I get an error when I try to update the radio. "update radio ignoring attempt to do multiple firmware updates" I don't know what I did wrong. I put PB13IMG.ZIP on sd card, it installed. Then DINC_OTA and renamed to update applied that. REBOOTED checked settings and its still not updated.

Just looked and the rom I loaded didnt load the 2.15 baseband, any idea of how to load just that file?

Complete Guide: Root, unrEVOked, Titanium, Tether, Nandroid, AdFree, animation, and remove apps.I then loaded Skyraider 2.5.2 a few days ago. Now I am wanting to upgrade my radio as it is still 1.0.Can someone point me to some instructions on upgrading my radio? Should I even mess with upgrading my radio?

When I power on, and hit hboot, I'm still seeing S-On, yet if I log into abb shell, su, I get "#", as well as now having the icon for "Superuser Permissions". Used both unrEVOked3 and forever in this process.
I've attempted to install the radio update "PB31IMG.zip" via root of SD card. I'm able to see / install it, yet baseband is still showing 1.00.03.04.06. I have W7, and have the option to "Hide extensions for known file types" off (Can't stand not seeing exactly what files are what). What am I missing? I've seen that others have had to do the "*22899 then *228 option 2", yet If it doesn't show it as being a valid install, I'm hesitant to try and reinstall it.

Today I rooted my DInc with Unrevoked Forever, then I Flashed the 8/1 Froyo Leak but I did not flash the Radio.
My Software Info is:
Android 2.2
BaseBand - 1.00.03.04.06
Kernel - 2.6.32.15 - g5e1ad8b htc-kernel@and 18-2 #1
PRI Version - 1.28.002
So far the phone works I have Market 2.2 etc, but I tested Hulu and found out that my "handset" doesn't work with this format. I'm not sure how to check for Flash 10.1 but some video worked on the Adobe flash player site.
May i know Android 2.1 available at Malaysia?

What are the benefits if any to updating to 2.9 version I see alot of people have? Sorry for the stupid question guys. View 3 Replies View RelatedI want to update my radio to 2.15 from 1.0. i put the pb31img zip on the root of my sd card, and did everything it said to do here: New Radio 2.15.00.07.28 for HTC Incredible from Adrynalyne but it doesn't actually ask me to update. it checks the file but then goes to the standard hboot menu. I'm running frankenrom 5 if it matters and I'm new to rooting and stuff so I'm probably making a simple mistake.

The phone is not rooted and I di follow the directions for those who did not root but after going to recovery the directions say to press power and the volume up button but it just takes me.to the first portion of that screen.

I have a stock ADP, firmware 1.0, no updates no mods and of course I want to get the latest features such as voice control, latitude etc, and so begins the fun. Why is there nothing official that can be easily found which states what is going on for people that own the ADP? I must have read dozens of articles showing update procedures and claiming to have leaked OFFICIAL developer updates and only recently did i find 2 thread that eventually end with something stating there is NO official update for developer phones yet.
I have 2 gripes about this:
1. Why no official and clear statement from the development team to clarify this before people start scrambling desperately to install leaked versions that are false? (I know I almost did) 2. Why as a developer do I have to wait for features that are already available to end users?
Will updating the radio effect my ability to update my roaming capability on on Verizon calling *228?

Anytime I try and run the update in recovery I get the error message...
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command (this comes up before even trying to run the update)
I'm running CyanogenMod6 Test8 right now, with the 1.X radio. if I update the radio to 2.X, and install the skyraider ROM, what happens if I just get so sick of sense that I go into rom manager and restore to my previous CyanogenMod6 Test8? Will the radio still be 2.X? Would I still be able to switch between ROMs as easily as I do now, only difference being my radio is updated?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recieved the ota update this morning and tried to install. while the phone did its thing with the power off i would get an exclamation point and with any button press would bring me into clockwork. I have no idea how to get the 2.2 update working and upon reboot of the phone i go to setting and check for software updates and am told it is up to date. If i go to the about phone section I am still running 2.1update1. Is it because my phone is rooted that I can not update? I do not care for root capabilities as my friend did it for me and wireless tether can be done natively. I have done a factory reset twice now but i can not get this froyo update to work.

I click on it and it asks to install now or later. It is an android update saying it will update the vcast suite of apps. Well I have uninstalled that crap with Titanium backup. Whatever, im adventurous and I tell it to install and it says ii will reboot and it never does. It says it is downloaded but it just never installs and it is getting annoying.

Since then, occasionally when I go from one app and then click the home button, it flashes and then shows the HTC white screen and then it takes time to load all my home screens back up. FM radio is a little picky, but works fine- depending on the points mentioned. Old & wrong: The FM radio on the Inc must be the weakest radio in a phone, evah! Just tried it today and picks up half the channels my Ngage and N900 pick up well. A lot of channels barely come in, or are static filled. I thought Steely Dan said "FM has no static at all"? Makes the CDMA radio seem not that bad, in comparison I know- at LEAST it has a radio. Must be set to suppa powwa savva mode
