As i gracefully age,my reading vision crashes and burns I get tired of always trying to remember to bring my glasses(another age thing). So i am looking for a good app that i could use to help me read. I looked around the market and online some but couldn't find anything. Iphone has something but i have a real phone. Any ideres or recommendations?

I've connected my Incredible to my mac via USB. It charges, but I cannot find it as a disk on my mac anywhere. In the phone I have it set to read as a disk. All I am looking to do is transfer some music. Any suggestions?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI really like the simplicity of the HTC widget player. True, not a lot of info is given but I do a lot of driving for work and a simple player I can use while in my home screen is great.
I moved over all my music from my old phone which was categorized in folders by artist. Each artist has a folder and a generic image is used in each folder called "folder.jpg" and "cover.jpg" but the player is not reading the image. Will it not do this? I hope I don't have to embed the image into each MP3 because that would be a major PITA. I have around 3000 songs and don't want to have to edit each one. Is there another widget that is better?

Well ! S1 and S2 work on the emulator. But, on a real device, S1 make some problem. The file is mixed :/ ! For example i would to transfer this text: "123456789ABCDEF 123456789ABCDEF 123456789ABCDEF 123456789ABCDEF 123456789ABCDEF 123456789ABCDEF 123456789ABCDEF" But i receive this: "123456789ABCDEF 12345678923456789ABCDEF 123456789ABCDEF 123456789ABCDEF 12345678ABCDEF 123456789ABCDEF 123456789ABCDEF 123456789" (not really a real example) The content received have same size as the source. Look at this: "123456789ABCDEF" is send and "12345678ABCDEF" is received.
How does it is possible ? Someone can help me?
I searched the Incredible forums and sub forums and could not find an answer to this question, though I am sure it has been asked: If I want to go from my stock 2 GB card to a new card, and I want to preserve data AND have all apps still be able to read whatever data they were reading off the card, do I just transfer the files from one card to the other? I bet the only thing I need to make sure of is that new card is formatted with the same file system as the original card, right? I know copying data from one card to the other will preserve data, but I want to make sure I have no problems with apps, either, after inserting the newer card.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI think I've found the battery culprit on my wife's new Incredible. We both got new Incredibles and pretty much set them up the same, except she has to use Good for Enterprise to manage her company email/calender. My phone sleeps like it should, but her phone has been awake 100% of the time since she downloaded Good. After a week of trying to figure out what is keeping her phone from sleeping, I think I have found the answer (and developed a mild case of OCD).
My question is: does anyone know how to set the sync interval for Good? The problem seems to be that it is constantly syncing, which never allows the phone to go to sleep (Up time = Awake time).
My Incredible has 1/2 bars most of the time. This would be ok if my data speeds weren't so terrible. Most of the time my DL is at 250kbps. The only time I had 4 bars was at the Verizon store, where I got 1.7Mbps DL. Are you guys and gals happy with your data speed?

But now it has me thinking again. Is it really a good time to upgrade? I feel like the Incredible is starting to phase out a little (Or thats the feeling I get from some people) and I wonder if maybe I should just wait for the next HTC phone, or if this is the perfect time to upgrade.Im still unsure if I can do a 1 year plan(I need to talk to a VZN rep) instead of a 2 year plan, but if I can I would be a little more comfortable upgrading from my dinky LG Dare right now. It seems like the ringtone and text tones have to be the same volume, and unless I want to crank up the volume on my phone (which makes the ringtone way too loud) I can't hear when I get a text message. View 4 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else noticed that calls placed using Google Voice don't sound as good as a regular cell call? I hung up from a friend and called right back using Google Voice, and it was more difficult to understand. I was using my bluetooth speakerphone, and their voice kept fading in and out. So I hung up again and called back via the handset, and experienced the same problem. I did this last week and also had this problem, but thought it may just be a temporary glitch. Apparently I also sounded fuzzy to them. Shouldn't be too much different from a normal call should it? It's just basically calling a Google number, and then Google is calling to the actual number you want to call.

What are some good and reliable sources for apps? I can't see wanting more than a few as I view it as a phone & occasional internet tool. A few games, widgets and the like might be good, too.
