HTC Incredible :: Since Loading Frankenrom's B5 And 6 - Lagging Keyboard
Aug 25, 2010I just noticed this since loading Frankenrom's B5 and 6. Keyboard lags when typing text messages or emails. Anyone else experiencing this?

HTC Incredible :: Timestamp Issue While Texting - Frankenrom & Virtuous
Oct 11, 2010I'm new to the root scene, and have been messing around with different ROMs, but have noticed on two different ROMs (frankenrom & virtuous) that when I receive text messages, the time stamp on them is incorrect. My account was set up in Illinois, but I'm now in Delaware. When I send a text it stamps at Eastern time, however when I receive a text, it comes through at Central time. This causes my texts to become unorganized and I have to scroll up in stock messenger (prefer this over Handcent or chomp) to read my new message. Any ideas? It was fine before I flashed any ROMs but now its really bothering me.

Jun 27, 2010My incredible all of a sudden started lagging really bad while texting. I am using the HTC keyboard and have tried others and they all seem to lag. I restarted the phone and no change. Listed below are the apps i have installed on my phone. What could be causing this? It just started today. I also have cleared cache in most apps on the phone.

Sep 15, 2010I rooted last night and installed hyrda kernel. Everything worked just fine. I now want to try to load up cyanogen and give it a try. My question is, if I don't like it, can I revert back to how I have it now? Also, once I load cyanogen, will I still have all of my apps, contacts, pics, etc?

Oct 26, 2010This problem started about two weeks ago. I have had the phone for five months. I am using the app with Gmail count. It will indicate mail and I tap it and it shows loading. This can go on for five minutes or longer or I never do download the mail. I have tried tapping the home screen and the mail icon again and it still does not work.

May 26, 2010Gmail won't load conversations for a day. Keeps saying no connection. I have cleared data but this hasn't resolved the problem. I can't figure out how to re install gmail either if I remove it.

Aug 12, 2010First and for most I just want to say, I love my Driod Incredible. Its lighting fast and puts my friends iPhone to shame every time he want to have a web page loading contest lol. But as of last night, my phone has been acting really awful and strange. I updated a few apps that I use and then tried to go into "handcent SMS" and it would force close every time and wouldn't open at all. I try to click my "phone button" to dial a number and it just says "Loading" forever and I get the same "Loading" screen with my contacts. I have no idea what to do and would really appreciate any help I can get.

Jul 7, 2010Is it normal for Pandora to not go to the next song until I turn on my Dinc screen? (my screen is set to go off after 30 seconds.) As soon as I hit the top button to wake my screen, the next song loads, but if I don't, Pandora will not load the next song, although it does finish the current song.

HTC Incredible :: Dolphin HD Browser - Loading In Android Mode
May 10, 2010Well I just downloaded the Dolphin Browser on to my Incredible today. I noticed that playing videos was actually better with putting it in the Iphone mode. In fact I cant even get it to load with the android mode, and the desktop mode while it has better quality because its loading the actual site video, the video seems to skip and frame rate. So sound comes before the lips or vice versa. On the Incredible the best video loader by far is You Tube player, that seems to be the best and I can even put videos in high quality mode.
I wish I could play every video with the you tube video player as it is the clearest and sharpest video player out of everything that plays on the web. the 2nd best browser for playing videos is the skyfire browser, but that for me only works half the time and can seem like a pain. Anyone got any suggestions to making the video work better that would be great, coming from the moto droid to this phone for video reasons, am very unhappy with so far. I hope in the future that they can fix this problem of mine. Its just so pix pix-elated.

HTC Incredible :: Phone Messages Loading Slowly / Anything To Load Them Faster?
Aug 11, 2010I have had the Droid Incredible for a month and a half now and my text messages are filling up. One girl I have 2500 messages from and the loading is pretty slow. Its pretty annoying waiting to reply and everything else on the phone is lightning fast so I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on how to have them speed up or settings that would help. Please tell me anything that would make these messages load faster.
P.S. I understand deleting the messages will make it fast but erasing them takes way too long and its annoying. Also i need a lot of my messages.

Apr 17, 2010I got the Droid from Verizon a couple days ago, and about two days ago I rooted it, and I'm now using Bugles Beast 0.9 with a 5 slot Chevy 1.2ghz kernel. I keep the CPU set to 800 because i feel like 1200ghz is burning up the battery unnecessarily when I'm playing games. However, I can't figure out why sometimes when I'm returning to the home screen, no icons will display for about 5 seconds (usually when exiting a program that eats up a large amount of CPU). Could it have something to do with Set CPU settings?

Jan 22, 2010Why is support for OpenGL lagging so far behind with Android? I have ebooks that date OpenGL 1.0 ES back to 1997 or so. I don't understand why ~13 year old technology is what's being offered in the Android API. Could someone enlighten me? What's the best path for someone wanting to learn OpenGL ES 1.0? The ebooks I have are of course not oriented for Java/Android and most everything in them doesn't work when I try it. I can post some specific examples later but at this point I'm just wondering if I'm wasting time or if I should keep going and struggle through it. I have a tiny amount of OpenGL experience but it's with 2.0 and apparently things were very different back in the ES 1.0 world. I guess my question boils down to, is OpenGL ES 2.0 support coming to Android anytime soon? And what OpenGL ES 1.0 + Android learning resources already exist?

Jul 22, 2010Most all the time i find the Evo lagging and check the processes with Astro's Process Manager. i see i have usually around 45mb. i free up things i am not using but usually these things are not ones that i have opened. Sprint TV, news, etc. when i free up, i see i have about 105-120mb free.. then the speeds pic up a bit. normal? of course, more memory it will increase phone speeds i know. but why is it so low?

Android :: Emulators - Games Are All Lagging
Oct 16, 2010I'm gonna be honest here... When I found out that i could have GBA and SNES emulators on my android, I made up my mind. I tryed it out a bit on my friend's Motorola Flipout and was working just perfectly. However, on my own Flipout, the games are all "laggy". Not to mention the music which plays one note every 1 second or so... bummer. I know it's not the ROM, for i have tested with the same one my friend used... so I'm guessing it's a setting in either the phone or the emulator. Any adeas? ps: I'm using the free versions of the gameboid and snesoid
