HTC Desire :: Apps Organizer Vs Folder Organizer
Nov 20, 2010While trying to do a massive clear out to regain space, I see that my Folder Organizer Lite is massive and keeps being updated and getting bigger. I only use it to change icons and have only created two folders. Is Apps Organizer better for such limited use? It appears a lot smaller too. Is it really smaller? Before I delete stuff I want to keep just so I can download App Organizer to try it out, will this app do what I want and be a smaller app? What are the main advantages to keep Folder Organizer?

Jun 25, 2010I have downloaded an icon pack from the internet onto my PC. I havce extracted the files and got them in a lovely folder. However, when I download them onto my Desire I can't seem to locate my new icons via FolderOrganiser Lite.Is there a specific place where you have to save them on your SD card?

Android :: Launcher Pro 7.9 / Apps Organizer / Folder Organizer Incompatible?
Sep 21, 2010Looks like LP 7.9 breaks both these apps on my system. When I load, my shortcuts still work, but as soon as I go into Apps Organizer, it crashes and gives me the bug screen. Folder Organizer let me get into the setup once, then it crashed as well.

Sep 19, 2010There are a number of different icon packs in the Market which i like or have been using however none seem to contain anywhere near the right amount of icons which i need.Now, flame me if you will but i really like the iphoney style icons ie the ones in a square shape which are very colorful.Ive downloaded a number off of the market but to date all i have been happy with is tenuis icon pack, matte icons and serenade icons pack.These dont contain exactly what i want though and have too much of what i dont want.I see alot of people get icons off of there desktop somehow.How do i do this?I have never plugged my desire into my computer so am a complete newbie to doing things that way.I really want some decent icons that can really show what my apps are without text and id like too browse through some online but i dont know where to start.

I've gone through playstore and copied the PNGs for their app Icons. Jun 30, 2010I just installed Folder Organizer Lite on my Desire in order to be able to change the icons on my home screen. It worked like a charm, but now I have a question. I am able to edit the name of the icons, for example I have changed Advanced Task Killer to ATK, but I would like to have the option to not have any text at all. When I go to alter the text as usual and just delete the text, nothing changes. So does anyone out there know how to completely remove text from underneath icons?

Nov 30, 2009i have tried searching and waiting to see if anyone else is having this problem but apparently i am the only one. no matter what i do i can't get any of the font packs to work in open home. i have tried all the free ones on the market. when i go to menu>more>text font & color>edit text (doesnt matter which) i get a force close. does anyone have a fix for this or can tell me what i am doing wrong? those are the instructions in the app but maybe i am missing something.

Dec 1, 2010I used Apps Organizer to create folders of related apps (like Games, Japanese, etc) to go on to my home screen. I rather like it. Just one irritation, to which I wonder if anyone has a solution. If I switch the phone off for any reason, when I switch it back on, the folders are all still on the home screen, with the icon I have attributed to the folder, but the names all change to 'Apps label'. I can't find any obvious solution, other than to delete the shortcuts and reintroduce them, but would be grateful for anyone's thoughts. If there is another similar application I could use in its place, that would be fine - I'm not especially attached to Apps Organizer, though I do like it other than the name thing.
