I am going to be recording a concert soon with the tape recorder app.I know it wont sound the best but hey I wanna try it out.My question is this what can i do to make sure no calls or texts or notifications pop up?should i just put the whole phone in airplane mode?

I'll be in the first few rows at a concert tomorrow and I'm wondering what the best camera settings would be for my EVO?Speed, etc.The concert will be in an ampitheater at dusk/night.
View 18 Replies View RelatedI went to the Dave Matthews Band concert in Columbus Tuesday night, and it got me thinking up some really cool app ideas.the first one would actually be possible: I was in dire need of another beer but my friends and I were in the middle of a very large crowd on the floor area, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to find them again. What if there was an app to save a group members cell number and locate them by gps on your return trip? they would probably have to enable location on their phone. you could have a couple dots much like google maps that show each of your locations.the other one is impossible most likely but it would be awesome. an app that tells you which beer/food line is the shortest, the prices, and its location.any devices out there wanna take on that first app idea?

It seems that call recording capability varies with individual models. I am considering switching from the Droid to the Incredible (Motorola disabled recording entirely), but I need to know if there is an app that will work.

Such an awesome camera and camcorder but it sounds like I am speaking through a damn kazoo. I am dying to know if it's firmware or just cheap hardware, not to sound bitter but the iphone has a SUPER high quality mic being that Incredible just came out I was very surprised at the low quality of the audio recording

Obviously the EVO has 720p recording, and purportedly so will the iphone, and there on, I am sure the windows 7 phone. They all will sport 8mp cams like that of the incredible. Does anyone actually know what prevents the HTC Incredible from recording in HD? Anyone with any insight into that sorta thing feel free to chime in. Cuz dang some HD recording would actually make me use the camcorder app.

I think he may use this phone for pron sometimes and when the GF reaches for the phone in the morning to check the weather, fooking autocomplete gives him away. Then he has to deal with being in the doghouse until next morning when she sees it again.

EDIT: I was told I need to update my radio. So for 2.15, I need to do unprovoked Forever. How do you do any of the other 2.xx radio updates. I remember something about unrooting your phone or something, but I can't find it anymore.
Is the Incredible's camera capable of 720p video recording? Do you think it will ever be released in an update? Is it even possible to enable this feature in an update? Any ideas are welcome.

Anybody have any idea why this would be in there? I know if the phone were 4g capable it would be LTE not WiMAX.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI plugged my phone into my laptop to charge, which I normally do. While it was charging, I decided to take a look at some files I had saved on the phone/microSD. However, when I went to the notification bar to change the USB connection setting, there was nothing there to change! I even went into Settings>Connect to PC and changed the setting to "Disk Drive", exited settings, unplugged the phone, and replugged it in, still nothing. The phone IS charging, but the computer doesn't recognize it. I even uninstalled the driver, hoping it would force the driver to be reinstalled by plugging the phone in again but still nothing. I tried different USB ports!

When viewing photos they show in the oldest first, How do you reverse that so that you can see the most recent pictures first? It is a pain to have to scroll all the way to then end of over 200 pictures to see the latest.
