Jun 6, 2010I picked up the EVO 4G on Friday and like it thus far. However, the phone does not seem to recharge while using the phone or while playing games (I'm addicted to RoboDefender already ). Is this normal? I've only charged it from my workstation and laptop so far. Does the phone gain charge from the included USB adapter? Can I use a dual-lead USB cable to get charged on the laptop/workstation (cables with one data USB cable and one for power)?

Oct 21, 2009Just got my sprint hero last week. I noticed that while talking on the phone for longer than 5 minutes the phone seems to get extremely hot. In particular the speaker in the front and where the camera is in the back. The heat generated is really intense and is really uncomfortable after a certain amount of time. What I want to know is anybody else having this issue?

About 2-3 times a week, while on the phone, ill hear the start up sound of my eris, still talking to people on the phone, look and the eris has restarted, but im still on the phone. eventually it will cut off the call and finish starting up....has anyone had this problem. I thought it might be a problem with one of the apps, so i reformated back to like new, and ran it for 2 days before it did it again. Thanks

Sep 30, 2010I got my fascinate yesterday and it's amazing. However, so far there is one thing I noticed that I hope I can get some input on: I used to have the original Droid and I was able to use the phone while I had my earbuds on. I could talk into the speaker while listening to the other end on earbuds. It was very convenient that I didn't have to take them out when I was listening to music while I got a call or made one.
Now, I found out that with my fascinate I cannot do this. I got a call this morning while I was listening to music and I answered the call with my head phones on. I could hear the other person but the other person couldn't hear me. Then, I had to take out the ear buds and speak on the phone. Is there a way to work around this or am i stuck doing this from now on?? I really hate the phone mic headphones bc they suck and I love using my current ear buds.

Nov 21, 2010When I record a video using Talking Tom and email it to myself, I get an error message when I try to play it on my droid x. It does play on the PC however and others can also play it. I've also tried saving it to my sd card but it doesn't play. Any ideas?

Sep 7, 2009I did a search and nada. When I get a missed call I get the icon on the status bar. When I hit phone button it shows me who called me and return the call. However, the icon is still there. I have found that I have to go into the 'people' contact list and look the person up and then press the 'call history' in order for the icon to go away. Anyone know of an easier way?

Jan 16, 2014I'm running 4.4.2 on nexus 5. All I'm trying to do is put a custom carrier logo image in the top left of my status bar. I used the method in this thread- [URL] to do it. Although this is for ICS roms specifically, I compared both status_bar.xml's from KK and ICS and they are VERY simlar. So I figured this would work. I like to do most of my themeing with the use of zip themer so I built a custom image (yes, its the correct size) called "carrier_logo.png" and stuck it my drawable-xxhdpi folder and added that line of code to my status_bar.xml and flashed the update.zip. When I reboot, the phone is in chaos and I get a repeated message over and over that systemUI has stopped, plus my status bar is completely gone lol. I'm assuming that line of code is just not compatible with KK systemui. So...how do I go about calling an image from my drawable-xxhdpi folder into the status bar's top left corner from my status_bar.xml?
