When I activated my phone, the near me now google search was available. I don't know what changed, but when i open my browser it is not there. "Enable Location" is still there in my settings.

I have lost titanium backup and I cant find it in the market. It also says i have no downloaded market apps. It worked before in bb.4 and my phone says apps restored.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if anyone has been using Google Talk exclusively for SMS and ditched their texting w Verizon all together. I mainly ask as I am curious how reliable it is as a replacement for SMS. I'd love to cut my phone bill by $20 a month. My friend (5-6 months ago) said he was having issues w Gtalk in regards to some msgs not sending, or he never actually received them to his phone. He had issues with his N1 on Tmobile. Is anyone still experiencing similar problems? My SMS MUST function and be completely reliable as I use it constantly to communicate with my managers.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI have my original gmail account "slaved" to my google apps account, so when I log in to user@gmail.com it displays my google apps user@domain.com as being logged in. For most things this is great, but now with the android phone there are some gotchya's First was the Market. I had to create yet another gmail account to buy anything off the market, because when I sign in to my 'gmail' account on my phone it signs me in as an apps user.
Second, is my google voice (attached to gmail) has its own set of contacts associated with my gmail account, and they are not synced with my google apps account. I was hoping the phone would sort of mesh them together, however I'm not seeing that. On my iPhone I was using soocial, however they recently stopped allowing unlimited contacts and their new free limit is below my number of contacts. Is there a way for the phone to keep these to contact lists "connected" and synced together?
I came to the Incredible from a Blackberry, and to sync my Google Calendar/work Outlook Calendar/Blackberry Calendar required me to export my Outlook Calendar as a .CSV, delete my Google Calendar, import the .CSV to Google, delete the Blackberry Calendar, and then run Google Sync.On the Incredible, I could not find how to delete the cached calendar until this morning. Just go to Settings, Applications, Manage Applications, Calendar Storage, then click Clear data. Then back out to Settings, select Accounts & sync, then click Sync all.Befor someone suggusts that I can just use the HTC Sync to cut the steps down, I cannot connect the Incredible to my work PC, and even if I could, I cannot run any "unapproved" software, and work won't approve of HTC Sync since they dont see a "business purpose" to it.
View 3 Replies View RelatedToday, I managed to sync. my Lotus Notes calendar with google calendar (after 2 days of turmoil)Then the notes events were displayed on google calendar but 6 hours ahead (like GMT) thought both calendars were set on the same time zone (CST).At this point, the calendar pad widget synced with google calendar and displayed all my lotus notes events 6 hours ahead as in the google calendar.I then changed my google calendar time zone to GMT so that my lotus notes events showed the correct time .But now, the calendar pad widget still shows the old google calendar events that was 6 hours off even after syncing.Can some one please help configure such that my lotus notes , google calendar and calendar pad widget all show the same events at same time (hopefully, maintaining the same time zone settings for all)
View 3 Replies View RelatedIt seems that 2.2 locks google talk into the first google account you sign up with.I thought on 2.1 I could sign in to the account I wanted to use, however it appears that's not the case now.I use gmail (for google checkout) however my main "google" account is an apps account.So I believe for the market to be associated correctly with my gmail account, that one needs to be created first.Any way to get google talk to use my apps account, or any way to play with the accounts (create, clear/remove, re-add) to get them setup so the market works with my gmail account but gtalk uses my apps account?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSearched for this but didn't find anything. I have my GV voicemail set up to go directly to my voicemail box (no pin) when dialing voicemail from my phone. I have everything configured correctly on the GV site and on my phone (dialed the *71GVNumber). When I call my voicemail it just rings and I have to press * to get to the PIN prompt. Is there something different about the Incredible that this doesn't work correctly? I had this correctly setup on my Storm2.

1. I'd like HTC to upgrade the Sense Keyboard. When you need to select a number or symbol, you need to hold in a key. The problem with this is that if you accidentally press a button by accident and want to "roll" your finger to the right one you are able to do this. The problem is you can only select the letter no matter how long you hold the key in the numbers and symbols will never pop up.
2. Make a separate app for Photo's and Video's or just call the app "Media"
3. Subtitle support in the default video player.
Has anyone been able to get good earth on their HTC Incredible? I tried searching for it on the android marketplace but it couldnt find it

I did some searching and people with the regular droid said that you go to settings -> text to Ipeech and can change it there (i changed it to british eng) but I did that and the nav voice is still regular english? Can anyone else try this and confirm if it works or not?
