I'll be in the first few rows at a concert tomorrow and I'm wondering what the best camera settings would be for my EVO?Speed, etc.The concert will be in an ampitheater at dusk/night.

I am going to be recording a concert soon with the tape recorder app.I know it wont sound the best but hey I wanna try it out.My question is this what can i do to make sure no calls or texts or notifications pop up?should i just put the whole phone in airplane mode?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI went to the Dave Matthews Band concert in Columbus Tuesday night, and it got me thinking up some really cool app ideas.the first one would actually be possible: I was in dire need of another beer but my friends and I were in the middle of a very large crowd on the floor area, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to find them again. What if there was an app to save a group members cell number and locate them by gps on your return trip? they would probably have to enable location on their phone. you could have a couple dots much like google maps that show each of your locations.the other one is impossible most likely but it would be awesome. an app that tells you which beer/food line is the shortest, the prices, and its location.any devices out there wanna take on that first app idea?

View 1 Replies View RelatedHas anyone found any extra settings for the EVO camera?I had an HTC Touch Pro and I found a registry patch/program on another forum that enabled an extra "Sports mode" for the HTC camera. It would take a series of pictures rapidly to capture quick action.Is there anything like that for the EVO camera?Also, the HTC camera software for the Touch Pro had a "Panorama mode" that allowed you to take 3 pictures side-by-side and stich them together. Really gonna miss that feature if it can't be enabled on the EVO.

I'm really struggling with the camera on the x10. I was expecting going from tocca ultra to SE, (both 8.1) to be quite similar in quality, but this ain't the case. Picture is half the size of the screen and pics during night are awful!! Cant even seem to find the flash.

Just wondering what everyone is using for camera settings. I'm getting great pictures outdoors but my pictures taken inside have a lot of noise (don't know if that's the term I want but they look fuzzy). I literally know nothing about cameras so I'm pretty hopeless figuring out this problem. And maybe some other camera noobs can get some good ideas from this thread too
View 5 Replies View Related1. after taking a picture, and clicking on the thumbnail to view it, have the phone let you view it in portrait, not landscape only.
2. on board image resizing, the 5, 3 and 2mp options dont cut it. let us choose 640x480(all MP's), 800X600(all MPs) 1024x768, etc..
3. when in camera settings, when you click back to get back to the options it closes the whole settings slider. which is annoying.
My camera stopped working. When I click my camera application I get the message "The application camera (process com.android.camera) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again". It's just a blank screen?

Every time I press it to use my camera it keeps lowering my ringer volume and when im in the camera mode(from app) it wont snap any pics, it just takes me back to my main page and lower the volume.
