So on my DInc running Froyo I now have an extra link under my google account that lets me sync my Picasa web albums. I have no idea how this works though. I took pictures, but they didn't upload to Picasa. Can I set this up natively? I've been using Photobucket, but I'd prefer a Google service if it works better.

I am already syncing the Picasa Web Album for my mail google account on my galaxy, but i have a secondary google acount which I sync emails from. When I go to Accounts and Sync, there is no option for me to sync my second google acount's Picassa Web Albums. Does anybody know how I can sync 2 Picasa Web Albums, both of which have been setup on different google accounts?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't remember how I did it, but I was somehow able to upload all the photos that I've taken with the camera to Picasa. Now I have quite a few videos in there as well, but I do remember a message saying that videos are not supported by Picasa and that only the photos would be uploaded. I'm now trying to do the same thing, but whenever I choose the entire 'Camera' folder to upload to Picasa, the only 'Share' options are YouTube, Gmail, and Bluetooth. Does anyone know how I may have done that the first time, or a way to sync photos from the gallery to Picasa web albums?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have 1500 pictures inside many sub folders in Picasa. I want to sync them to my phone (as reduced resolution). I was hoping the do this through Picasa web albums but you can't snyc sub folders. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to have access to these iamges on my phone? I could use a PC snyc tool if necessary. But it would be nice to have an automated solution that would "watch" a certain folder and its subfolders.

I want this to replace my iPod Touch (not that I hate apple or anything I just want one device for everything) and was wondering how this process works on this phone exactly. I know that you can plug in your phone and manually make all of the folders for your albums and such but that seems like a lot of work.

I also downloaded this on My mac I was able to just Command Click every single song I wanted and sync it directly to my phone straight from iTunes.And I made a folder and Copied a BUNCH of photo's from iPhoto directly into the Folder I created in my camera Gallery.
I upload photo's from my computer to Picasa Web using Picasa, where they are stored in my Google Plus space.
Under my account sync settings in Android, along with Gmail and Contacts and all that, I've got "Sync Google Photos" and "Sync Picasa Web Albums".
What's the difference between these two choices?
I thought the EVO had Picasa integration built in, but I must have been thinking of the X.

some of my albums are syncing (my main pictures album), but my screenshots are not. How can I fix it so my screenshots also sync to Google+ or at least to google drive? Note that my phone is not rooted
View 2 Replies View RelatedEverything seems to be working fine except - no Picasa. I set up the phone with my Google account and calendar, mail, contacts are all synced fine. However, no Picasa albums in Photos section. Went to Account setup, clicked on Google account, no Picasa there either. On my wife's Droid (OS v2.1 also) Picasa is listed under Google account options. Is this an Incredible bug or am I missing something?

I was trying to do this with the sense photo app but it looks like it only allows this with facebook and flikr. Anyone know if it is possible to do with sense?Or a good photo album app replacement?

For example, it just searched my SD card and came up with an "icons" folder that contains various program icons. Is there seriously no way to tell it not to appear in HTC album? On windows mobile we had to resort to registry edits to correct this, but I'm afraid we can't do that on android... Also, is there serious no subfolders? So I can't have something like: Photographs -> Family -> Pets

Is there a way to have your images on your SD card backed up to Picasa as an automated process? I think I lost some recently after I did a factory reset the image numbers started over I think and it has overwritten about 50 images.

When I make a change in my Google "My Contacts" folder or on the phone it fails to update the other. It is set to actively sync in my settings and I have manually synced to no avail.

The message just stays bolded as unread. I even tried refreshing my inbox by clicking on 'Mail' in gmail, and it still showed as unread.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI usually always have background syncing on with no problem but lately the syncing arrows have been in my status bar constantly and its draining my battery in four hours.I don't think its an app but I deleted some anyways.Also it freezes my phone and Sense force closes all the time.For the time being I turned off background syncing..but you know, now its not really an android phone lol.

View 5 Replies View RelatedSo I have adjusted the Outgoing server settings from the standard Incredible settings for Yahoo IMAP to ones that are posted for the Motorola Droid, which is the same as (i believe) K-9 and my sent messages do not make it to Yahoo mail.Neither SMTP server setting within HTC mail syncs my sent mail. I am only looking for 1-way (device to server) sync. I don't expect 2-way sync.Both K-9 Mail and ROID mail are able to sync sent messages.

On 2.1, the second I got an email, it showed up in my Gmail inbox (no notification, but that wasn't a big deal, i just manually checked it) anyway, now its not doing that, and I have to manually refresh Gmail, which is annoying. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone know how to get around it?
View 16 Replies View RelatedYesterday I noticed that my emails from my phone were not getting sent.Today I noticed I had a bunch in my outbox that said sending.I have the sync turned on and all my other Google apps sync (Calendar, Picasa, Contacts) but gmail never updates.I can't force it to send and receive either.And I can't remove my account to set it up again without doing a factory reset.Any ideas why just my gmail is not syncing anymore?BTW I tried to uncheck all sync options turn off phone and back on then check them again without any luck.

Mail works fine, as does my calendar, but the contacts that were there this morning are still there, but the last sync is about 12 hours old. Tried a manual sync and it doesn't sync...just sits there. Using Google Apps Premier and the Gmail contacts sync fine with my Apple Address book, but just not my phone. I was going to delete the Google account and add it again, but when I try that I get a tutorial that the only way I can do that is to reset the phone to factory defaults. I don't want to reinstall all the apps I have on this phone...surely there is something else going on. Any ideas?

I've already tried clearing the data in the Calendar application, and manually syncing them. I'm also using Pure Calendar, if it matters, and have the update frequency set to every 30 minutes, and have already manually refreshed that as well.

I did play around with Friendstream, but I disabled it and took it off my home screen.
For anyone having problems syncing to Facebook for HTC Sense:
1)Go to your facebook profile on your computer browser
2)Got to Info, then Edit profile
3)Go to Education And Work
4)Under employer: I changed both position and city/town to include whatever city you are currently in. If you have multiple employers (past and present), change those too
5)Go to your Incredible, settings, accounts & sync, Facebook for HTC sense, sign in & it should work..
