There are some apps that aren't appearing in the market. Setting Profiles Full. I have paid for the full version of this app and now i can't download an update because it's not showing up.2) Launcherpro Not pearing in market. Is there a way to install these files some other way, not going through market? Why are they missing?

My family has got three android phones, an HTC Hero, a Samsung Galaxy, and a T-Mobile Pulse, all are running android 1.5 with the latest manufacturer firmware. On the T-Mobile Pulse, when searching for a couple of apps (ones that I have installed on the other two devices), I get returned 'no matches'. For example, if I search for 'BrightAI', which is a developer who has around 8 apps on the market, I get no matches. If I search for individual apps, I get 'no matches'. Searching for the same on either the Hero or Galaxy returns the expected results. Does anyone have any ideas why certain apps are accessible on one device, but not the other?
View 10 Replies View RelatedBetween looking around here and on androidzoom, I found a couple of apps I want. Problem when I use myphone to access the market, it says that they aren't there. Specifically, I am looking for Launcherpro beta and Adobe Reader. If I find them in androidzoom and scan the barcode its not there either. Short of rooting my phone to install market enabler, is there anything else I can do ?? Or are these not appearing because they won't run on 1.6 ?

Raging Thunder game Theres a pt.2 but aso not available. More icons paid Latest swype. to name a few. is there anyone else that has this prob? I emailed an app dev, about this issue and he replied "for some reason your phone doesnt allow you to list copy protected apps after updating." then suggested i contact market/google support. i went to the link and no email. just a link to FAQ. Maybe this supposed 2.1 official from htc leak isnt the %100 complete version. If so oh well, there would be a rom updated for that one as well if thats the case. I am pretty satisfied w/ the currrent build. I think its great.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI recently dl'd google scoreboard... my buddy at work recommended it. He has incredible too. The icons didn't fit properly and some text on bottom was cut off so I told him it was crap. He showed me his incred and the app looked fine. I then tried all my apps and noticed that a bunch of games I haven't played in weeks were now showing up with this zoomed in look.... others work/fit flawlessly. These games did work fine previously. I'm assuming some other app is to blame but have no idea how to go about it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an application published in the Android Market. Its target is 1.6 and its minSdkVersion is 1.5. The only persmission it uses is INTERNET. My Manifest file looks like this: I recently got an email from a user saying the application doesn't show up in the Market on an HTC Wildfire. I looked it up and the Wildfire is a QVGA (LDPI, 240x320) device running Android 2.1. The app does appear for MDPI and HDPI devices. Also, I can start up a QVGA 2.1 emulator and install the application without any problems.

There is no uninstall button, nor can I find it in /system/app or /data/app. It does not appear in Titanium Backup either.
It is called karoges, by cloudnine.
I am worried if this is some kind of malware.
Running 2.3.6 Gingerbread on Samsung Galaxy S 4G. Valhalla Final ROM.
Since I flashed some of the 2.2 ROMs, I have noticed that installing/updating apps from the market is hit or miss. Right now, I have two apps that are fully downloaded but aren't installing for some reason. They are showing up in the market as 100% downloaded and just stuck on that. Any ideas? I'm running adrynalyne's Sense ROM.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI set up Virtuous 2.6 (was running CMod 6.0.2 but it was restarting, even with the default kernel) this morning and have had this problem with Seesmic and Google Voice in Market where it downloads and then the progress bar goes away and the only button is Cancel download. But I can go into Astro /mnt/sdcard/download and there's Download.apk that is the file downloaded from Market. I was able to install both Seesmic and GV that way but neither are registered in Market, and running Market Doctor in Titanium Backup does not do the trick either.Any ideas on what the issue might be? I'd prefer to stay on Virtuous but not if this keeps happening.

View 12 Replies View RelatedRooted Motorola Droid 1 running UD8. Having trouble with my apps that are on the SD card not appearing using LauncherPro. Getting to be very frustrating. Appears that LauncherPro loads faster than the SD apps. I have been successful in "Restarting" LauncherPro in the "Setting, Preferences" tab. When LauncherPro restarts the apps are then their for use. This does not happen very often when I aas I go on. Very, very frustrating to have apps on Droid and not being able to use them. Any help will be appreciated. Ready to move on to something else if I cannot get a working runnaround. This is what the window with the SD card apps that do not work looks like. This is the message I get when I try to use one of the SD card apps. This is what it looks like when I go into "Menu, Applications" to look at my apps. Stays this way forever. The two by martetrut and the casino one. I tried searching my phone for any trace of these apps and found nothing other than their appearance on this list.
Today, I looked at my list and now more mystery apps have appeared, with another app by that martetrut dev.
I downloaded lookout and Norton and ran several scans and they didn't pick up anything.... I'm a little concerned.

Before I ask I did search and found a bunch of different techniques for installing non-market apps. I haven't tried any, but wanted to find the easiest/newest method.I have files on my computer and I was going to use drop box to transfer them to my phone.When I open the files in drop box it gives me the "for security, your phone is set to block."What is the easiest method to fix this? I am planning to root, but I just got the phone today so I want to get a handle on it first.

View 10 Replies View RelatedBasically when i install a new rom, the market has now lost the free apps because thats what it does. the market must have some sort of file it maintains locally with the list of apps, and whether or not they are set to auto-update. where is this list so i can just paste it into my new rom, and market will automatically get all the apps and maintain the auto update settings.(also i know and use titanium backup so dont reply with 'use titanium', i just want to do what im looking for so the market always gets the latest version on a rom redo and also keeps holding the auto-update status.)

I successfully purchase the app, I got the e-mail that the purchase went through, then it hangs at "authorizing purchase". Specifically, I'm having this issue right now with Vignette.
Don't know what happened but the my downloads section looks like it does after a factory reset, with all the free downloads not listed, the difference though is that if I search for them in the market, they all still show as installed. anyone have any ideas?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAnyone lately get the Google talk authentication error notification repeatedly and find that they can no longer download apps from the Android market? Mine is going on the third day now and endless Google searches reveal that this problem has affected various Android devices worldwide, including the Incredible that just came out. I've tried all kind of suggestions but none work and there doesn't seem to be any official response from Google on the matter. I wonder if it is a hardware problem since these forums are not buzzing on these issues at all. In my case the phone worked perfectly for 2 days after activating and knowing how high the demand has been surely more people would be experiencing the same issues were it a device or cloud software problem. If anyone else has the same problems please post here.

Only "top free" and "Just in" are options on the top. No paid apps, but some show in the "Just in". I thought there we supposed to be no market problems with these roms?
They appeared now. Took about seven hours, but they appeared.
After turning on my Incredible and swapping the stock battery with my extended battery, I was shown the start-up tutorial. After that, I was bombarded with about 5 FC messages.
My scene layout was still intact, but many of my icons were replaced with the little green Android guy, and tapping them resulted in the message "This app is no longer installed on your phone" and installed widgets said "error loading widget."
Any other market app I tried to run FCed immediately or after a few seconds running. Most pre-installed apps ran as if it were the first time running. Market only showed Gmail in my downloads. App list showed all the downloaded apps on phone, but none on SD.
Been running Android 2.2 with no issues up until now.
Searched various different things on Google and here, but found nothing.
Woke up with update message, ran update. Phone completely wiped out of ALL data. Was very upset Does anyone know how to find a list of all previously loaded market place apps? This is a total pain in the butt.
View 19 Replies View RelatedI still have some apps and my phone and wifi seem to be working fine.I don't have Market, Rom Manager, Titanium (but I DO have SuperUser). When I USB my phone to PC - the PC doesn't see either the phone pr the card although I haven't reinstalled HTC Sync). At this point, I don't really even know if I'm rooted or have busybox.I'm really puzzled as to what I should do next:I don't know whether to do a phone restore from Settings or, perhaps from Recovery? Or whether to find a RUU (Is there one with the updated radio or with Froyo? Or, I guess I could wait for the OTA - but that's a wimped out way out and it might not even work at this point. Or, do I want to try reinstalling Rom Manager and do the permission fix - then reflash one of the Froyo Roms. But would that get me Market back? In all cases I'm gonna have to reinstall most of my apps since most resided (at least partially) on the dead sd. Fortunately appbrain has a record of all my apps. - but, from what I understand, there's no way to install the Market, except via HTC/Google/Verizon.

I got my incredible last month and after playing with their phones I concluded my keyboard friggen sucks... the LAG is incredibly annoying. It takes me minutes of slaving over the keyboard to type out texts or emails. When I press a key theres a delay in it appearing in the input. If I even try to speed text everything is a jumbled mess. The portrait keyboard is even worse than the regular one. Anyone else experiencing this? I'm running Swiftkey (the problem remains on the stock input method too), and only a few apps like mail and weather. What the hell could be causing keyboard to lag so much?

I must of hit a button to clear them when I looked away for a second. Then I went to my settings and the apps are all still on my phone they just arent appearing on my all apps menu. How do I get them all on the all apps menu again? I need serious help I have no idea what to do.
