Jul 16, 2010This happened yesterday before I charged the battery from the store so I accepted it, however, today not so much.
The battery seems to hold off fine, but then as soon as the battery hits about 35%, it goes into a free fall until finally - minutes later - the 5% warning pops up and all of the sudden the phone shuts off and has to be charged to above 10% before it will even turn on.
Has anyone noticed this on their new Droid X (After the primary charge)?
HTC Incredible :: Cannot Search Music On Phone
Sep 7, 2010When I try to search through my phone via the search button (bottom right), everything but my music comes up. Contacts, apps, etc, but no music. have it set to search for music, but still no dice. the weird thing, is that things like "facebook_pop.mp3" will show up in my search results, just none of the mp3s I uploaded. If it matters, my music is stored on "phone storage" in a folder labeled "Music".

May 3, 2010On my incredible, the home, menu, back, and search notations on the body of the phone below the screen and above the trackball are not illuminated 95% of the time. If I am in the dark the notations are illuminated for a while, even when in a bright room. Then they go dark again.
Questions: Is there a setting I can adjust which can illuminate these notations all the time? Is this normal behavior?

Sep 8, 2010I'm sure I'm not the first one to say this, but for goodness sakes, we need a very good Android UI builder plugin for Eclipse or whatever other java tools developers are using. A nice toolbox docked on the side where I can drag and drop controls to the screen/form and then allow me to set the properties in the prop inspector and then create events, etc. I've got ideas for some business applications and I HATE having to deal with main.xml. Droid Draw is okay, but it is a far cry from having a good UI plugin.

I have tried three times but none works.
Provided with a custom recovery.fstab but still wont work.
I can provide the stock recovery.img
BTW, in recovery.fstab provided in builder.clockworkmod.com after it has finished the build the list is

Has my recovery.fstab got any errors???

I am fine. I just cant figure out where I am holding that reference?
Story is a member var of this object initialized with "";
Note - assigning to local String variable instead of char[] - fails as well.
Android :: Problem With Gesture Builder On Emulator
Nov 26, 2009I have the same problem with Gesture Builder on the emulator and when I build the app myself and install om my G1.
It does not save the gestures correctly on my sdcard. It does not create a folder called "gestures" but instead creates a file called "gestures" with a size on about 2kb. It does not grow when I create more gestures. Is this really correct, because I thought a folder would be created in which each gesture would be stored in different files.
I look in code for CreateGestureActivity.java and here is where the magic of saving happens:

May 20, 2010Yesterday I updated to the android 2.1 & rooted my phone. I have voice caller ID, & speak message service (reads out SMS messages)...& yesterday & even a few hours ago, they were working just fine... I even tried out the new voice search stuff (microphone icon) & it was fine. Well bout an hour or so ago, my phone rang & it no longer said who was calling, nor will it read out my texts...& when I click on the microphone icon, a screen pops up that says "Audio Problems" try again or cancel. What could have happened that suddenly made these stop working? If I have to reset my phone again, will I have to re-update the androiod 2.1 & root my phone again? Can someone help me out please? I would really appreciate your guys help.

I purchased some apps for the Inc like Doodle jumper and now in 2 weeks I am getting a new phone because mine reboots all the time, So my question is, How do I easily re-install the apps I purchased? The answers keep saying once you log into your google account the phone will know but it doesn't, I tried it on my buddies Inc just to test and it still makes me put in CC info to get D.J. on that phone so i am worried I will have to re purchase any apps when the new one arrives. I tried to backup the apps but I cannot find the purchased ones in the private area unless it is rooted (according to forums)

3.then i installed AIR 2.5 run time in my emulator
4.after that i tried to install the apk file that Created from the 'package assisstant pro' then i tried to install the apk file by using command prompt then it show this error
"INSTATTION FAILED INVALLID APK" .And also i cann't install other apk file (Sample air for android application apk file that downloaded from the site) that shows the same error
I succeed to install other application's(Say for printing hello world) apk file
