states "An Error Occurred".I've tried the normal uninstall, reinstall. Is there a way to install an older version of YouTube?

For some reason, youtube videos are not working on my phone. They were working lasst night!? I am running the HQ youtube app FYI and am on Dd10. Why did it suddenly stop working? Now when I click into videos, it says cannot play video.
