Jul 31, 2010Just can't find anything definitive, I know it can work, since ad has it in his ROMs but I just can't locate anything clear cut. Maybe I'm to drunk but I can't find it.

View 3 RepliesDon't know if this was ever posted, never saw it. If you want to be able to wake your phone with the trackpad, go to the market and get "No Lock". Its an app to disable the slide down to unlock. Well I found out that the trackpad will now wake the phone. Just click the trackpad. No need for the top button. Also the side buttons will wake the phone. So if you keep your phone in your pocket be careful.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI want to be able to wake the phone by pressing the trackpad button. (like the iPhone's home button, just converted ) I've looked around and can't seem to find a way to set this. I tried the "lockbot" app someone had recommended but it did more then i wanted and still didn't seem to enable that button to wake the phone. Any ideas?

View 12 Replies View RelatedSo, are there a lot of people out there using the optical trackpad? I've had the phone for a while and....I don't think I've ever actually used it except to mess around. Are there some things that it makes easier? Better? Faster?
View 32 Replies View RelatedJust got my inc on Wednesday, and the trackpad is moving on my screen by itself. very annoying when texting, and browsing. tried cleaning it, tried reboot. is this a software issue or is it bad hardware?
View 2 Replies View RelatedMoving my thumb over the trackpad just goes from link to link, but it disorients me because I can't predict where it will jump.Is there a way to just make it show a cursor?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there anyway that I can set up my Incredible to use the button where the optical trackpad is to power the screen?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI really have no use for it otherwise. I would like to be able to click on it and have camera pop up if possible.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI was curious about this myself, and i have seen numerous post about this on the forums complaining about having to unlock with the top button
I searched about nexus since it is similar and saw a few things about the app LOCKBOT, i recommend you atleast try the free version and see, it gives you unlock with the trackpad button and the ability to do custom lockscreen with different styles like Iphone, and different android locks. THis was one grip i didnt like about sense. Stock Android has the ability to swipe to unlock or swipe the other way to mute sounds, which is a nice feature, although i prefer my iphones switch the best
The bad...Ive read stuff about it crashing and being laggy, now i havnt experiended this on the INC, it runs super smooth. But i have been having a few times where the front button will not unlock the phone, maybe an update will fix this or something, but its worth a shot to look at.
Just curious, I have my phone set to time out after 2 minutes. Is pressing the lock button on top the only way to wake it up?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo we all know our Incredible, is well Incredible. But how does it wake you up? Certain app? Song? ETC.
For me after running Lightning Bug all night, my smart alarm clock wakes me up playing Lady gagas Alejandro... :-)
So I've been trying to use a MP3 sound for my alarm clock on my Incredible, but haven't had any luck other than just the "Light" "Instance" etc... what do I have to do, to get an actual song to be on that list to wake me up?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been noticing that the Calendar is always at the top of the partial wake usage when I check it in spare parts. As of right now my phone has been unplugged for 3 hours and the calendar has held a 30 minute partial wake lock. The second on the list is the Android system which has only held a 4 minute partial wake lock. Is this normal for the calendar to hold a partial wake lock like this? I heard about the Flickr bug but I do not sync my account with Flickr and never have. I'm not even syncing my calendar with Google currently.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have the HTC Incredible. Sometimes when I want to hang up a call I can't get my screen to wake. Does it really sleep in the middle of a call? I feel like I should just be able to touch it and it should give me the hang up option.
Sometimes it responds nicely by lighting back up when I tilt the phone away from my ear and then I can press the hang up button, but other times I have the problem that I just described.
Anyone found a good shake to wake app.I read in one review that the Incredible has one built in but I can't find it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedAnyone else having this issue with there Incredible? If i hit the sleep button to shut off the screen it will wake up when i hit it again. If i just let the screen time out it wont wake back up, but the touch buttons buzz but screen wont wake

View 10 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know of an app or setting to allow to phone to wake upon clicking the optical track pad? I'm so use to doing this with my ipod touch that i really wished the DI could do it too. Wake the screen from the power button is sort of annoying
View 41 Replies View RelatedWhen the INC is sleeping I can feel the vibrate or hear the notification sound, however, it won't wake up or let me know that I have something waiting for me just by glancing at it from a distance if it's sleeping. This isn't an issue if I am in a quiet environment, but otherwise it is. I have checked all the settings and there doesn't seem to be a way to make this happen.
View 19 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know of any way to get the Incredible to wake up by pressing the optical trac-pad on the front instead of the power button up top?
I find the power button to be annoying and wish both would "wake-up" the screen.
Is there a way to use the optical mouse to wake my phone up as opposed to using the top button?
View 3 Replies View Relatedlast night I got tired of waiting for the 2.2 update so I installed unrevoked forever, 2.15 radio and the third wave rom from adrenyline. After all that went smoothly I decided to throw the standard clock undervolt hydra kernel in there too. After I did that I got sporadic reboots and the screen became very unresponsive. Also it seems to cause the phone to freeze whenever it has to wake up to play a notification sound or alarm...
Now I have to say that I had the same problem about a month ago when I tried one of the older Hydra Kernels, but I figured it would be fixed with the newer ones. My question is it seems that I am the only one with problems, all the posts I read about these things are positive with little or no issues. Am I installing it incorrectly somehow? Is anyone else having issues too?
My trackpad suddenly stopped working, I haven't dropped it or anything like that so I don't think it is a hardware problem.
View 7 Replies View RelatedThe trackpad in my desire is a bit "leggy". I don't know if this is normal but in menus it only moves 1 tile at a time even if I drag all my finger over it. I have seen blackberry trackpads and they are supper smooth Sometimes when editing text I have to move it 3-5 times to get to the right position.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if it is possible that instead of using the button on top to take the phone out of sleep if it would be possible to use the track pad ball thing. I'm do.ding that I'm not using this button at all. Am I the only one?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen I wake up my Desire from sleep mode all the bottom buttons, menu, home back etc all illuminate except for the trackpad. Is this correct or should that illuminate as well ? Switching on my phone in the dark I can see all buttons except for the trackpad (not that I use it that much), just want confirmation that this is correct?

Does anyone know if it's possible to move the "wake" functionality from the Power button to the Volume rocker? It seems to me that it's much easier to reach the volume buttons I only have one hand on the phone.
