Sep 29, 2010I just rooted my phone and wiped the Memory, i need help finding a good reliable ROM and installing it. Any help would be appreciated. I'm not going to restore my phone contacts and im also having trouble finding the Nandroid option.

May 2, 2010I loaded a wallpaper into the DCIM folder on the internal memory and after disconnecting from the computer, I changed the home screen wallpaper to this picture. (the one of the predator and alien playing chess).Now all 7 home screens are completely blank. No widgets or icons. Somehow everything on the home screens has been wiped. I removed the picture from the internal memory folder.

Aug 29, 2010Not talking about the text size of the actual emails here, but the text size of your inbox message list when you click on the icon or on the drop down notification. To me the text is huge, and therefore the inbox list is shorter and you only get a small preview of the info. Is there a simple way to reduce that text size that I just haven't been able to find?

After some testing, I foudn that when I enable pop-up notifications, I can view incoming messages. But at no point do they become visible in my inbox... i.e. when I close the pop-up there is no trace of that message ever existing. Other points: I am able to view texts that I have asentThe stock Android messaging app does not receive messages eitherI verified that the Hangouts app has SMS disabled Also, I'm not sure if it is related, but my Handcent app updated yesterday.

General :: Maildroid - Inbox Not Displaying Any Email But Combined Inbox Does?
Feb 28, 2013I've been using Maildroid for about 6 months with no issues. However, the past couple of days, I have one email account that says there are new emails to display, but when I click on it, nothing appears in the Inbox. However, if I go to the Combined inbox, they are there. This email was working before a few days ago! I even deleted the email account and re-created it. Still no email displaying in the Inbox. I do receive a message saying something about server messages and Inbox not available, but I've looked everywhere to find any information on this (even googled it and checked the forums with no luck).

Jun 1, 2010When I start the gmail app I would like it to ALWAYS go to the Inbox. Instead it starts with some old message displayed and I have to tap menu - Back to Inbox so I can see new messages. And it's not like it's opening the last message that I was reading either - it's some older message pretty far down in the Inbox.Is there any way to force it to ALWAYS go to the Inbox when I start the app?

Jul 13, 2010So I hooked up my work email to my DInc Exchange. It works fine, can send and receive emails, calendar, etc. The only problem is it doesn't automatically update the inbox when a new email comes in. I went under Settings > Send & Receive > Set download frequency. It is set to "Manual". I change it to "As items arrive" and then exit out. Go back in and its back to "Manual".

Jun 17, 2010I installed b-folders (a password manager) and it allows for a wireless sync between the DI and desktop, so i connected to the wireless network at work for the first time for the sync.Everything went well, except I stopped getting push mail from Exchange.I remembered a thread about Exchange not syncing over a wireless connection, so I turned off the wireless.My other e-mail accounts work fine, as do syncing calendar and contacts for exchange (both ways).I can send mail from the DI on the Exchange account, but I get no mail on the phone from the Exchange account.I have removed the battery, resaved the account information for the Exchange account, but still no mail received on the phone.I am at my wits end trying to figure this out.the problem seems only to effect incoming mail from the Exchange server on the phone, all the other info from the server comes through fine (even 5 minute alarms for upcoming appointments).Any ideas from the cloud?

Aug 6, 2010This might be a dumb question but is there any way (or app) that would allow us to change the white envelope in the notification bar for email? I ask because I have 2 accounts, one Yahoo and another Exchange for work. I never know which email account gets a new email unless I expand the notification or enter the email app.
It would be great to be able to have a little "Y" icon (or something) for a Yahoo email and another icon for the exchange email. That way I can just ignore all the exchange email that comes in after work and only bother looking if it is a Yahoo email. Anything out there?

Jun 18, 2010I couldn't find anything specific through a search, but whenever I get an email on gmail I get a white envelope notification. That is linked to the gmail folder. At the same time I get a black envelope with a white outline. I cannot figure out what email folder/widget/whatever it is linked to and I have to manually clear the notification.
Is there anyway to turn off the black envelope?

Jul 29, 2010My "phone contacts" have simply been wiped out all of a sudden. My Google, SIM and Facebook contacts are there but all 97 of my phone contacts are simply gone! It now shows phone (0). I thought I could sync back from Google but it appears all along they weren't even being synced even though my Google contacts sync was turned on, so I'm still left with nothing.This is one of the most frustrating and ridiculous problems I've ever encountered on any phone. I rely almost entirely on my phone contacts, and I sure as hell do not want to start copying from my SIM all over again because I'd have to filter out so many unused contacts.
