Sep 18, 2010I'm trying to use my HTC Aria to listed on a radio station's "listen live" feature for football broadcasts. On the PC it will use Windows Media Player. I notice that it might be powered or affiliated with "broadcast monsters". When i try it on my Aria, i get a download of an ".asx" file and is says it can't play that.

Sep 26, 2010If I use the built in FM-radio with the x10 mini pro headset, with the FM-radio turned on, the radio stops when a call comes in. The button to take the call doesn't respond however. Is this normal behavior? It does work with music.

Apr 30, 2010The new Incredible site lists a Gallery application that brings in your Picasa Web Albums. I've already installed the apk for the Gallery app that was on the Droid. And as far as I've seen, the Incredible doesn't come with such an app. Anyone else? Go to Features then Feature Apps, then Gallery Apps.

Sep 22, 2010I'm using Frankenrom, and used Titanium to restore my email account settings.
Exchange from my PC is being pushed to my phone, but I can't add anything new from my phone. From the calendar program, if I select Menu-->More-->Calendars, my Exchange calendar isn't listed.
Also, if I go to the main Menu-->Account & Sync, there is no Exchange or Activesync listed. If I go to Add Account, I can select Exchange ActiveSync and it has my account info in it. Clicking Save, it just thinks for a bit then closes. Clicking Discard does pretty much the same thing.
Where could I look to manually delete my ActiveSync account?. Basically I'm looking for a config file somewhere to delete. I'm guessing it is like this since I used Titanium to restore account settings rather than setting it up manually.

I see in the Android Market that it lists compatibility for Droid 1 and Droid X and then also shows Droid Incredible. Has anyone had success using this new App to root their Incredible? If so, thoughts? Should you use the Easy Root App or unr EVOked3?

Sep 13, 2010I want to use the Favorites App to make it easier to call frequently used numbers. However, I discovered that if I, for instance, put my best friend's cell phone number as a favorite icon I can no longer find his contact to add his home number to a favorites icon. The app seems to allow for only one favorite icon per contact. I am sure I am doing something wrong and there must be a way to have two favorite icons for the same contact but different phone numbers such as home and cell.In addition, sometimes when I add a contact to the Favorites app, the contact is no longer listed or searchable under People. Weird, no?

May 3, 2010Depends on the size and gauge of the wire of your headphones. Also depends on the position of the wires. FM radio is a little picky, but works fine- depending on the points mentioned. Old & wrong: The FM radio on the Inc must be the weakest radio in a phone, evah! Just tried it today and picks up half the channels my Ngage and N900 pick up well. A lot of channels barely come in, or are static filled. I thought Steely Dan said "FM has no static at all"? Makes the CDMA radio seem not that bad, in comparison I know- at LEAST it has a radio. Must be set to suppa powwa savva mode

May 1, 2010I'm wondering how to add words to the dictionary (aside from going into menu>settings>language & keyboard) like I used to be able to with my droid. If i was texting along and came to a word that wasn't in the dictionary, I could just long press and then select "add to dictionary". Well this phone doesn't have that option and so I'm wondering if I'm just missing it or what..?

I can generate an object-apace normal map already from my 3D modeler, but what I'm not completely clear on is whether or not the Normal coordinates array will be necessary any longer if implementing a 2nd texture unit for normal mapping, or will Lighting + Color Texture Combined with a Normal map via the DOT3_RGB option be all that is required?
EDIT - After researching DOT3 Lighting a bit further, I'm not sure if the answer given by ognian is correct. This page, [url] gives an example of it's usage and if you look at the "Rendering & Final Result" section bit of code, there is no normal array ClientState for Normal Arrays is never enabled.
I also found this post here,[url] which explains it well... but leads me to another question. In the comments, it's stated that instead of translation of normals, you translate light direction. I'm confused about this as if I have a game with a stationary wall... why would I move the light around just for one model? Hoping someone can give a good explanation of all of this...

HTC Incredible :: Memory Used By Unknown File Running In Background
Aug 11, 2010I woke up this morning to a song playing from my phone that I made with xPiano about 2 weeks ago. I have no idea why this file was activated and when I looked at my task killer, most of my phone's memory had been used up but no programs were running in the background. I've never seen it get this low even when using 20 programs at a time. I've been using a mixture of apps that I've downloaded off of my computer and through the market. Is there any way that someone has access to my device and can look through all of my files/folders? Are there any known hacks/Trojans/viruses that do this?

Sep 19, 2010My phone died on me Saturday night so I took it home and put it on the charger. When it came back on, it told me my software had been successfully updated to some kind of version 3.2.something. I didn't pay attention to what it said had been updated, I just thought "cool" and hit OK. Well once I hit ok, things start force closing. I reset the phone and Color Notes stops unexpectedly immediately. Lots of my widgets say "Problem loading gadget". At least 3 out of 5 on each home screen. Lots of my apps will not open. They open then immediately close. Lookout will not initialize. Pandora closes immediately. Also, I lost most all of my contacts. My Google contacts are still there, but all the Phone contacts are gone. My call log is gone. Internet history. Some settings are gone like default program settings and sound settings. My wallpaper, emails from my Gmail account as well as settings, unlock password, calendar entries, and some other things are still there on the phone. I have NO IDEA what the hell happened, but I would really like to try to get this fixed without hard resetting my phone.

I can use Facebook, play games, look at wikidroid, etc. and battery life seems "normal" but while using the browser it will use 10 percent in 10 minutes. I have timed it, I was at 60 percent, browsed the forums here for 10 minutes and was at 51 percent afterwards. Is this normal?
I am rooted and have 2.2, I have tried the stock browser and Dolphin HD and both do the same thing.

HTC One X Is Not Listed On ADB
Jul 13, 2013I want to debug applications I developed on my phone but I can't.I have an HTC One X with Android 4.1.1 and Windows 7x64. But when I run adb devices the list is always empty. Here a few things I tried.
- I have installed HTC Drivers with ot without the HTC Sync Manager
- I am sure USB debugging mode is enabled
- I just downloaded the Android SDK and checked the version it is the most current.
- I tried turning pc or phone on and off again.
- I tried killing adb process and running it over and over again.
- and here my device manager

Am I missing something, if I couldn't find the right drivers where are they, should not HTC's official dirvers work properly?
HTC Incredible :: 3g Goes Off / Flash 2.15 Radio?
Oct 14, 2010A long time ago I upgraded to the 2.15 radio. Everything worked great except for one thing. Occasionally (once every 2-3 days) my 3g goes off and I can't turn it back on. I'll toggle airplane mode to no avail. Is there a way I can re flash the 2.15 radio? I wouldn't even mind returning to stock before re-rooting if thats what it takes.
