Has anyone had any experience with a personal article policy rather than the 7.99 a month insurance through asurion and verizon? A co-worker of mine pays 7 dollars a year with no deductible and tells me they cover full retail value replacement cost.

View 7 Replies View RelatedThis thread won't be up long as mods always delete/lock my threads, but here is my experience with returning my Incredible and cancelling my order.
The CSR at Verizon, who was finally able to cancel my Inc replacement, mentioned something about my card being charged full retail when it goes back to the warehouse. I was like "WTF?". I ordered my original for $199.
She told me that when they are shipped back to the warehouse, they don't read the notes on your account and people are being charged the full retail price. She offered to monitor my account to ensure this does not happen.
Not sure about the whole dynamics of this, but its salt in the wound for me.
Just a heads up for anyone returning a defective Inc. that see a mysterious five hundred and some dollar charge from Verizon.
After the newest listen update when I try to listen to a podcast a notice pops up that downloading is against the phone's policy. I am using a G1. Is anyone else getting this error.

When I am typing an sms response I would still like to see the most recent text but it covers everything and also in browser and stuff it just takes the whole screen up. Is there any way to fix this and at least see a little bit of the top of the screen?

I was thinking that I could just pickup the Motorola Droid from Best But for 19.99 and return it later when the Incredible was in stock. Do they have the 30 return like the Verizon store? Also Walmart has them for the same price so does anyone know their return policy?

I've just got a new Hero and before I replaced the bundled memory card with my own I had a really nice 'view' for browsing tracks in Music. Now I've put my own memory card in and applied the album art, I don't have this nice view any more. It used to show tracks with big album art pics that you could flick through horizontally, iPhone style. Now I get a crappy looking vertical list with tiny pics and can't get the other view back. How do I do this ?

I'm getting my Desire soon, and I'm worried about protecting the phone properly. Specifically, I've heard that people have problems with the camera lens getting scratched because the phone rests on it if you lay it down on its back. Are there any cheap cases out there that can help solve the resting-on-the-lens problem? A cheap gel case off of ebay would be ideal.Also, what other steps should I take to protect the camera lens?

I am using ITunes and DoubleTwist but can not seem to get the Album Art to show or copy to my device. I have dragged a copy of a music folders directly to my device with the system files including the art work and that works fine. But that means I have to set up all my play lists in driod again which is a PIA. Just curious to see if anyone has it working as we would expect. Click sync and viola playlists with album covers!

What I mean by battery cover is the piece of plastic you remove to get to the battery and sim card, maybe also called the backplate. Because all the accessories I see on eBay are just covers for the cover itself. In video reviews, the vibrant has two battery covers that are different. I was thinking of something along those lines so I can swap up battery covers if I get bored of one.
