HTC Incredible :: Phone Work In Europe?
Apr 15, 2010Could a phone geek (that is a good thing ) tell me if the HTC Incredible has network that would work in Europe? I already ordered the Desire but I would rather buy the Incredible.

HTC Magic :: Phone From Canada Can Work In Europe?
Aug 7, 2009I have the HTC Magic phone from Rogers (Canada) and I just recently unlock the phone. I�m planning to go on a trip in Europe where I can buy one of those Prepaid SIM card for GSM and use it with my HTC Magic phone. Since my phone is unlocked it should work. However, I understand the phone might operate on different frequencies on Nord America vs. Europe; the big question is, can the phone support the European frequencies? I was wondering if anybody had successfully used their HTC Magic in Europe.

Apr 2, 2010This summer I am going to four different countries in Europe for a vacation. I was planning on bringing my Droid to mainly take pics/videos, listen to my music, and send some texts. Maybe make 1 or 2 emergency calls and thats about it. I know we have the NATIONWIDE SELECT FAMILY SHARE SECONDARY 2100 plan, but not sure how that will carry out in Europe. I need to go into Verizon to make sure, but was hoping to get a idea of how it will work out there from here. Do I get charged out the rear for anything I do, data, texts, calls?

Nov 26, 2010I have just recieved my HTC Desire Z from Hong Kong and I've noticed the languages available are quite limited, especially the keyboard input which only has the Thai input option.
Is there a way I can change this or change the OS from the Asia pacific region to the Europe one?
Also, I was under the impression that the Desire Z would have the swype function. Was I mistaken as I cannot locate it?

Jul 14, 2010OK, got my EVO. Like it a-lot. We decided to take avacation to England. Checked with Sprint and was told the Evo is not able to be used in England. Even though I can't use it as a phone I thought it woud be great to use he EVO as a GPS while in England. Is there a way I to use a GPS map program without a connection, just using the GPS connection?

Sep 30, 2010I didn't find anything specific for the incredible. I can not get this to open on my inc. i download it, it gets to 100% than says installing and a second later it says install unsuccessful. Can any of you guys get this to work on your inc.? I am on 2.2 froyo.

Aug 4, 2010when I'm at work I want Tasker to automatically forward my calls to my work phone. It can do that w/ its autodial feature. Now, I know that *72 will forward my calls to the number I specify, and *73 will disable that once I leave the defined area. The problem is that I use YouMail, and apparently *73 is the code for disabling the *71 busy/answer forwarding as well. It seems stupid that verizon used one code to disable 2 different features. How do I disable the *72 feature w/o disabling the *71 one?

HTC Incredible :: How Email Work On Incredible
Apr 17, 2010I am making the jump from a Palm Treo to the Incredible. Came very very close to getting the Droid and then a friend told me to hold out for the Incredible. From everything that I am reading I am really glad that I have waited. Anyway, I use AOL and gmail. How is it expected these email accounts will work with the Incredible? Will I get instant notification of a new email, will I have to set it up to check each account for a time frame I specify or will I manually have to open the email and check it? I know that this may be a basic question, however on my Palm I have to manually go into my email and download messages.

HTC Incredible :: 3d Games That Work On The Incredible
May 21, 2010Gameloft Gangstar: West Coast Hustle works well as a GTA clone. Menu is glitchy when driving but game works ok. Can run over pedestrians.
Gameloft Dungeon Hunter works well as a hack and slash dungeon game. This is the best working game right now.
Sandstorm however - nothing but grief. At least so far.
Tried Quake 1 on the phone but the controls are terrible and can't cheat so it sucked. Have not seen working doom or duke nukem ports.
HTC Incredible : Can't Get My MMS To Work
Oct 10, 2010For some reason I can't get my MMS to work. It's always been buggy, ie a message comes in and it won't download the first time and normally I have to go into the messaging app for it to work right. But yesterday I sent an MMS and my friend didn't get it. I tried again with another person and same thing. Then today another friend sent me an MMS and I can't open it in Handcent or Messaging. I'm rooted with Virtuous Rom.PS - Now the message just says downloading on Handcent and on the Messages app and I can't cancel it to retry. Just sits there forever.
