View 1 RepliesI have a specific way I want to go about it. It will be video oriented and I need all the Droid default icons in png format for as many droid versions as possible. Im refering to basic app icons like those used for alarm, clock, internet, calendar, music, etc. I also need the samsung specific app icons in PNG format. I've gone through playstore and copied the PNGs for their app Icons. Its that manufacture default Icons and Samsung Icons that I can't find like "Polarise", "S Voice", "voice recorder"and the samsung specific "Music" App. a cache or archive of these types of Icons, or know where to get them?
View 2 Replies View Related My device is Samsung Galaxy Y. Already i am trying to make my flashable icon pack. I use guide mrallyluz (http:url...). I have icons, custom icon pack, updater script, but i don't know how can i add more icons. I mean, for example, in folder unpack i have folders browser.apk, settings.apk, calendar.apk with custom icons inside these folders, and i want to add more icons to change. View 3 Replies View RelatedThe purpose of this tutorial is to change the generic windows icon of your G1 to an Android icon. What icon you ask? The generic removable disk icon given to your G1 when you plug it in to your PC. i thought it would be fun to create one that differentiates it from the rest. So here we go!
1. First of all we are going to download the pack ive created for you here.
2. Second we are going to rename the drive to Android G1 like i have on this image.
3. Third we are simply going to unpack the files you downloaded using an application like, WinRAR or 7-Zip. WinRAR offers you a 30day trial and 7-Zip is an open source freeware product. Choose one that fits you.
4. Now we are simply going to drag it into the root of the drive. Seeing since mine is the "K:/" drive, im going to place it in there. Once that is done, highlight both icons and choose properties and check off the "Hidden" attribute so that you don't accidentally delete them.
5. You're all set! Enjoy your new icon! Im going to be making a Vista version for all you people that like high quality icons. Stay tuned!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having a problem getting my android dev environment setup in Windows 7. I follow the instructions here, as well as several environment sublinks. I am using Eclipse with the Android plugin. I have installed the Java JDK several times, in various locations (jdk-6u20-windows-i586.exe) - but I am obviously missing something.
Every time I run "android create avd --target 2 --name my_avd" I get an error:
C:Usersandrew>android create avd --target 2 --name my_avd
WARNING: Java not found in your path.
Checking it it's installed in C:Program FilesJava instead.
ERROR: No suitable Java found. In order to properly use the Android Developer
Tools, you need a suitable version of Java installed on your system. We
recommend that you install the JDK version of JavaSE, available here:
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/
You can find the complete Android SDK requirements here: http://developer.android.com/sdk/requirements.html
This error message is the reason for me installing the JDK several times over. First I tried installing to a location on my e: drive. I then moved it to the default loc (program files (x86)javajdk.6.something. I also tried forcing it to go into the program files path, but it still automatically installs into the (x86) path. I have added the install path to my path environment variable every single time, yet I still continue to get this error. My suspicion is that windows 7 and the android tools are not playing together well in terms of finding the JDK, but who knows, it may be something entirely different. If you have seen this error before.
I'm starting with Android development and I have no idea what's wrong on the this command line:
C:Documents and SettingsGabriel.Esquivel.androidavd>android create avd -n Ev
o4G -t 9 -c 8000MB -s 480-800
Valid skins: WVGA854, WQVGA400, HVGA (default), WQVGA432, WVGA800, QVGA
Error: '480-800' is not a valid skin name or size (NNNxMMM)
I am trying to create the following AVDs
http://mobile.tutsplus.com/tutorials/android/common-android-virtual-device-configurations/
But it won't work on from Android SDK Manager. There seems to be bug that throws the following error "SD Card size must be at least 9MB". So I have decided to try from command prompt as I read on other blog that it will allow me to create AVDs without getting SDs less than 9MB errors. It won't take specific dimensions for the skin-s width-height
This only happens in landscape mode.
I've found a thread on it: [URL] .....
I've rebooted several times and tried both Nova Launcher and trebuchet.
I want to create my own android dictionary application. But I don't know how can i start. Are there any software or something.
