HTC Incredible :: Phone Storage Is FULL
Jun 14, 2010My phone is telling me that my storage is FULL. There is NO way that is possible. When I go to settings, it says I have 6.43GB free. How the hell do I fix this?

HTC Incredible :: Internal Phone Storage Full / Unavailable
May 2, 2010I connected the Incredible to my mac and did not touch the internal storage; I just created a folder on the SD card to move a ringtone over from my laptop. Now, when I load up the camera, I get a message: Phone storage is full or unavailable. Storage has been switched to SD card.
UPDATE: I just shut it down. After rebooting, it was able to read the internal phone storage. Not sure why it did that.

Have 11G of 14 on SD card, but only 25MB free on internal phone storage.
Just got a text message that wouldnt come thru, and it said 'no text message space left'.
Just uninstalled somethings that were 10MB, now giving me 35MB free but
I keep getting texts, the phone vibrates , which it wasn't set to do, and says 'text memory full'. I am assuming it is vibrating to give me a warning.
Can I clear some of the text memory, or must I clear all of it. And if so for either, how do I do this.
I have moved apps to sd card that makes sense.
How can I free up more space.
HTC Incredible :: Trouble Mounting Internal Phone Storage And Sd Storage
Aug 22, 2010For some reason my Incredible won't mount both the internal phone storage and the SD card storage at the same time. What I mean is...when I plug my phone into my PC I only get a single popup asking to mount the phone's SD card storage, but not the internal phone storage.If I remove the SD card (or unmount the SD card using menus on the phone) and then toggle the connection type from Disk Drive, to Charge only, and then back to Disk Drive (to burp the connection), the internal phone storage will mount, but the SD card won't mount because it has been removed.When I connect my wife's incredible, my computer sees both the SD card storage and the internal storage (as expected) and gives me prompts for both. I took the SD card from the problematic phone and put it in the "good" phone and there are no issues at all (IE.. both the internal storage and SD storage mount). This of course means there is no issue with the SD card.

May 13, 2010So if I do a Factory Reset on the phone it still has some of the old photos/videos I took, which leads me to believe it doesn't fully clear the device of everything, just the settings that I changed are returned to their factory defaults (duh!).I was curious if I do the Clear Storage option, which means turning off the device and holding one of the volume toggles while holding the power button - would that mean that the entire Android OS would be removed, or does it mean it does a format of the phones entire partition and re-installs Android (similar to a reformat/recovery partition on a computer)? In which case I would need to reactivate the phone doing the simple *228.

Dec 27, 2013A while back I tried to install CM on my friends LG G2. We installed CWM, made a backup and everything went well, until we were done flashing the ROM. It wouldn't boot, and after a few tries we decided to use download mode to reset everything back to stock. Everything is fine now, except I think the backup is still there. There's only a little more space left, but he only has about 4gb of data on the phone. We looked at all the folders and nothing was taking up all that space.
How can we delete that stuff taking up all the space? Would a normal factory reset work, or do we need to get CWM on there again to delete that backup?
General :: Rooted THL W200 / 4.2.1 - Internal Storage Full
May 1, 2014My rooted THL W200 has a fat I mean a huge portion of the internal memory crushed by something. See screenshot.
I'm so low on internal storage that I can barely do anything. It's crippling my phones basic functionality. Is my OS bloated or what. Is a clean install of 4.2.1 really over 500mb!!!
So far I have tried wiping the dalvik cache with an app, barely freed anything. Is there anything I can do. Bare in mind that the default recovery is running and it's entirely in chinese so how to use it and getting CWM doesn't appear to be too simple on this phone.

Oct 16, 2013why my Android's internal storage is full. I don't think I have anything on there except for the 18 stock apps I have (including apps like titanium backup, and Link2SD that came with my ROM). I've gotten rid of all the bloatware on the phone, deleted most of my cache, and moved all of my downloaded apps to the SD card. I've even gone as far as to replace the web browser with Opera mini (and put it on the SD card), and prevented the device from installing a 10 MB update for the google play store. Even though the phone only has 14 MB (138/152 MB), I would think that would be more than enough to receive text messages. The phone doesn't even want me to do that.
I do have a few thoughts as to what could be causing this problem. First off, even after I've deleted an app via titanium backup, the app still appears in titanium backup with a line through it. This leads me to believe that the app still has data left on the phone. Second, I'm thinking Link2SD isn't actually moving all of the app to the SD card. In that case, I guess I don't have any choice but to remove all of my extra apps.
I actually have one solution that may or may not work. If I could somehow make the device treat my extra (32 GB) SD card into thinking it's the phone's external storage, then I wouldn't have to worry about overloading it at all. Would this work flawlessly?

Mar 23, 2014I'm attempting to support my daughter with her GS3. The device is currently in SAFE MODE and and the storage is nearly full. She also has said the device has been rebooting on its own. She is currently deleting apps she is not using. She does not have an SD card installed. I know how to get around my BlackBerry, but am unfamiliar with the ins and outs of Android. Her device is the Sprint version running 4.3. How to get her device back in top running condition.

SD card
Total space: 3.69 GB
Available space: 2.67 GB
Internal Phone Storage
Total Space 6.60 GB
Available space: 6.06 GB
Phone memory
Total space: 748 MB
Available space: 636 MB
So all in all to me it looks like I should have plenty of space.

It said "Phone storage low" and when you press it it brings you to "Manage applications" On her Contacts Storage it was taking 89mb. Does this mean she's not linked up to google? May 27, 2010This is not a perfect solution but it does give a work around to the fact that, even though you can set the phone to not have the screen shut off when plugged in, you still have the problem of it dimming to lowest setting. Anyway, what I did to fix this was to download a program on the app store called keep screen. It gives you the option to make it so that the screen doesn't time out or dim for certain apps. What I did was just go in and select all apps and tell it to not dim on any of them.
Then on the front page of this app there is a button to "start/stop service" I use this button like a toggle. If my phone is plugged in I toggle that button and toggle it off when I unplug. It is not a perfect solution and requires manually doing the toggling but it's the best solution I have found to keep the screen and brightness up when my phone is plugged in. Anyway, just thought I would share in case anyone else was looking for a solution for this. Also, if anyone has found a better way of doing this i would love to hear it.

Aug 21, 2010I have an Incredible. It has 8GB of internal storage and I've installed an 8GB microSD card. When I plug the thing in via USB, I have two drives that appear on Windows. One shows total capacity of 6.59GB and the other is 7.39GB. I guess my question is: I think I understand that the 7.39GB one is the microSD card. It's getting full. It appears that everything gets stored there. My question is, why do I have a 6.59GB drive available that never seems to get used? Is the purpose to manually put MP3s and such on this instead of the microSD card? With 2.2 (SkyRaider ROM), can I move apps to this internal storage?
