HTC Incredible :: Mms - Message Expired Or Unavailable
Sep 20, 2010Since the 2.2 update I have not noticed this till now....I have no problem sending a mms to my daughter and mother who are on my verizon account but when I try sending a mms to someone that is not on my verizon account but they have verizon they get it or get "message expired or unavailable" if they are on another carrier they just never get it.....I have pulled the battery and it still does not work....

Sep 7, 2010So i got the ota for 2.2 on last tuesday. i hit the button to download now, it said my sd card was safe to remove, and thats it. looked in settings and still running 2.1 and system is up to date. called vz said they haven't heard of this, they called htc and said nothing to do but wait and the system SHOULD notice and try again within 2 weeks....(sucks) my wife got the update msg last thursday same thing happened.

Sep 4, 2010before froyo I would be able to hit the top button during an incoming call, the phone would silent and the caller wouldn't know I am sending him/her to voicemail. Now this is no longer an option. I had to swipe up to decline, swipe down to answer. Anyone else notice this? Need to test what swipe up to decline actually does. I've also noticed that GMAIL app no longer refreshes for mail automagically and some apps rotate only one way, like market, most of the top does not work in portrait. Ex: Just now I start Market in Portrait, it opens in landscape and won't switch...Anyone else notice little things like this? Maybe there is some re-configuration/re-calibration that needs to be done after FROYO 2.2 OTA update? Wish Verizon would have given us a heads up

Mar 13, 2010I am trying to download mp3 files from my file server onto my Droid. Everytime I try to download a song I get the error message Download Unsuccessful. I thought it was a problem with my server but all of my computers can download from it, and I just went and got my mom's Droid ERIS to test. It could successfully download mp3 files from the server. This is ridiculous, why wouldn't my Droid be able to download these files but the ERIS can? Is this a case of Droid DOESN'T?

Nov 11, 2010I had a call/sms blocker installed. Easy filter I believe. I've unblocked the person and now when ever I try to call i get a message saying the number is no longer in service.
Or when I try to text my phone gives me an error of class 255 cause 3. Now this person can send me texts just fine but for some reason my phone will not send anything to them.
I've uninstalled the app. reinstalled and unblocked again. done a naand restore, wipe, and everything I can think of. I just don't get why my phone is doing this.

May 16, 2013I have a old motorola g3 phone (however it is for verizon ). I can no longer download my photos and videos to my pc. the pc no longer lists it on my cumputer when I plug it in. That turns out not to be the case: the "Lite" version is actually a "demo" version that stops working after a while (apparently a week, if I have my dates straight).
Apart from the fact that it's deceptive advertising to promote a time-limited demo as a "Lite" version, the full version is still not available for purchase in the market.

HTC Incredible : Handcent - Whenever Send A Message It Says Message Failed - Retry Cancel
May 19, 2010My problem is this, I downloaded Handcent and really like it, however, I can't send messages from home. I have marginal service here (around -98 avg.) but I do get 3G. Whenever I send a message it says Message Failed - Retry, Cancel? I've even had this problem in places with great coverage for both 3G and cell service. The stock messaging app works just fine. So what I've been doing is receiving messages with Handcent and then sending them using the stock app.
So, does anyone have any ideas of what I can do? Are there any settings that can be changed? Does handcent use 3G to send messages?
I'm now trying Chomp to see if that's any better. And, just an FYI, I'm having trouble with text messages, not MMS. I haven't tried sending any pics or videos yet, I've just been sending SMS.

In short, Steve Jobs claims Flash drains the battery of mobile devices; it?s not very good for multi-touch operation, and its performance, reliability and security are all shoddy. It?s also a proprietary system, and while Jobs admits that their mobile OS is also proprietary, he claims that web standards should be open, like HTML5, CSS and JavaScript. Since rooting, 3 of my apps have had updates.
Super Slot - download unsuccessful
BatteryTime Lite - download unsuccessful
Paper Toss - worked fine
Can someone try to update/download super slot or batterytime lite and see if you can do it successfully?
I doubt it's a market issue, but I wanted to rule that out.
I also installed ad free android earlier. I have since uninstalled it, but is it possible it left the host file on the system and that's blocking the download? Do all apps get downloaded from google or do they actually get downloaded from the developer's site through the market? I'd be surprised if it's the 2nd one, so that's probably not the issue either.

I should be getting mine tonight, and plan on plugging it in when i get it but just want to make sure it won't harm the battery to leave it plugged in overnight for longer than 8 hours.
