View 7 RepliesJust sitting here browsing and can feel this heat commin from the left side. It's comming from the base of the charger. The cable is also warm about a 1/4 way up. I'm sure charging and using it comsumes a bit of power. The battery is probably only 25% charged and I'm quite certain in stops charging once full. Maybe its normal but seems excessive to me.

I'm wondering if these two issues are related. Does anyone else have a problem with their phone battery getting warm?
View 18 Replies View RelatedI have noticed that my phone gets warm whenever I am on a phone call this applies whether it up to my ear or using the bluetooth. It is not super hot (maybe 39C) but it does make it a little uncomfortable to hold against my ear, face or just hand. Am I the only one? Any idea about the cause?ETA it does not get nearly this warm when I am using the data, surfing the web, etc.

View 12 Replies View RelatedOk so my bluetooth headset is usually planted on my ear and ON for the most part of the day. Today I decided to give my Incredible a whirl with using it as a music player while in my car, so that I don't have to also carry my ipod. Plugged it in to my auxiliary jack and music sounded GREAT! Then I received a phone call and the phone rang through the speakers, which I expected, as well as expected to hear the voice of the caller....what i DIDN'T realize was that my bluetooth was on my ear but OFF for the entire conversation and I was talking back through the car's speakers!! I don't have bluetooth in my car so found this pretty awesome and thought I'd share this small wonder with anyone else who might be interested
View 36 Replies View RelatedGot my Incredible yesterday and I have noticed a problem that is really bugging me. When I call people, at random my ear piece seems to give a noisy/scratchy feedback. The other party does not hear it, but I hear it through the ear piece. It is not when they speak, but only when I do, as if the microphone is producing feedback that comes through the speaker.
I have also noticed that I found myself asking what people say a lot, as if though they are muffled or using the speaker phone when they are, in fact, not.
I called Verizon and they are going to have me swap it out at the store tomorrow, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this issue. Hopefully it is just a rare incident.
I feel Verizon has it out for me since they also ported my number when my phone was still with FedEx in Memphis. Either that, or I just have really bad luck.
I had been using IMEasy for its multiple-account capability, I found my phone running warm when multiple accounts were connected though, and the battery drained fast; down to 70% in 3 hours in a poor signal area. I thought it was the poor signal. Installed Trillian yesterday, it's connected to 3 IM accounts and after 5 hours I'm only down to 90%, in the same area. I've been a happy Trillian user on the PC, I already had an Astra account from that so setup was SIMPLE. I HIGHLY suggest this app, though it's still in Beta and it IS missing a couple options I would like they're not critical issues to me, and I'm sure they'll fix them.
Beta is available from their site, Trillian - IM, Astra, Windows Live, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, MySpace, AIM, Email, and more!
I know this sounds like an ad but I'm just a happy customer.
The 2 missing items (maybe one really) are the ability to set the notification tone in the app and the ability to change the notification LED color in the app.
I've noticed my incredible gets rather warm in 2 situations:
1. When it is charging
2. When I browse the web and/or play a game for more than 5 minutes.
Does anyone else experience this? Is it something I should be concerned about, or is it the same with all of the incredible's?
So randomly after the update, may be coincidence, people cannot hear me while talking on the phone. I am new to android so I am not sure of everything to check. Anyone have this happen or might now where to check for reasons for this happening?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI picked up the EVO 4G on Friday and like it thus far. However, the phone does not seem to recharge while using the phone or while playing games (I'm addicted to RoboDefender already ). Is this normal? I've only charged it from my workstation and laptop so far. Does the phone gain charge from the included USB adapter? Can I use a dual-lead USB cable to get charged on the laptop/workstation (cables with one data USB cable and one for power)?

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust got my sprint hero last week. I noticed that while talking on the phone for longer than 5 minutes the phone seems to get extremely hot. In particular the speaker in the front and where the camera is in the back. The heat generated is really intense and is really uncomfortable after a certain amount of time. What I want to know is anybody else having this issue?
View 17 Replies View RelatedI have been having a problem with my eris lately. About 2-3 times a week, while on the phone, ill hear the start up sound of my eris, still talking to people on the phone, look and the eris has restarted, but im still on the phone. eventually it will cut off the call and finish starting up....has anyone had this problem. I thought it might be a problem with one of the apps, so i reformated back to like new, and ran it for 2 days before it did it again. Thanks

View 3 Replies View RelatedI understand that the hero has no proximity sensor, and so does not lock the screen while talking on the phone. So has anyone been having problems with pressing on-screen buttons with their face and stuff? Has the absence of the proximity sensor been an issue with the Hero?

View 28 Replies View RelatedMy wife's phone keeps beeping when she talks to people. It sounds like she is just mashing keys the whole time she is talking but the phone is against her face. I told her to make sure it is resting against her cheek so that her cheek isn't randomly hitting buttons on the dial pad but that still doesn't help.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI got my fascinate yesterday and it's amazing. However, so far there is one thing I noticed that I hope I can get some input on: I used to have the original Droid and I was able to use the phone while I had my earbuds on. I could talk into the speaker while listening to the other end on earbuds. It was very convenient that I didn't have to take them out when I was listening to music while I got a call or made one.
Now, I found out that with my fascinate I cannot do this. I got a call this morning while I was listening to music and I answered the call with my head phones on. I could hear the other person but the other person couldn't hear me. Then, I had to take out the ear buds and speak on the phone. Is there a way to work around this or am i stuck doing this from now on?? I really hate the phone mic headphones bc they suck and I love using my current ear buds.
How can i write small information while i'm talking to someone on the phone?

View 25 Replies View RelatedThe biggest talking point with this phone seems to be the size. Id be curious to see some numerical opinions! I myself have been waffling: at first I thought "Oh, way too big". Then this picture made me think its not the much larger than similar phones and I was getting it for sure! But this pic has me wondering. Looks pretty giant in her hand:
So: What do YOU think about the size? If you havent seen yet, engadget has a gallery of 50 some pictures.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter a brief hiccup yesterday I managed to flash, with Rom Manager, TpT on my Evo. Since it gave me the option of using Kings #11 CFS, I gave it a shot but it caused screen tearing all over the place. I re-flashed with just the Rom itself and its been working great, but the kernel is still the stock HTC #11.Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't TpT supposed to come with a custom kernel from Adrynalyne(from what I gathered by reading on other forum posts)?
