May 13, 2010when i try to get my new feed, i get this msg. an error has occured while fetching data. 102 session key invalid or no longer valid how can i fix this?

Jun 10, 2010I am one of those crazy types with 2000+ Facebook friends for games and such. When I get my DInc. (hopefully this week or early next week.) and do the contact merger thing, Do I have to merge in all of my Facebook friends? Or can I just pick a filter like Family and Close Friends only? This would bring the total merged contacts down to a much more manageable 100+ or so. Really do not want 2000 people on my phone, that would be a mess! If there is no option other than all or none, I may have to start a new facebook account just to limit the chaos.

I turned off the face book notifications because they were annoying. But when I did that, the pictures and statuses never refresh. I just want them to refresh, but I don't want the notifications to be sent to me all day.

Nov 9, 2010Anyone ever had this happen? Downloaded an update after the 2.1 upgrade and I sync'd my contacts with FB. It then deleted all of my contacts.So I deleted Facebook, re-stored all my contacts and reloaded Facebook. However, now it gets as far as installing and it never stops. It just stays on Installing.However, the FB app works fine on the phone itself.Is this a Market glitch? Is there anyway I can purge it from out of my downloads section?

Nov 8, 2010I am currently working on an experimental camera app. I'm looking into implementing face detection at the moment and am currently weighing up my options.I have considered the OpenCV port available for android and using their face detection functions, but from demos I have seen of previous implementations the camera seems to lag a lot.Considering the camera on the HTC desire has face detecting, I know it must be possible to get at least a semi decent face detection system in place. I was just wondering if anyone had an opinion on how I could get the best results.Using an available library? Implementing a particular algorithm myself?

The same pointer, env, points towards the function CallVoidMethod( ) that uses JNI to reach to the java code.

However on calling this function, the system is getting crashed, and VM says that it's an invalid reference to static jobject o and then it crashes.

However after opening the mapview I get a notification saying "The community map could not be displayed because it contains errors"
I only get this error if I download the .kml directly from maps.google. If I copy the exact same link into my address bar, download the .kml file, and upload it elsewhere then it works fine. I would like to be able to get the maps directly from Google that way I can make a change and it would be immediately reflected to my users.

Oct 14, 2009I know this is not really the place to post this message, but this is the closest thing I could find to google android support. So a friend of mine did too many wrong patterns and the phone is asking for my username and password. When i fill in my login and password, it says "invalid username or password". I tried it like 20 times.I have of course verified the username and password on my gmail, and it works fine. Has this ever happened to anyone ? Is there a way around it ? I refuse to reset my phone to factory settings, i have all my contacts, and important notes in there.I was really looking forward to android, but stuff like this is just unacceptable, really disappointing.
