View 2 RepliesI don't know very much about photography but want to get the most out of the camera that I can. My question is pretty simple: What is the best configuration of camera settings on the Incredible that would give it the best quality photos for day to day casual picture taking?
View 3 Replies View Relatedwhat camera settings are you guys using?
View 5 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know if the Incredible, or any Android phone for that matter, has a camera flash setting to reduce red eye? I just got my phone a week ago and have been playing around with it but I haven't see a setting for it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm Trying to fine tune the Camera settings and was wondering if you guys changed the settings around and got better Pictures/Video and what did you change your settings to? I'm more concerned about fine tuning the video Settings even though i know both the Camera/Camcorder share the same settings.

It would take a series of pictures rapidly to capture quick action. Is there anything like that for the EVO camera? Also, the HTC camera software for the Touch Pro had a "Panorama mode" that allowed you to take 3 pictures side-by-side and stich them together. Really gonna miss that feature if it can't be enabled on the EVO.
View 2 Replies View RelatedPlease post your camera setting for the evo and why you use it so we can get the Perfect Camera settings. My pictures seem to be a bit bland and dark so I increased brightness and saturation. Pictures tend to be a bit too sharp so I lowered it and iso just seems to make my pictures clearer. I dont know much about iso

View 11 Replies View RelatedFor the life of me can't tell which one is better! Have taken shots in both and can't tell...and I can't remember what I had it set for before the 2.2 upgrade. Which has the best picture?
View 3 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know if there is built in support for more advanced camera functionality within the Android API? I am speaking specifically about settings such as: Pseudo ISO Shutter Speed Aperture
Since the image is raw I have been planning on doing it in a post processing step as that is the common approach with digital imaging, yet I do not want to waste time recreating something which already exists. If anyone knows of a built in functionality in the Android 2 API.
What is the best settings to have the camera on so when i take pictures it comes out great.

On a side note is there a way to view videos recorded on the X10 in landscape mode rather than in portrait?
iam looking for a camera application, where i can set the settings as a widget.
Example: when i want to make a hdr shoot i want to start camera with hdr widget, when i make a normal shot i want to start camera with normal widget ...
I'm really struggling with the camera on the x10. I was expecting going from tocca ultra to SE, (both 8.1) to be quite similar in quality, but this ain't the case. Picture is half the size of the screen and pics during night are awful!! Cant even seem to find the flash.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI really love the Vibrants camera for outdoor pictures. However, I'm becoming increasingly frustrated at the picture quality in indoor settings, especially in low light. There are sooo many ways to tinker the settings!!! What makes for the best quality pictures in indoor, low-light settings?
I always use my cell phone camera as my primary camera. I love my Vibrant, but the camera quality is really making me consider going to a different device.
I cannot seem to find a self timer function in the camera settings for Motorola Droid? Is there no timer feature?
View 1 Replies View RelatedCan someone confirm a picture taken with the stock settings in the camera can now be sent via sms?
On my end, it will show compressing the pic, the recipient never receives. (No I am not connecting via wifi.)
Just wondering what everyone is using for camera settings. I'm getting great pictures outdoors but my pictures taken inside have a lot of noise (don't know if that's the term I want but they look fuzzy). I literally know nothing about cameras so I'm pretty hopeless figuring out this problem. And maybe some other camera noobs can get some good ideas from this thread too
View 5 Replies View Related1. after taking a picture, and clicking on the thumbnail to view it, have the phone let you view it in portrait, not landscape only.
2. on board image resizing, the 5, 3 and 2mp options dont cut it. let us choose 640x480(all MP's), 800X600(all MPs) 1024x768, etc..
3. when in camera settings, when you click back to get back to the options it closes the whole settings slider. which is annoying.
So I spent the last hour or more in my backyard in 107 degrees taking pictures of flowers at stock settings with both phones. NOT an easy task I will tell you that. My back hurts, but besides that... I did my best to show the best quality of BOTH cameras, because they are both great. I realize that not everyone will agree with me, or will think I messed with something in my pictures. But these are all completely stock settings, not messed with at all. I only touched the flash on/off button.
My decision is I like the X camera better, it is easier to focus, and much snappier. Plus designated camera button! I found on the Incredible while the pictures look great on the phone itself and in gallery, that as soon as they were uploaded the colours looked washed out and not as great. I know this is due to the AMOLED screen. But both overall great. My decision is the X though.
X FLASH:

NOTE: Inc would NOT focus any closer without being extremely blurry, tried a gazillion times.
X NO FLASH:

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm developing an application that tracks the user's current position and stores it into a SQLite database. Everything works fine, but now I have the problem when querying the database for a track with more than 1000 records it takes nearly 1.5 minutes. On my Desktop it just takes 1 second. I know it's a query with many subselects but I wasn't able to get the right result another way. In my opinion this belongs to the aggregate functions like avg() and sum().

I own a LG G2 D802 and I have SlimKat 2.4 installed.
Often important applications like Nova Launcher, LMT or Firefox will be closed and have to reload. I think it is caused by the RAM management but every time I look at it more than 500mb are free so how could I improve this behaviour?
I was just wondering if there was some developer app or trick to optimize the app icons on Jelly Bean to HD, instead of having them all blurry ? I used to have an iPod 4th Gen and there was an app in Cydia that would optimize the app icon to retina display, it was called iretiner >_> IS there a way to do this on Android ?
